All that wolf crying…

Is not really going to go anywhere, and that is because as many of us that saw the hysteria sans any evidence pointed out: it was all bullshit. There is no way that if this story even had an inkling of a chance of being true – based on evidence, that is, not the pipe dreams of a bunch of idiots with an agenda to deflect from the real issues – that we wouldn’t have been given the facts by now. The democrats play dirty. They care not a damn if they destroy the country if it keeps them in power, so if they had proof, that proof would already have been released by their operatives in the deep state bureaucracy.

This Russia thing was started as a distraction from the revelations of how corrupt the DNC and the Clinton campaign were, and it got legs after the people in the Obama administration that tapped the Trump campaign – to find dirt no doubt – started pretending there was something going on there. We now know that the democrat delusion and their knee jerk reaction after losing an election they felt certain they had already stolen, was all bullshit. Oh sure, they are still talking about Trump being a Russian stooge, despite the fact that unlike them he has been though with Russia and is pro fracking – something that impacts the economy of Russia which is mostly centered around the sale of oil and natural gas far more than anything we could do otherwise in a real negative way – because the objective here has from the start been to deligitimize his election in the eyes of the low information voter. The usual dnc operatives with bylines were more than happy to go along with the bullshit because they too wanted some magical event to give them president Hillary. After the attempts to coerce the electoral college, convince people that we should suddenly look at the popular vote and not the legal election, and a bunch of other madness (remember this doozy?) all went nowhere and the left was left unable to steal the election, they decided that they needed to undermine the presidency.

As I pointed out before, only to have our resident trolls all go batshit on me for daring to say so: nothing will hurt the left more than Trump being successful at rolling back the nanny state, firing up the economy, and doing foreign policy different than the cock suckery of the Obama years. Any success is damaging to that moron Obama’s legacy (and those that defended it), and more importantly, to the left’s dogma. The left wants to believe they are the experts. The only ones that know what is right and how to make things work. Note I said want to believe, because any observation quickly should dissuade anyone but the most partisan or stupid person from any such delusion. Hence that Krugnuts prediction about economic doom turns into real stories like this, this, and this. The people that grow wealth all feel that things are going to get better. Even the ones that spout idiotic leftist shit all the time.

And do you remember Obama telling us we couldn’t drill ourselves out of high gas prices? Well, despite his administration’s best efforts, it is precisely the drilling – well, fracking – done in the US and Canada, that has driven down the price of oil, while preventing hostile countries such as Iran, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and even that leftist tropical paradise of Venezuela from making like bandits at our expense. What about all that bullshit bracket filling during March madness? I sure as hell don’t miss that crap. And so on.

Anyway, back on topic. The left is desperate to make you believe only they are qualified to be in charge. hence this idiotic play to deligitimize the Trump presidency, of course for many of us it feels more like this. Me, I hope these morons keep at it. Be hysterical idiots. Throw tantrums and act all bitchy. Cry wolf. Sure low information voters might fall for it now, but more and more people are realizing what’s going on. The fact that the dnc operatives with bylines destroyed any credibility they might have had left alone is a major victory for freedom loving people. But the left refusing to accept their fantasy world has run into the real one, is priceless. This is gonna be great to watch. Pass the popcorn please.

Faster please!

Trump’s new proposed budget leaves no doubt he is reprioritizing government and downsizing it, which can’t happen fast enough for me, but has the chattering class and the nanny staters all in a tizzy, is out.

President Trump’s budget proposal this week would shake the federal government to its core if enacted, culling back numerous programs and expediting a historic contraction of the federal workforce.

This would be the first time the government has executed cuts of this magnitude — and all at once — since the drawdown following World War II, economists and budget analysts said.

The spending budget Trump is set to release Thursday will offer the clearest snapshot of his vision for the size and role of government. Aides say that the president sees a new Washington emerging from the budget process, one that prioritizes the military and homeland security while slashing many other areas, including housing, foreign assistance, environmental programs, public broadcasting and research. Simply put, government would be smaller and less involved in regulating life in America, with private companies and states playing a much bigger role.

The cuts Trump plans to propose this week are also expected to lead to layoffs among federal workers, changes that would be felt sharply in the Washington area. According to an economic analysis by Mark Zandi, chief economist for Moody’s Analytics, the reductions outlined so far by Trump’s advisers would reduce employment in the region by 1.8 percent and personal income by 3.5 percent, and lower home prices by 1.9 percent.

“These are not the kind of cuts that you can accommodate by tightening the belt one notch, by shaving a little bit off of a program, or by downsizing a few staff here or there,” said Robert Reischauer, a former director of the Congressional Budget Office. “These are cuts that would require a wholesale triage of a vast array of federal activities.”

All I hear is that he plans to roll back Leviathan, and then focus on government doing the things it is told are its responsibility in the constitution, but I am sure that the usual members of the vote-buying credentialed elite class, seeing their own lucrative scheme come under attack, will be howling in anger that this is happening. of course, I suspect – as the article points out – that Trump’s biggest challenge to get this done will come from the biggest bunch of freeloaders out there – congress:

Still, budget experts said it was unclear what the precise impact on many agencies might be because the departments could choose to implement reductions in a variety of ways.

Administration officials have also stressed that discussions are ongoing between budget officials and agencies, and that the size of the budget cuts remains fluid. Moreover, the cuts cannot take effect unless they are authorized by Congress, which could prove difficult. Lawmakers routinely rebuffed budget requests from President Barack Obama, leading instead to protracted negotiations between both sides.

Already, Democrats have vowed to fight Trump’s proposals, and some Republicans have also expressed unease at the size of the reductions.

The White House declined to comment publicly, but administration officials have signaled for weeks that large cuts will be part of the budget.

That the democrats – which have never seen either a government entity that is large enough or pisses away too much of the tax payer’s money on crap that adds no value but buy democrat politicians votes – would react to this plan like vampires would to holy water, holy symbols, or sunlight, was expected. But the added bonus here is that it will expose the democrat-light nanny staters in the republican establishment, for what they are. These politicians on the republican side need to stop acting like they care about fiscal responsibility and small government when they are no better than the democrats, and we need to know who they are so we can vote them out as well.

I hope he wins this fight and forces congress to show its hand. And I hope every budget that follows this one repeats the cycle. The best thing to prevent the current tyranny of the nanny state is a small government with little power outside of the duties the constitution allows it. A lot of our problems will fix themselves when you don’t have the political class, and an entire political party, selling favors with other people’s money.

BTW, for the people all confused by why suddenly after the democrats lost the election things like employment, consumer confidence, and future economic outlook are off the charts in positive territory, it is things like this that are driving that. People want less intrusive and abusive government, and most of us definitely want government out of the business of picking winners and losers.

Keep it up, please!

Lots of us going this way

Lots of us going this way

The establishment, and especially the sheep that want to virtue signal because they bought into what they deluded themselves was the right way of thinking, is pissed that the plebes have rebelled against the progressive nanny state, and are throwing a tantrum.

Thanks for disappointing me douchebags!

I was cautiously optimistic that the fake news media was finally delivering some good news when I encountered a WaPo article titled The State Department’s entire senior administrative team just resigned. I read the leading paragraph:

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s job running the State Department just got considerably more difficult. The entire senior level of management officials resigned Wednesday, part of an ongoing mass exodus of senior Foreign Service officers who don’t want to stick around for the Trump era.

Needless to say I was fist-pumping and downright ecstatic that what probably amounts to one of the most ineptly staffed and politicized US government agencies was shedding useless dreck, and that it was all happening without Trump needing to tell someone to show these people their walking papers. I was hoping more of these useless collectivist credentialed dead weights would follow suit and also walk. Things could only get better. I am sure my coworkers thought I had gone bananas when I let out a guffaw and followed it up with a load “MOAR PLEASE!”. I had a bounce in my step and was feeling awesome most of the day until I ran into this:

Fake News Again

Way to let me down people. I actually hope more people take after these idiots that did the American people a favor by leaving, not just at state, but across the board (high hopes for those at the DOJ and the IRS). It will be a great thing for this country to get rid of these leftist nanny stater shitbags. They are honestly doing the country a favor by quitting.

Of course, the leftists, as this WaPo piece clearly shows, are acting as if this is something catastrophic. In their minds – for some explainable reason – these credentialed elite never-do-wells somehow are important, even thought they fuck up everything constantly, and Armageddon is sure to follow if they are no longer there to fuck things up. Talk about really not getting what is happening. I can hope that the ones that are left stayed more because they are happy the nearly a decade of nutty shit is over, but with my luck these are just the smarter people there (not really a compliment either), and thus, unwilling to risk their cushy government teat sucking job. They are at least bright enough to admit odds are high that they couldn’t do any other kind of work except in academia (that is a derogatory comment for the slow people here).

Yeah, I am rubbing it in..

The other day, on one of the many threads that degenerate into people flinging poo and hoping it sticks to the wall about Trump, I made the argument that some of the people I had talked to admitted that the major reason the left is so unhinged about Trump was tied to an abject fear that after decades of abysmal and compounded failures of the implementation of a slew of progressive ideas, and the horrible turn of the last 8 years in particular, that Trump would swoop in, and be successful. Of course, the usual crowd immediately attacked me for this, pointing out that I needed to find different liberals to talk to. Some even went so far as to imply that maybe I was just making shit up. bear with me as I set this up.

Then again, I clearly remember how the left was eager to see Reagan implement his ideas, back when he won in the early eighties, expecting them to crash and burn. At the time convention was that piss poor economic performance – the stuff that later came to be known as the carter malaise – was a given. All because big government and central planning – by the ascending club of douchebag credentialed elites that went on to run western democracies today – was the only way to go forward. these smug know-it-alls where certain that the Keynesianism and massive government expansion & control were the only thing that would work, only to freak out when Reagan’s changes resulted in a huge boom and unprecedented growth. Of course, the democrat controlled congress reacted to that boom by desperately trying to control the messaging and by sending twice what they collected out of the booming economy. Reagan was forced to go along with that so he could both get his military build up (which is what spelled the demise of the USSR) and the things he knew would spur and keep continued growth.

The left learned a huge lesson from that mistake: allowing something other than their idiotic ideas to be implemented was a recipe for disaster. After Reagan, no one would ever be allowed to challenge the standard lefty dogma unopposed. The taxpayers being fleeced, and the American people in general, be damned. And they thought they had won that battle with Obama and the narrative from the DNC operatives with bylines that spent 8 years telling us we were in a great economy, one that was always just around the corner from taking off like a bat out of hell because of the genius of the credentialed elite in charge. Mountains of money were thrown at problems those elites told us they knew how to solve. When it didn’t happen, they blamed everyone else for the failures but their stupid ideas. Heck, we even had people that argued that the reason these idiotic half-baked ideas did not pan out was that not enough money had been funneled to democrat special interest, friends, operatives, and campaign coffers! And they thought enough people were lapping the shit up that despite the abysmal reality one of the most crooked and opportunistic people would end up elected to carry on that legacy. But then reality kicked them in the teeth.

As soon as Trump won, the left, already unhinged but until then wrapping their miasma in a veneer of legitimacy, went batshit crazy. Snowflakes that had been given participation trophies and had gobbled up the propaganda about the virtues of the nanny state and its supremacy, suddenly had no idea what to do with that. Like religious fanatics, assured of their dogma’s supremacy, and smug in their belief they are the smart ones because they believe the right things, suddenly getting that all challenged, these people have basically experienced an existential crisis. The urge is to deligitimize and to assure failure (like they did with Boosh too). The enemy must be defined and defeated.

So what does this have to do with my original comment at the start of this post? Well, it seems I am not alone in having those lib friends that want Trump to not succeed/ It looks like others have similar friends or are noticing that there is definitely that component of fear of success by Trump there. Nothing is more dangerous to the nanny staters than real world events which will clearly show that their ideology offers neither real answers nor solutions. Especially in this day and age where they have lost control of the messaging.

I wonder why…

Bloomberg is reporting this:

Optimism among America’s small businesses soared in December by the most since 1980 as expectations about the economy’s prospects improved dramatically in the aftermath of the presidential election.

The National Federation of Independent Business’s index jumped 7.4 points last month to 105.8, the highest since the end of 2004, from 98.4. While seven of the 10 components increased in December, 73 percent of the monthly advance was due to more upbeat views about the outlook for sales and the economy, the Washington-based group said.

The share of business owners who say now is a good time to expand is three times the average of the current expansion, according to the NFIB’s data. More companies also said they plan to increase investment and keep hiring, which reflects optimism surrounding President-elect Donald Trump’s plans of spurring the economy through deregulation, tax reform and infrastructure spending.

“We haven’t seen numbers like this in a long time,” Juanita Duggan, president and chief executive of the NFIB, said in a statement. “Small business is ready for a breakout, and that can only mean very good things for the U.S. economy. Business owners are feeling better about taking risks and making investments.”

The NFIB report was based on a survey of 619 small-business owners through Dec. 28. Small companies represent more than 99 percent of all U.S employers, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration. A small business is defined as an independent enterprise with no more than 500 employees.

What could the parallel with 1980 and today be? What changed? It feels like it is on the tip of my tongue and explains why a specific group of people is going batshit crazy right now. I bet the dnc operatives with bylines will do their best to ignore or downplay, and when forced to deal with it, blame racism of the American people and the greed of the entrepreneurial class.

UPDATE: In case it escapes you, things like the revelation in this article are precisely why the left has gone unhinged. Nothing is more dangerous and frightening to them and their narrative/agenda than things getting better. Especially since Trump – be it through action or inaction, deservedly or otherwise – gets credit. After all, even a mediocre Trump presidency will be better than what we have had, putting the last 8 years and the fake stories of how great things have been, in perspective.

UPDATE 2: As I posted in the comments people fucked over by decades of collectivist criminal rule, are wishing they had a Trump. Of course, those that need to pretend this isn’t something damning and a result of decades of failure of the globalist collectivist agenda/movement, are now deflecting by pointing out that butthurt leftists think this will give California the push it needs to secede or Hawaii the push to ask for independence. I laugh at this idiocy. These are the same people that promised to move to Canada if Trump won, and so far none of them are packing. I also want to stress how unpatriotic, un-American, and downright vile and subversive talk like this was when the turds though Clinton was a sure thing. Now, it’s the opposite. Double standards and lack of shame, something something.

The left is not just downright in denial, but going nuts and flirting with going violent. The refutation of their quasi-religious dogma, by people they look down on and hold the lowest of possible opinions of, of all things, has left them with an existential crisis. They thought after Obama’s win that it would only be team blue that would win elections going forward. After all, they were busy rigging the game to make it so. The shit they believe in, no matter that it always fails and ends in disaster, was the wave of the future. Their religion had defeated the infidels and their crazy belief that reality and the laws of economics, human nature, and physics couldn’t be bent by delusional beliefs, had not just been validated, but it was the global consensus! The right was dead. Collectivism had won. After 8 years of this shit and a world left in flames by the left and its policies, along comes a guy that is totally un-PC, plays by their rules, actually believes the shit Obama used to say about hope and change to just win elections, plans to act on making it so (by of all things rolling back the damage done by Obama), and couldn’t be brought low by the usual tactics and the cabal between the DNC and their operatives with bylines. They lose, and the trend seems to be global in movement. And it has unhinged them.

Trump, a guy I used to hold a so-so opinion of before the left clearly drove me into his camp, is an existential threat to them. They can’t let him succeed, because that would be even more of a validation that their shit is broke. It will now get ugly, and these people will try hard to pretend they hold the moral high ground (that’s why Trump is Hitler), but every time they open their mouth or act, more people see the light. Oh, how sweet the tears and pants shitting of the moronic!

Enjoy your well deserved retirement, sir!

I was saddened today to find out that one of the writers and great minds I most respect has decided to call it quits:

Even the best things come to an end. After enjoying a quarter of a century of writing this column for Creators Syndicate, I have decided to stop. Age 86 is well past the usual retirement age, so the question is not why I am quitting, but why I kept at it so long.

It was very fulfilling to be able to share my thoughts on the events unfolding around us, and to receive feedback from readers across the country – even if it was impossible to answer them all.

Being old-fashioned, I liked to know what the facts were before writing. That required not only a lot of research, it also required keeping up with what was being said in the media.

During a stay in Yosemite National Park last May, taking photos with a couple of my buddies, there were four consecutive days without seeing a newspaper or a television news program – and it felt wonderful. With the political news being so awful this year, it felt especially wonderful.

This made me decide to spend less time following politics and more time on my photography, adding more pictures to my website (www.tsowell.com).

Looking back over the years, as old-timers are apt to do, I see huge changes, both for the better and for the worse.

Sowell was a genius. I will miss reading him because he was brilliant and able to convey great thoughts with few words. The wisdom share by this man helped me breakdown and understand many of the things I intuitively knew where wrong with the direction the world was taking. His wisdom will be missed, especially in these times when the lunatics are pissed they are losing control of the asylum they have run into the ground and are acting out on it.

Let me leave you with one of my favorite quotes of his:

Ain't that the truth

Thank you for your wisdom sir.

What has Multiculturalism in Europe and the left’s open door policy so they can get votes wrought

Well, this sort of shit. The west can keep pretending that there is no war, but the enemy sure as hell is at war with us and our way of life. And contrary to the left’s belief that they can buy these people’s loyalty with lucre stolen from the productive and handed out by the government, reality is showing that this dog will have no problem biting the idiot master’s hands. You can pretend all you want that this isn’t war, but it is. The difference is that the Islamists know the way to win wars is precisely to target the weakest and kill them as brutally as possible, because war is about breaking the enemy’s will to fight. And they are winning. Expect the usual idiots to tell us why we should roll over and bear our throats and stomachs to the wolf, in the hopes that will calm and appease it.

You couldn’t make shit like this up..

Remember that activist that got all pissed at Trump for saying too many illegal immigrants were criminals, in particular rapists, a while back? No, well, here is a refresher. Guess what just happened to this dude? He just got charged with raping someone and tampering with evidence to conceal he had done that: an illegal alien to boot.

You may not be aware of it, but I am noticing that a ton of the predictions or comments made by people that were then excoriated by the left and their attack dogs in the media – Russia & China are dangerous, Obamacare is a disaster, Iran is playing us and what the Obama administration is doing about it is really scary, all this talk of rape on campus sure feels made up, Clinton is a lying crook, and something is definitely wrong with her medically, and so on – have not only panned out, but panned out so blatantly, that despite the DNC operatives with bylines’ attempt to disregard or even hide these stories, you couldn’t have missed them unless you wanted to. I am sure we will get hours and hours of coverage for this story like we do whenever the media hopes to convince you that the evil people that the left hate said or did something wrong. PSYCHE!

It’s almost as if reality is putting a major beatdown on these idiots and their fantasy world views and ideas. No, it isn’t almost like: it is! Reality is basically ripping the left’s narrative and agenda to shreds. You can’t change the laws of economics, of human nature, of mother nature, or physics, but these morons seem to think if the right people try, it somehow will happen. And they have the gall to make fun of people that believe in religion or other such items that others feel are fantasy. Heh!

I think it was Lord Melbourne that said: “What all the wise men promised has not happened, and what all the damned fools said would happen has come to pass.”

I wonder why… No I don’t: it is blatantly obvious

What am I talking about this revelation, which to me is old news. I lived through a large portion of the Cold War, and I can’t remember a time that things were worse than the last almost 8 years. China and Russia have gotten ballsy for the same reason North Korea and Iran have gotten ballsy: the idiots are in charge in the only country that kept the ambitions of dictators in check.

Now the US is practically a banana republic itself. One that has been undermined from within while its enemies where given special considerations. Nobody should be surprised another fucking democrat that was lauded as the world’s savior, but which had zero credentials or real ability to do anything but organize communities (read divisive shit to scare people that have been done nothing but wrong to still vote for his failed ideas), ended up leaving the world closer to a horrible apocalyptic war. Don’t take my word for it. And yet,…

Meh, not gonna go there. These idiots know the facts are against them but reality has never gotten in the way of leftists delusions. Learn Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian and even Farsi. It might be beneficial to anyone looking to survive, albeit in servitude, after Hillary finishes the job Obama started. Me, I am arming myself even more. I might as well go out in a blaze of glory when the shit hits the fan.
