How tragic that we need to be lectured on this simple principle

It is absolutely tragic to me that Americans have to be reminded by people that have first hand experience of the very problems our 2nd amendment was supposed to protect us from of how wrong it is to bow down to the wishes of the tyrannical:

This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items. People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.

Various armies, such as the Poles, during the Смута (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy walk in the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.

This well armed population was what allowed the various White factions to rise up, no matter how disorganized politically and militarily they were in 1918 and wage a savage civil war against the Reds. It should be noted that many of these armies were armed peasants, villagers, farmers and merchants, protecting their own. If it had not been for Washington’s clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently.

Moscow fell, for example, not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lying guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons: where they were promptly shot.

Of course being savages, murderers and liars does not mean being stupid and the Reds learned from their Civil War experience. One of the first things they did was to disarm the population. From that point, mass repression, mass arrests, mass deportations, mass murder, mass starvation were all a safe game for the powers that were. The worst they had to fear was a pitchfork in the guts or a knife in the back or the occasional hunting rifle. Not much for soldiers.

To this day, with the Soviet Union now dead 21 years, with a whole generation born and raised to adulthood without the SU, we are still denied our basic and traditional rights to self defense. Why? We are told that everyone would just start shooting each other and crime would be everywhere….but criminals are still armed and still murdering and too often, especially in the far regions, those criminals wear the uniforms of the police. The fact that everyone would start shooting is also laughable when statistics are examined.

While President Putin pushes through reforms, the local authorities, especially in our vast hinterland, do not feel they need to act like they work for the people. They do as they please, a tyrannical class who knows they have absolutely nothing to fear from a relatively unarmed population. This in turn breeds not respect but absolute contempt and often enough, criminal abuse.

I have no doubt that the current WH is after guns for the same reason the Reds disarmed the peoples of their new utopian U.S.S.R. back in the day: it is much easier to abuse an unarmed people. Fast & Furious backfired. The LSM and a dysfunctional DOJ have helped these tyrants hide what they where doing from the people. All this bleating about how they care about the children and want to prevent more such tragedies is nothing but a disgusting attempt to capitalize on tragedy too push their agenda further. Anyone pretending otherwise is an accomplice in the lie or, to use terminology from one of the most famous and brutal masters of the Red utopian revolution, Uncle Joe, a fucking useful idiot. Nothing they propose will stop a determined killer, be they evil, insane, or both, from killing, and the argument that if it makes killing more difficult it is a good thing, basically reveals that these idiots really want you to believe the problem is with law abiding citizens owning firearms in the first place.

The good news is that stories like this one, or this one, ore even this one, abound. It tells me that we still, despite the results of the last election that show clearly how the number of makers has been overcome by that of the takers, enough people in this country left that know why Americans, up until recently at least, have experienced prosperity and freedom, while the rest of the world has been mired in shit and seen governments abuse, oppress, and mass murder their disarmed populations.

These opportunist tyrant-wannabes and their sycophantic propagandists in the media could not have prayed for a better excuse to both distract people from their economy destroying plans, or to be used to turn public opinion against the recent SCOTUS ruling that shot down their previous attempts to violate the 2nd amendment, to do more gun grabbing. I firmly believe that it is not a coincidence that actual facts and details of what happened during this tragedy have stopped coming out either. The story remains murky, and I now believe that any details that might show the problem was the idiotic notion that declaring anything a “gun free zone”, under the penalty of law, and then believing it would deter a determined criminal or psycho, or of how people where actually killed and with what weapon that would undermine the narrative, is being held back so the gun grabbers can continue to advance the notion that disarming law abiding citizens will prevent senseless killings from happening again.

The gun grabbers are playing us all for fools. It’s a double whammy; they are using this tragedy and their feigned concern about “the chilrun” as an excuse to disarm law abiding citizens as well as distracting us from the fact that their wealth redistribution schemes result in abysmal economic outcomes. I wish I had a Green TV network to sell to some rich oil people.

A parallel to ponder – watch the video in the update

I have been paying attention at the odious political attempt by the left to, like ghouls, use the tragedy of Newtown to do what “Fast & Furious” failed to provide them with: an opportunity to shit all over the second amendment. The left’s idiotic and totally emotional and hypocritical argument, repeated ad nauseum, is that if guns, especially any firearm that the left likes to lump into the totally misunderstood category of automatic weapon, are really hard to get, then crazy or evil people will have less of chance to kill. Arguments that show even a total fire arm ban could do no such thing – a midnight special bought off the streets, a dozen cans of gasoline, and a lighter, and any determined crazy or evil bastard could kill half of that school off – fall on deaf ears.

The left has a crisis they plan to take advantage of, and no amount of logic will dissuade them to let go of the emotionally laden narrative they plan to use to disarm the sheep. In the mean time they keep their weapons while they disarm us.

Look, the best example I can think of how we should address the left’s emotional tirade, is our legal system. Our legal system is supposedly structured in order to protect the innocent above all. Our Constitution and Bill of Rights are replete with enumerated limitations on the power of government to violate the presumption of innocence and our basic right to freedom. We accept, and are even proud of the fact, the system has a motto that says it is better to let 1000 guilty people walk than it is to convict one innocent man! It is a risk we accept to honor the rights of the innocent. And yet, when it comes to our second amendment rights, these same idiots that pretend to be the most proud about the legal system, take the exact opposite tact. They want to punish the tens of millions of good, law abiding, and responsible American firearm owners in order to keep the illusion of safety your occasional evil and/or crazy fucker violates.

It is not accidental that this Lanza kid picked a gun free zone to do his killing. Just like I am certain there was nothing that could have been done to prevent him from doing it. Oh, in hind sight there will be all these people saying that we should have noticed this or that, but it will all be after the fact nonsense. Lanza, unfortunately for the left, which is probably why the media has not pushed the narrative, came from a well to do home – his mother got $250K a year in alimony! – did great in school, and did nothing that would come of as a red flag before he committed this senseless act. We have heard that he was bright and did well in school, even if he was a bit of a loner. There are thousands of kids with high school issues that never do what Lanza did. His mental health issues are still up for debate, but I have a feeling we will find out event these were exaggerated by the media ghouls feeding on this tragedy.

As I pointed out, repeatedly too, no laws, not even a total firearms ban, could have prevented a determined killer from doing evil. Connecticut has some of the most draconian firearms laws in the union already, and they did not stop the massacre. The left’s idiotic narrative that more restrictive rules or even firearms bans would have prevented or deterred a determined mass murder, is bullshit. Would the tragedy be any less of a tragedy had he killed fewer kids with something other than a firearm? What if he had stolen a gas tanker and drove the thing into the school then blown it up? Would we be discussing the banning of gasoline delivery trucks?

The good things is that some people are getting it. Our aristocracy, the same fucking leftist twits telling us right now that we need to be further disarmed, send their kids to schools with armed security. Practically every one of them also have private guards that are armed to the teeth. But for the regulars shlob, their answer is to disarm us more and leave our kids and our own security to their approved government agents. The same ones that where twenty minutes late to the Newtown massacre when seconds counted.

If we have a legal system willing to let criminals walk to protect innocents, why do we have so many of that system’s big defenders ready to attack and undermine the second amendment, under the pretense that they are doing good, while the end result is punishment of the innocent to prevent the guilty from doing wrong? There is something else at work here. And we forget that at our own risk. I remind everyone again that it is not an accident that violence is the highest in the very places where the left disarmed the law abiding people with the laws they now are pushing for.

UPDATE:

For all the idiots that defended the lie that the WH didn’t know…

I knew that as soon as Team Obama chose to throw Hillary under the bus to cover their ass on their Benghazi fiasco, that this was going to come back to bite them. I expected this to happen after the election, to help Obama, but it looks like it didn’t even take that long for Hillary to burn Barack:

Last night, it was revealed that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had ordered more security at the U.S. mission in Benghazi before it was attacked where four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens were murdered by Al-Qaeda but President Obama denied the request.

The news broke on TheBlazeTV’s “Wilkow!” hosted by Andrew Wilkow, by best-selling author, Ed Klein who said the legal counsel to Clinton had informed him of this information.

This wasn’t an accidental leak: the Clintons play for keeps, after all. The Clintons smell an Obama defeat next week, despite the massive voter fraud I expect that will happen to try and steal the election for these bums, and they want to make sure Hillary is distanced from that failure, sooner rather than later.

And there you have it. As all of us sane people knew, the micromanagers in the WH didn’t only know about something that’s scandalous only to pretend they didn’t, but they are the ones directly behind the decision that cost 4 Americans, including the ambassador, their lives. This is not the first time we will find out they lied, not just about knowing what was going on, but about being behind the decision making, and all. Oh how I wish the Clintons had something to gain from exposing the WH’s role in Fast & Furious. We would finally get the truth about that too. I am sure all the appologists with egg on their face will pretend it isn’t there, though.

Don’t worry your purdy heads though lefties. This close to the election the LSM is going to play ostrich and ignore the story. They don’t want to hobble their lame horse any more than it has hobbled itself already, but the stupid and ineptness of Team Obama can not be saved even with the fifth column’s help. It’s neither accidental or coincidental that the only outlet reporting this is Fox News and the only other places you find that it is much worse than it seems is on non-leftoid blogs.

More Fast, But Not Furious Enough

The Fast and Furious investigation is over, right? All a big paranoid delusion by the Right Wing, right? Hahaha! Those crazy Right Wingers and their theories.

Wrong:

A new report by our partners at Univision has found additional links between violent crimes in Mexico and guns involved in the Obama administration’s flawed “Fast and Furious” operation.

Fifty-seven previously unidentified weapons tied to the operation — allowed to “walk” across the U.S. border into Mexico so ATF agents could trace them – were later found at the sites of murders, kidnappings and at “two gruesome massacres,” Univision’s Gerardo Reyes and Santiago Wills report.

The reporters made the discovery by cross-referencing a list of guns registered with “Fast and Furious” and a Mexican government list of the roughly 60,000 guns recovered at crime scenes in 2009 and 2010.

In July, a congressional investigation into the program reported 122 weapons had been traced to Mexican crime scenes. The Univision report adds 57 weapons to that list.

By the way, there are still 1200 guns unaccounted for. Even if we accept the DOJ’s excuse that this program started under Bush (it didn’t really, but let’s play their game), does the Justice Department bear no responsibility for this? Does the Attorney General bear no responsibility? You know I hate playing the “if Bush did it” game, but … Univision’s report literally shows blood in the streets. Does anyone here think that, had this happened five years ago, we’d be hearing about it from fucking Univision?

This isn’t over. This is only going to get worse and worse.

Would they need to do this if they where not trying to hide bad stuff?

As is to be expected, the usual propagandists in the LSM have chosen to ignore yet another devastating revelation of how corrupt the Obama Administration’s totally partisan DOJ has become. To those of us that suspected that the DOJ’s attempts to pretend that their scandalous and clearly politically motivated actions were anything but, these revelations are not news. From how the DOJ dismissed the blatant voter intimidation cases such as the one involving the Black Panthers, to the massive spinning about Fast & Furious, it was obvious that these were political.

The way the Black Panther case was dismissed, with a cavalier attitude and an attitude that pretended the people pointing out this was blatant voter discrimination were the racists, was an absolute shame. The message by the DOJ’s summary dismissal, frightening: racism can only come from honkeys, and voter intimidation only matters when the democrats can gain from it.

The way the DOJ tried to pretend that they had done the same as evil Boosh-Chimpy-McHitler’s administration, so nothing could possibly be remiss with the despicable Fast & Furious operation, didn’t fool anyone but the people that wanted to be fooled, and was even more shameful. Apply Occam’s razor to the Fast & Furious fiasco, and you quickly find out that the string of “mistakes” and “bad decisions” could not have been anything but a blatant series of moves intended to violate Mexican sovereignty with the objective to give the anti gun lobby some ammunition to undermine support for the second amendment they so despise, in order to counteract the losses handed to the tyrants that need a disarmed public by the courts. There is no other logical reason, not even pure ineptness, that would explain an operation that all but guaranteed weapons from the US would land in the hands of criminal gangs that would use them to kill people.

The left told us that crazy people where the ones that saw conspiracies, because nothing was remiss. Now we know better:

Abuse Of Power: The Justice Department has been caught colluding with left-wing media “watchdog” Media Matters to suppress critics who’ve embarrassed the Obama administration. What is this, Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela?

Based on a cache of internal Justice Department e-mails obtained by the Daily Caller, Attorney Gen. Eric Holder’s press staff has been collaborating all along with left-wing media “watchdog” Media Matters to smear any reporter asking uncomfortable questions, to discourage whistle-blowers, to discredit political watchdogs and to suppress damaging news about what’s going on in the Obama administration.

The Daily Caller found dozens of pages of e-mails between DOJ Public Affairs Director Tracy Schnakler and Media Matters staffers planning and discussing how to attack reporters who covered scandals such as the Black Panther voter suppression case, and the Fast and Furious scandal where DOJ sold thousands of guns to Mexico’s notorious crime cartels — the truth of which DOJ didn’t want to get out.

These weren’t just instances of over-sharing between political allies or a quest for access, such as the New York Times was caught doing when one of its reporters submitted an unpublished story to a CIA flack.

This was the Obama administration planning and directing operations from on high in a grotesque example of the state with all its powers using an off-the-books nuisance organization to harass its critics.

Look, if Team Obama’s blatantly biased DOJ are willing to go to this length to do damage control, it is for a reason: they need to control the narrative or people might find out they are up to no good. And they need to control the people that can undermine the narrative because the narrative is key in making sure the sheep don’t get the facts. Funny how the very same people that accused the Bush Administration’s DOJ of being political are now exposed as have taken actions that the Bush Administration’s DOJ could never have dreamed of getting away with. And yet, the LSM feels the only stories of worth these days are more of the same kind of narrative that tells the sheep Obama –good, Romney- bad. The facts be damned.

The top organization in charge of law enforcement in the US not only flaunts the law for political gain, but colludes with the most radical elements amongst the left’s propaganda machine to then cover up these despicable acts, but the big story in the DNC controlled LSM is evil Romney’s dislike of poor people! Yeah, no bias or fact and news manipulation there for sure, either. No wonder they have to skew polls participation so far to the left: they need to account for the big bounce the LSM gives the left. In the mean time our legal system only protects and serves those from the right party while that fact remains not news worthy…

The more we find out about Holder’s reign at the DOJ, the more it is obvious that these people think they are above the law and that the law is their personal weapon to deal with their opposition.

Holder caught in a lie: LSM yawns

Late last Friday in a dump they hoped everyone would miss, the DOJ released a series of documents related to operation “Fast & Furious” that all but make it a given Eric Holder lied to congress when he first told them the whopper that he had not heard about the operation until a few weeks before he showed up to testify. He then compounded that lie by claiming it might be weeks instead of months. The document dump shows Holder knew about “Fast & Furious” from the very damned start, and as people now doing the work the LSM is avoiding are finding out, might even have been behind the whole thing from the start.

As I pointed out when the story broke out, only to be chastised because I could not meet some standard of evidence even a court doesn’t expect from it’s participants, or because the LSM was avoiding the story, and when forced to cover it, they where spinning everything favorably for the Obama Administration, this was going to be a whopper. Our DOJ ran an operation, on foreign soil, that cost people their lives, all so they could then affect public perception and support for disarming people. This is the kind of high stakes tyrannical bullshit I expect from gun hating collectivists, and I pointed out the order very likely came straight from the Oval office, only to be excoriated for daring to point out what I clearly see as a plan to push for Obama’s new America.

The DOJ is now de facto been identified as a player. Holder now is about to be grilled again in front of Congress, and while I am sure the left will rally around him to protect him, this display of “support” is going to only help get people to see how cynical and vile the left is in their pursuit of power: and have no doubt that disarming law abiding citizens is a prerequisite to tyrannical control of the populous. We also already know that there are many links to the WH. And sooner than later we will also find out Holder took his order from the very top. Mark my words. Those that want to defend the indefensible can start flinging pooh now, and pray it distracts the people long enough for the crooks to steal another election and really get busy.

Ethical & transparent my ass…

As I pointed out when these scumbags where pretending they would be better than their predecessors, buyer beware. Never trust the leftard politicians to be either ethical or transparent, and expect them to be far, far worse, than anyone they demonize, practically always based on falsehoods, either. The gist:

A longtime internal policy that allowed Justice Department officials to deny the existence of sensitive information could become the law of the land — in effect a license to lie — if a newly proposed rule becomes federal regulation in the coming weeks.

The proposed rule directs federal law enforcement agencies, after personnel have determined that documents are too delicate to be released, to respond to Freedom of Information Act requests “as if the excluded records did not exist.”

Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice, says the move appears to be in direct conflict with the administration’s promise to be more open.

“Despite all the talk of transparency, I can’t think of what’s less transparent than saying a document does not exist, when in fact, it does,” Sekulow told Fox News.

Justice Department officials say the practice has been in effect for decades, dating back to a 1987 memo from then-Attorney General Edwin Meese.

In that memo, and subsequent similar internal documents, Justice Department staffers were advised that they could reply to certain FOIA requests as if the documents had never been created. That policy never became part of the law — or even codified as a federal regulation — and it was recently challenged in court.

Sekulow must like irony/sarcasm. It is not like this pattern where these crooks talked about doing one thing – the “better” thing – then did exactly the opposite, and took whatever they had such an issue with before, when they were accusing someone else of being a crook, to new levels, isn’t happening across the board. How many more “promises” were not just broken, but resulted in far more of the behavior they promised to do away with, by these people?

Me, I question the timing of this law. As things are heating up in the “Fast & Furious” investigation, the DOJ, which is front and center in what now clearly appears as a coordinated operation, run on foreign soil, and directed from up on high – all the way to the WH – which funneled weapons in violation of numerous US laws into the hands of drug cartel executioners, with no possible way of tracking these weapons, but a guarantee they would kill many, is looking for cover.

I hazard that they are worried that the LSM ignoring the story isn’t enough, and that they need a way to block FOIA requests from the alternative media which isn’t beholden to them, leading to the public finding out the WH directed them to run this operation, in such a way as to “create the evidence” they needed to back up their accusation that it was lax US gun laws that armed the cartels and caused all the mayhem and murder, and are looking for a way to legally hide the criminal activity. Won’t do much to block a congressional investigation, but it will give them time to hide this till after they are done destroying the country. Lets hope the stink over this rule change torpedoes the whole thing.

Gunrunner update: another prediction comes true

Which one is that? Well, the one where I pointed out that such a complicated multi-agency operation could simply not happen without the top people at the DOJ driving it, and the DOJ would not drive it without the WH telling them to, and now we find out that Holder at a minimum was informed of this in briefings as this link shows:

WASHINGTON – New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious operation as far back as July 2010. That directly contradicts his statement to Congress. On May 3, 2011, Holder told a Judiciary Committee hearing, “I’m not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.” Yet internal Justice Department documents show that at least ten months before that hearing, Holder began receiving frequent memos discussing Fast and Furious.

Let’s establish a few things. First off, you don’t get briefed unless you have oversight over a project or ask to be briefed because you are the initiator of a project. Holder was clearly briefed, and more than once too, on these operations according to the CBS findings, and the LA Times backs that up. It’s now obvious that the DOJ was running the show here, coordinating between all these agencies to make sure nobody stepped on the toes of other agencies and blew the cover of what they where doing up, and unless Holder is a rogue, I expect to find out he took his marching orders from someone even higher on the food chain.

Also as they point out in the article, we now know for sure Holder, unless he now will also claims he is suffering from memory loss – and how selective a memory loss this would be – was not telling the truth when he told the Judiciary Committee that he the first time he heard about operation Fast & Furious or any of these unbelievable gun running schemes was a few weeks before he was called to testify. Playing word games, these are democrat lawyers we are talking about after all here, by claiming the briefing used a different name for this operation, won’t fly IMO, but I bet that’s the next thing to drop. The history of the DOJ trying to obfuscate their involvement is evident, and fools no one anymore. From the article we get confirmation of that:

Ever since, the Justice Department has publicly tried to distance itself. But the new documents leave no doubt that high level Justice officials knew guns were being “walked.”

Two Justice Department officials mulled it over in an email exchange Oct. 18, 2010. “It’s a tricky case given the number of guns that have walked but is a significant set of prosecutions,” says Jason Weinstein, Deputy Assistant Attorney General of the Criminal Division. Deputy Chief of the National Gang Unit James Trusty replies “I’m not sure how much grief we get for ‘guns walking.’ It may be more like, “Finally they’re going after people who sent guns down there.”

Maybe they might want to prosecute the people at the ATF that encouraged and helped buy these weapons, by paying cash for them, after telling the concerned dealers they where using to ignore the fact the guns would be lost when they crossed the border, for this? Or the FBI for covering up the evidence at the Terry crime scene? I have a feeling they will turn on the very dealers that told them this was a real bad idea only to be told to leave the worry up to the ATF, and then just so they can have show trials that distract from their involvement. Don’t think so. So what’s next?

The Justice Department told CBS News that the officials in those emails were talking about a different case started before Eric Holder became Attorney General. And tonight they tell CBS News, Holder misunderstood that question from the committee – he did know about Fast and Furious – just not the details.

Ah! Blame Bush! Then play word games to try and wiggle out of what was clearly an attempt to lie to those investigating this. Issa is no fool. I hope that he lets this boondoggle drag on until next year, then right around April demand a special prosecutor and have this thing play out right during the elections. Exposing the role of the most ethical and transparent administration in an operation ran against a neighboring state to turn American public opinion against the second amendment, so big government collectivists could circumvent the defeats in the SCOTUS to their gun grabbing agenda, aught to play out well.

Sooner than later, Holder will go under the bus, but we will get more evidence the WH was behind this and I have no doubt that the trail will indubitably lead to Community Organizer in Chief. Now watch the same people that told me there was no way the DOJ and Holder had anything to do with this, let alone the WH, come on and tell me that even if it has borne out that Holder and the DOJ where involved, the WH is still clear. Proof or bust! Don’t worry. It’s coming, and then you will shift the goal posts yet again.

Roh roh, Shaggy. Issa wants special prosecutor to investigate Fast & Furious.

It now looks like operation “Fast & Furious”, the famous “Gunrunner” scheme that I pointed out long ago, when the facts started dribbling out, despite a concerted effort by the LSM to keep the story and the reason & role the 2nd Amendment haters the members of Team Obama behind it under wraps, was a run around to affect American public opinion and help the left roll back defeats to disarm the people at large, is panning out into a scandal for Team Obama, and an international one at it:

The stench from Washington is getting stronger. Rep. Darrell Issa has called for a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of the festering mess known as Operation Fast and Furious.

Hatched somewhere in the bowels of the Justice Department, that misbegotten scheme had the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives deliberately allowing high-powered guns to “walk” from Arizona and elsewhere into Mexico: Our agents turned a blind eye toward the straw purchasers who were funneling the weapons to the drug cartels.

The (dumb) idea was to trace cross-border arms trafficking, and so prove the (false) claim that 90 percent of the guns seized in Mexican drug war zones originate in the US. (The real figure is closer to 17 percent.) But, as Issa’s Oversight and Government Reform committee continues its investigation, that pretension has evaporated — and a major international scandal has been born.

Marisela Morales, the Mexican attorney general, estimates that at least 200 Mexicans have been killed with Fast and Furious weapons — among them, a powerful Barrett .50 caliber sniper rifle that took down a federal helicopter. Morales, who calls the program a “betrayal” of her country, told the Los Angeles Times that she first learned about Fast and Furious from news reports, and that US officials still haven’t briefed their Mexican counterparts on it.

More and more people are actually accepting the obvious conclusion, left when all other avenues that have been explored have lead to dead ends, that the sole remaining purpose for this operation was so the Obama administration could blame non-existing lax US gun policies for deaths in Mexico, as the blatantly false media campaign to convince people that 80% of the guns used in the drug wars there came from the US. This was being done so they could then demand they be allowed to add and enforce tighter controls that would violate 2nd Amendment rights that would otherwise never pass muster, in order to again take the lead in the fight to disarm the people, after their agenda recently suffered a humiliating defeat in the SCOTUS. This is obviously what Obama told us was under works to get them back in business on taking guns away from people during one of his speeches.

Attempts by the LSM to ignore the story and by the Obama Administration to avoid disclosing the facts have not succeeded in preventing us from learning the facts, and we are finally getting calls for a special investigation. As Holder and other higher ups behind this all now claim amnesia, frustrated officials in the Mexican government, whom it seems where not a willing participant as was first suspected, whom weren’t even briefed are themselves asking for answers. Maybe they should involve the criminal court in The Hague. I would love to see the left’s reaction to that one.

She shouldn’t feel lonely: The administration has been notably unforthcoming to everybody on this one. Eric Holder’s Justice has engaged in a rearguard battle against Issa’s committee — turning over subpoenaed documents only slowly and heavily redacted, making witnesses unavailable and transferring or retiring implicated officials such as former ATF head Kenneth Melson. Issa has publicly accused Holder & Co. of “gaming” congressional investigators.

Yet the drip, drip, drip of revelations continues. A third “Fast and Furious” gun has now been linked to the murder of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, whose death in Arizona last December at the hands of Mexican bandits started to crack the scandal open.

In addition to the ATF and the FBI, other agencies already implicated include the Drug Enforcement Administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the IRS. Other tidbits suggest involvement by higher-ups at the Department of Homeland Security and the White House itself.

It’s a scandal, and the stench seems to come from all the way to the top. And it’s going to be fun to watch the left now pretend there is nothing here or better yet, defend what now appears to be turning into a real international crime. How are they going to blame Bush? Can I say I told you so , already?

Another shoe drops…

The El Paso Times has this article dealing with a new accusation made, in court, by the defense for a Mr. Vicente Zambada-Niebla, who was extradited to the United States to face drug-trafficking charges in Chicago of all places, a top lieutenant in the Sinaloa cartel, that’s very disturbing. The accusation? Heck, let me just post the article and let you know what this lawyer is alleging that agents in employ of our federal government have basically done:

U.S. federal agents allegedly allowed the Sinaloa drug cartel to traffic several tons of cocaine into the United States in exchange for information about rival cartels, according to court documents filed in a U.S. federal court.

The allegations are part of the defense of Vicente Zambada-Niebla, who was extradited to the United States to face drug-trafficking charges in Chicago. He is also a top lieutenant of drug kingpin Joaquin “Chapo” Guzman and the son of Ismael “Mayo” Zambada-Garcia, believed to be the brains behind the Sinaloa cartel.

Now let me state that so far this is just a lawyer making the accusation in court, and not much more, but there is a lot of other information in this article that is quite pertinent to recent discussions about another such case involving federal agents engaging in what would amount to an grievous violation of their powers, in order to turn public opinion against the second amendment of our constitution – the right to bear arms against to protect oneself from a tyrannical government – which I found quite interesting.

The first of course is this revelation:

The case could prove to be a bombshell on par with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ “Operation Fast and Furious,” except that instead of U.S. guns being allowed to walk across the border, the Sinaloa cartel was allowed to bring drugs into the United States. Zambada-Niebla claims he was permitted to smuggle drugs from 2004 until his arrest in 2009.

If this turns out to be true it now shows a second operation where federal agents simply ignored precedent and law to further a goal. While not as harmful and frightening as your government running an operation so they could then create evidence to back their lies that the private US gun dealers seem to be the main suppliers of arms to the warring Mexican cartels just so they could sway public opinion in favor of their gun grabbing political agenda, it nevertheless shows a pattern of serious disregard for the security and safety of the American people. Again, if the story bears out, our government, in order to score a victory, allowed a Mexican cartel to sneak drugs into the US for information. Usually the left goes bullshit nuts when stuff like this is revealed, but then of course, it doesn’t get wide press coverage unless the news hurts non-democrats.

The government’s response to this allegation?

Randall Samborn, assistant U.S. attorney and spokesman for the Justice Department in Chicago, declined comment.

The court in Chicago had a status hearing on Wednesday and ordered the government to respond to allegations in Zambada-Niebla’s motion by Sept. 11.

I understand that. This guy simply might not know anything. I am certain that the people behind this – if it turns out to be true – wouldn’t advertise they did this, or, ever want to admit they did it. Let’s see how they respond.

However, what really intrigued me is the fact that this attorney doesn’t plan to just take the government’s likely answer that this didn’t happen at face value, but is expanding his probe to another real serious series of criminal acts by our feds, with full knowledge and consent for what was done going through the DOJ all the way up to the WH, for what now seems obviously done to sway public opinion and serve a dastardly political agenda.

Zambada-Niebla’s motion seeks U.S. government records about the 2003 Juárez case involving an informant who participated in several homicides for the Carrillo-Fuentes drug cartel, while under ICE’s supervision.

He also requested records about the ATF’s “Operation Fast and Furious,” which permitted weapons purchased illegally in the United States to be smuggled into Mexico, sometimes by paid U.S. informants and cartel leaders.

This is gonna be interesting. I wonder if Eric Holder will suddenly find a reason to declare this guy a terrorist and demand he be shipped to Gitmo and face a military tribunal so they can avoid the headache this would cause them. Of course, since Holder also guaranteed us that they would get a guilty verdict if they brought terrorists to non-military courts – something he could only do if the outcome was already predetermined, making the whole thing nothing but a sham and show trial – I am sure he wouldn’t have trouble “bending” the law to somehow make this all go away or be delayed forever.

Finally I wanted to point this little tidbit out, because it is relevant to a conversation discussing casualty counts because of operation “Fast & Furious”:

“It is estimated that approximately 3,000 people were killed in Mexico as a result of ‘Operation Fast and Furious,’ including law enforcement officers in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico, the headquarters of the Sinaloa cartel,” the court documents allege. “The Department of Justice’s leadership apparently saw this as an ingenious way of combating drug cartel activities.”

That’s a lot of dead people. Far more than a few hundred. I wonder where they got their numbers, but I am not surprised considering that this war has casualties in the double digits daily…
