Criminals protected by progressive ideology

As the IRS scandal is approaching a year of being ignored, with the LSM and the left pretending there was nothing despicably immoral and “pound me in the ass prison visit required for the people involved” illegal about it, a good site to keep updated is at taxprof’s blog. He has been on this thing, and considering how much he has put together nobody should be left with any doubt that the criminal organization now running the country, with the DOJ only enforcing the law to favor democrats, or connected high power democrats abusing their power for personal profit, I think it is due time we point out the latest IRS-capades:

The explosive discovery by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that its ranking Democratic member coordinated with the IRS to target True the Vote came as no surprise to its founder and president. She called it “the tip of a very ugly iceberg.”

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., the committee’s chairman, released emails earlier this week strongly suggesting that Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., was in direct communication with disgraced IRS supervisor Lois Lerner in an effort to target True the Vote’s non-profit application.

In an interview with Newsmax, Catherine Engelbrecht, president of True the Vote, a Texas-based conservative organization founded to combat election fraud, said this week’s disclosure gives proof to her earlier claims.

“I’m thrilled to see that these documents are seeing the light of day and my current hope is that we continue on in this discovery process because we’re only beginning to see what I believe is the tip of a very ugly iceberg,” she said.

Through her attorney, Cleta Mitchell, Engelbrecht filed a complaint in February alleging that Cummings was pushing an investigation against True the Vote. He called those charges “absolutely incorrect and untrue” at the time. The emails Issa released this week directly contradict that claim.

“Now we find out from these emails released that in fact our request for an investigation really is well placed because [Cummings] was, and his staff, they were having communications with the IRS about True the Vote,” Mitchell said in the joint Newsmax interview with her client.

Newsmax reported:

Mitchell said the similarities between questions asked of True the Vote by Cummings staffers and IRS officials at separate junctures strongly suggested inappropriate coordination between Cummings and the IRS. Engelbrecht said holding Cummings accountable is important, but the issue goes far beyond him.

The mountain of evidence that the Obama crime syndicate is abusing power is staggering, and yet, the media remains uninterested. Can you imagine a republican administration getting away with this, even if it was all made up by the LSM? It’s constant lies from Obama and Team Blue, and yet nary a peep from the supposed protectors of freedom. My bet is that the oligarchs that ran the fucking USSR wished they had a press this subservient and self policing back in the day. We live in the day that the best way to shield yourself against the backlash that should come from despicable, criminal activity, and rampant abuse of power, is to claim to be or be a progressive.

Obamacare update

The other day Black Jesus and the sycophants that follow him around looking for any chance to suckle his cock were all atwitter and telling us how the ACA had enrolled 7.1 million people – a number I think is fake as hell – doing their victory dance, and avoiding giving any details that would leave any reasonable person to conclude that this was all an attempt to put about a ton of lipstick on the ugliest fucking pig ever. Have no fear however, because even the cock sucking sycophants are finding that the evidence that Obamacare is a massive train wreck unable to suppress. Sebelius isn’t resigning: she is being thrown under the bus. She is the proverbial scapegoat. And the problem isn’t the stupid website: the whole idea behind the ACA, what it does and stands for, is a monumental disaster in the making, and that is not disputable. Let’s start with the first important point made:

Before we get to these studies, though, we should recognize why we need outside organizations to validate White House claims in the first place. The Department of Health and Human Services still has no way to quantify important data about those consumers signing up for health insurance through state and federal exchanges.

The WH produced numbers, in a vacuum, made claims they then expected us to take at face value, could not produce any details or proof to back their claims, and yet, the cock suckers in the media didn’t bother to push back on them. This train wreck is gathering speed, and the people that know it is going to plow into a station filled with people causing massive casualties, don’t give a rat’s ass, because they do not want to criticize Black Jesus or the left’s cultism. It’s not that the evidence isn’t out there or that we have not had ample time to find it;

More than six months after the initial rollout of Obamacare — and four years after the ACA’s passage — the systems designed by HHS still cannot determine basic and critical information about enrollments such as whether a premium payment has been made. Without a premium payment, a sign-up in the web portal does not mean coverage has been extended.

Furthermore, the systems were not designed to collect important demographic information such as pre-existing coverage, current health status, or even definite age ranges, even though the success of the Obamacare structure depends on getting previously uninsured healthy Americans locked into expensive comprehensive insurance.

Without the “young invincibles” providing new funding for risk pools that now have to cover older and less-healthy consumers under “community pricing” restrictions, premiums will escalate rapidly, forcing more consumers out of the system and triggering the dreaded “death spiral” for insurers.

In order to determine the scope of the celebration, then, we need outside surveys to give us an idea of the size and composition of the actual enrollment population in Obamacare. The first of the independent studies comes from the RAND Corporation, which studied the changes in the health insurance market between September 2013 – just before the rollout of the state exchanges – and the end of the open-enrollment period at the end of last month.

While the White House can claim credit for a net increase of 9.3 million insured and a lowered uninsured rate from 20.5 percent to 15.8 percent, the data provides a significantly different picture than that painted by President Obama and the ACA’s advocates.

Color me surprised. One thing this WH is exceedingly good at is deluding the low information voter and themselves, and this is such a case. Oh, I have no doubt that they know they are full of shit, but as I already mentioned, they need to keep pretending this thing is anything but the disaster it is in order to keep steamrolling us. The facts and data can be ignored, or even manipulated to pretend there is anything to celebrate about this disaster, but the facts speak for themselves;

First, a significant amount of this increase comes from Medicaid enrollments, not private insurance. Almost six million people enrolled in Medicaid, and earlier studies showed that a relatively small number of those came from the expansion built into the ACA; most of these would have been Medicaid-eligible prior to the reform.

Another 8.2 million more people enrolled in employer-provided health care, as 7.1 million left the “other” category and another 1.6 million left the individual insurance markets. Only 3.9 million actually enrolled in insurance plans through state or federal exchanges – not 7.1 million as claimed by Obama. That number falls far short of even the lowered expectations issued by HHS and the White House earlier this year.

Moreover, those who did enroll through the state exchanges didn’t provide the demographic lift and risk-pool support needed to prevent massive increases in either premiums or deductibles, or both, in the near future. Pharmacy benefit manager Express Scripts, which collected more data from insurers than HHS managed through its own exchanges, determined that the incoming enrollees require more medical attention than the previous risk pools, not less – which means that insurers will need to raise premiums even more than first thought.

Their new study shows, for instance, that the enrollees from state and federal exchanges have a 47 percent higher use of specialty medications than in commercial plans in general. “Increased volume for higher cost specialty drugs can have a significant impact on the cost burden for both plan sponsors and patients,” the report reminds readers. “Despite comprising less than 1 percent of all U.S. prescriptions,” the report continues, “specialty medications now account for more than a quarter of the country’s total pharmacy spend.”

The medications themselves show that the care costs will increase relative to the existing risk pools as well. The rate for HIV medications in Obamacare exchange plans is four times higher than in existing commercial plans. Medication prescriptions are 35 percent higher, and anti-seizure medication increases 27 percent. Ironically, the only category where exchange consumers have lower demand than commercial-plan customers is in contraception – the focus of a big political battle in the employer mandate.

As Express Scripts, which studied changes in pharmacy benefits concludes that the ACA has succeeded in getting coverage to consumers who need it. However, that comes at a high cost for those who had their existing coverage canceled and saw their premiums and deductibles skyrocket as a result of Obamacare. Furthermore, the number of those who gained coverage may be even smaller than the RAND study concluded.

Well DUH! My premiums have gone up, by double digit numbers, every year since this giant shit sandwich was in the making. This year they jumped by close to 20%. I now do have coverage for maternity care and gynecological services for my son and me though, so bonus I guess. My provider is selling his practice and looking at doing something else for a living: he simply isn’t interested in bleeding even more money and time to allow politicians to rig the system so they can make it worse for his patients. And I am not alone here. Sure, we hear the occasional claim from people that this thing has helped them, and while I don’t want to outright come out and say I find most people that claim this to be bullshitting, unless they fall into the category of people with preconditions or that were uninsurable, the fact remains that if there were more than a handful of these people we would be bombarded with coverage about how great this ACA ass rape was from the LSM. There isn’t enough lipstick on the planet to make this pig look sexy.

I guess my consolation is that amongst the people hurt the worst are some of the sycophants that voted for Black Jesus and thought they were so cool because they cared about those poor shlobs without coverage. They were all for free healthcare for everyone, an idiotic concept at its face, while they bought the lies that others would foot the bill. Now that they realize it butt fucks them just as hard too, they are all pissy about it. If there is justice in the universe, these people will be made to suffer long and hard for their stupidity. Nothing teaches liberal fools more than the real world. Now if we could only get this shit rolled back and someone could actually do something that did make healthcare better and more affordable, the universe would finally be just.

The left is doing battlespace preparation

Every once in a while you have some libtard that drops their guard and lets you know how stupid the warped way these fucks view the world really is. Case in point, Edward McClelland and his piece at Salon titled “Communism saved the American worker” where he starts off saying;

I miss the Soviet Union. I never visited the country during its 72 years of existence, and I didn’t much like what I read about it in late-Cold War newspapers and library copies of Soviet Life: the long queues for bread, the military parades presided over by impassive bemedaled field marshals, the kitschy tributes to dictators, the Olympians inflated by performance-enhancing drugs. Communism, with its denial of both God and the individual, never appealed to me as a way of life, and I doubt it was much good for the Russian worker, the Polish worker, the East German worker, or the Yugoslavian worker.

Yeah I miss the Soviet Union too. The gulags, the pogroms Stalin put in place that cost millions their lives, and the fact that these fucks never practiced what they preached, unless what they preached was mass murder and turning humans into slaves of the oligarchy running the state. And of course, lest we forget, there was the export of communism to the rest of the world, resulting in such festivals as Pol Pot murdering a third of his nation’s people, the Kims running a dynasty that has turned North Korea into longest lived prison state on the planet, or the reinvention of the Jihadist movement by the KGB.

Man do I miss the Soviet Union too. Fucking idiot. It’s not accidental that excuse making scumbags, in love with communism, like this idiot, always ignore the horror inflicted by communism. This ideology managed to murder over 100 million people and imprisoned billions, and the monsters running these slaughterhouses managed to pull this shit off in under a century. Of course, we always have the leftists pretend that the real evil and murderous lot was religion, and then, their focus is always on Christianity, never Islam, or for that matter any other religion, for a specific reason. When that fails to give them cover, they indubitably resort to pointing at fascism, which they managed to convince too many low information people was a right wing phenomenon. The fact of the matter is that fascism is just another side of the collectivist coin. Instead of the oligarchy pretending to represent the state actually having all the power, wealth, and the rest of the people amounting to nothing more than slaves of said oligarchy, as communism does, fascism hides the fact that the oligarchy holds onto the power and wealth while accommodating a larger class of privileged people whose access to power and wealth depend on remaining in the good graces of the oligarchy running the state.

The point is that you really have to ignore a lot of vileness and evil to pretend either of the collectivist ideologies that people have been made to suffer under have anything good to offer us. That includes the new hybrid incarnation of a kinder and gentler fascist system that the modern western world has been functioning under, while pretending to be under a capitalist system. More harm has been done in the name of good than anything else.

Communism was, however, fantastic for the American worker. It’s no coincidence that the golden age of American equality, that period from the 1940s to the 1970s when the gap between CEOs and employees hit its all-time low, was almost exactly coterminous with the Cold War. As any capitalist will tell you, competition is good for the marketplace. It forces businesses to create better products and more efficient services for consumers. The same is true for capitalism itself: as a means of raising the living standards of an entire society, it never functioned better than when it was forced to compete with a rival economic system.

Communism was not fantastic for the American worker: if anything, the argument can be made that it was fascism that was fantastic for the American worker of that time. After WWII, with the industrial capability of the rest of the world in rubble, the American worker lucked out like a bandit because America was the only industrialized nation able to put out the things the rest of the world demanded. It’s no coincidence that this advantage went away in the seventies, when other industrial powerhouses like Japan, Germany, South Korea, and several other minor players in Europe and Asia, finally rebuild their infrastructure and started competing in a space where the America, and consequently the American worker, had enjoyed a monopoly. But you can’t ever tell an idiot that has swallowed this nonsense that communism preaches ,cock and balls, all the way. And I said “preaches” because in practice, communism does exactly the opposite of what it promises.

Ask the workers that actually experienced the wonders of communism, or for that matter fascism, firsthand how well that bullshit the left is so enamored with paid off for them. No system that squashes the individual, under the pretense of helping the collective, while really benefiting a few credentialed elites, does anyone but said elites any good. That includes the crony capitalist cum fascist system we live in today. Our credentialed elite class keeps telling us they are doing things to help those less well off, but the damage their policies cause, while always enriching them in one form or another, can’t be disputed. Look at Obamacare if you need any proof of that.

Let’s be clear about one thing: Communism, while a useful foil for the careers of Joseph McCarthy and Richard Nixon, was never a threat to supplant capitalism here at home. There’s an instructive scene from the movie “Reds,” in which journalist Louise Bryant is defending the Bolshevik revolution to a U.S. Senate committee.

That was then, this is now. The only reason people like this feel comfortable saying nonsense like this is because they know damned well that low information voters don’t know McCarthy was vindicated after the fall of the USSR and that Nixon is a piker compared to Obama when it comes to criminal activity and abuse of power. There is no defense of communism. There is nothing good that came from it. And to pretend otherwise is idiotic.

Nikita Khrushchev and Leonid Brezhnev boasted of building a workers’ paradise in the U.S.S.R., but Americans actually lived in one: suburban houses and vacation cottages, a new car every two years, meat for dinner every night. One of our arguments against Communism was that it could not create wealth for the average worker, whereas capitalism could, and did. The United States also had to demonstrate that it was no longer guilty of the Gilded Age inequities that had made socialism look appealing even to Americans in the early 20th Century.

See how he skips Lenin and Stalin, as if they never existed? Those guys really helped the “workforce” by sending millions to their gulags, and eventually, to their graves. Khrushchev and Brezhnev were a lot better about it, but they too have lots of blood on their hand, and a lot of it is from non-Soviets. These two worked hard to export their cancer around the globe, and it killed a lot of people. And let us not forget that these fucks spread their disease across the globe. A lot of Asia, South and Central America, Africa, and Eastern Europe, all were seduced by the communist bullshit and billions were abused while millions perished, all for no real gain. It even managed to straddle the world that followed after the fall of the USSR with the radical Islamic movement. That movement was created by the KGB, with their first disciple, Arafat, pretending to appeal to religion and religious conviction to justify and commit the usual crimes the supposedly godless communists were also doing.

BTW, what I have always found is that socialism has looked appealing to anyone from oligarchy running the state to the bureaucrats that get their kicks from the power plays they can play, because it always allows all those types to do whatever they wanted under the guise of doing good. Socialism wouldn’t last long and be so popular, of course, without the bastards that are getting free shit, courtesy of other people, that keep the pretenders in power. Envy, jealousy, covetousness, all are powerful drivers to people that have been told that they deserve to get whatever they want just because they exist.

And I stress again that the American worker never profited because communism existed. That fallacy of an equivocation is idiotic. They prospered because the US had an unique advantage after WWII: its industrial capacity remained intact.

Few Americans did more to enrich the working class than Walter Reuther, the longtime president of the United Auto Workers.

The funny thing is that these union thugs are not much better than their corporate counterparts. Oh, the left loves to lionize these criminals and gangsters, but these fucks did far worse than the envied corporate overlords ever did or dreamed of doing. It’s blatantly obvious to me that the only reason the left remains in bed with the unions is because it has been such an effective engine at larding their campaign coffers and doing their dirty work. Even in this day and age, where the left likes to pretend the problem is capitalism, while ignoring that the problem is a system that has very little to do with capitalism other than the name crony capitalism, where big industry is deep in bed with the left, because they are easier to buy monopolistic privileges from.

BTW, how well has the UAW been doing for the American workers, huh? They, along with over 6 decades of a democratic lock on the politics of Detroit, managed to murder the golden goose. Things got so bad Obama had to use tax payer money to save his union buddies and the cash flow of so many democrats up in that area that depend on big union money to buy their elections.

To Reagan and his fellow ideologues, the Soviet Union had to go not just because it interfered with their designs abroad, but because its existence was an affront to the idea that there should be any check on the free market, anywhere. Previous Republican presidents had tolerated labor unions, because they understood that unionism was a practical alternative to socialism. To Reagan, that smacked of compromise with an ideology bent on undermining “freedom.” When the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization went on strike in 1981, Reagan fired the lot. His enemies called him hypocritical for supporting Poland’s labor-based Solidarity movement, while opposing unions at home. But Reagan saw no contradiction. Solidarity was fighting Communism. PATCO, the UAW, the steel workers and the Teamsters were fighting capitalism.

Wow, talk about your propagandist shit there. Reagan didn’t fire the Air Traffic Controllers because they were union and unions competing with capitalism so he wanted to bust them: he fired them because they violated the terms of their contract. Their strike was illegal. It was nothing but an attempt to hold people hostage for ludicrous demands, and he had warned them that he would not let that happen. Unions, which even the good old socialistic FDR said, should never be allowed near any government agency, had been abusing their power for decades when Reagan finally came along and put an end to it. They gambled that Reagan would cave, and lucky for those of us that had had enough of this shit, they lost.

The left would really love for people to believe Reagan was in the wrong for doing what he did and that he was an evil union busting bastard, but PATCO brought that shit on themselves. The UAW has practically destroyed the American Auto industry, and were it not for an unprecedented move by the Obama administration to bail out companies with tax payer cash while fucking over those company’s investors – which included many people with 401Ks and a lot of teachers – GM and Chrysler could very well be belly up today. Ford was smart enough to see the writing on the wall and bail on that shitcan of a deal. And lest you forget, the steel workers’ union basically killed that industry. Those are the indisputable facts. Unions destroyed the very goose that laid the golden eggs for the American worker. That’s what drove manufacturing out of the country too. And it is not coincidental that those few remaining manufacturing sectors that are still surviving are non-union.

Look, the unions had their day, and they were lucky that they had it during a period where America benefited from a unique situation likely to never come back again. Today the unions, especially the public unions, have become a huge problem for the American economy. They have been the one major factor that so much work has been offshored. Americans are not willing to pay premium dollar for basic commodities, so businesses have to keep these cost numbers down. That means they have to pay labor as little as possible unless said labor is worth the higher pay in productivity.

The places that most unions are currently entrenched are those where the labor is the least productive, costs too much, but is usually safe, because of some protection racket within government. These unions primarily serve to collect huge amounts of money in dues and to funnel a large share of that to the union bosses and the campaign coffers of democrats. The whole minimum wage war that Obama and the democrats are currently engaged in is nothing but a donkey tactic to boost the intake of these union mills so they can provide democrats with slush funding in what is ramping up to be a real bad election for democrats because of the damage caused by Obamacare fallout. More powerful unions will only serve to help elect leftist that will then do even more to wreck the economy than the unions and their demands would do on their own. What America needs is less of that shit and more people that will grow businesses so people can find jobs.

It’s about keeping power, baby!

Hal has a post dealing with the AG telling state AGs to enforce laws as they see fit in which several commenters pointed out that this was a terrible idea. Well, the reason it is terrible is simply that it leads to stuff like this:

The Obama administration is set to announce another major delay in implementing the Affordable Care Act, easing election pressure on Democrats.

As early as this week, according to two sources, the White House will announce a new directive allowing insurers to continue offering health plans that do not meet ObamaCare’s minimum coverage requirements.

Prolonging the “keep your plan” fix will avoid another wave of health policy cancellations otherwise expected this fall.
The cancellations would have created a firestorm for Democratic candidates in the last, crucial weeks before Election Day.

The White House is intent on protecting its allies in the Senate, where Democrats face a battle to keep control of the chamber.

“I don’t see how they could have a bunch of these announcements going out in September,” one consultant in the health insurance industry said. “Not when they’re trying to defend the Senate and keep their losses at a minimum in the House. This is not something to have out there right before the election.”

Have no doubt that when Holder tells the AGs to use their discretion, what he means is for them to let their political views taint their decisions. He is lying when he says otherwise, and the way he has run the DOJ and this WH has been doing things should leave zero doubt in anyone’s mind that is what is going on.

The left plays for keeps. They cheat, steal, and will kill to win, and they do not care whom they have to steamroll to stay in power. These narcissistic scumbags may pretend to be doing things for the people, but only a fool would believe their charade. It’s about their power: keeping and growing it.

At this point it will only be the most deluded and stupid of people that think Obamacare has any redeeming qualities to it. It is a giant “fuck you” to everyone, including the people it portends to be helping the most. The left knows it is a disaster and will do far more damage than any incidental good that will come from it, and the way they have manipulated the rules to avoid paying at the polls should make that abundantly clear.

We live in a banana republic where the powerful are screwing us all over while pretending to do things to help the least well off amongst us. The reality on the ground, that the rich are getting richer, the poor, poorer, and the number of people voting for a living rather than working for one, are getting bigger, gets downplayed, or outright ignored, by a lying DNC propaganda machine pretending to be an independent media. That’s the change Obama promised us. Those of you that didn’t see that coming are even bigger fools than you think you are now that you can no longer pretend otherwise. The left cares only about power, and the idiots that don’t see that are screwing us all over.

How America has fallen..

If you doubted the IRS scandal was real and that Obama and the democrats actually used the most feared, powerful, and dangerous US agency to target their political opposition, I have some more news for you. If you doubted that the NSA and the FBI were spying on us all and passing on information to the Obama administration and democrats to target their political enemies, I got some more news for you. If you doubted that the democrat machine was robbing the American tax payer blind to buy itself elections and cement it’s power permanently with crazy schemes like the legalization of millions of border jumpers, a fake healthcare reform system that does nothing but make things worse and more expensive, which really should be which should killed or constant assaults on 2nd amendment supported gun owners, I have some more news for you. If you piss them off you become an enemy of the state. The latest, and one that is sure to cement the banana republic label for good, was the move by the FCC to put “monitors” in news rooms. This was purely political and an assault on any press agency that would dare not walk the line the Obama administration and the democrats want the press to walk. Don’t just take my word for it:

Last week, FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai disclosed the existence of the FCC’s new “Multi-Market Study of Critical Information Needs,” a study that would send FCC researchers (monitors?) into newsrooms across the nation to determine, among other things, whether news organizations are meeting citizens “actual” as opposed to “perceived” information needs. As designed, the study empowers researchers to not only ask a series of questions of news staff, it also provides (in pages 10 and 11) advice for gaining access to employees even when broadcasters and their Human Resources refuse to provide confidential employee information. The Obama administration FCC is abusing its regulatory authority by attempting to discern the inner workings of American newsrooms.

And what will these FCC monitors ask when they do get access? Here’s the list of questions to station owners, managers, or HR:

• What is the news philosophy of the station?

• Who is your target audience?

• How do you define critical information that the community needs?

• How do you ensure the community gets this critical information?

• How much does community input influence news coverage decisions?

• What are the demographics of the news management staff (HR)?

• What are the demographics of the on air staff (HR)?

• What are the demographics of the news production staff (HR)?

And here’s the list of questions to on-air staff:

• What is the news philosophy of the station?

• How much news does your station air every day?

• Who decides which stories are covered?

• How much influence do you have in deciding which stories to cover?

• Have you ever suggested coverage of what you consider a story with critical information for your customers (viewers, listeners, readers) that was rejected by management?

o If so, can you give an example?

o What was the reason given for the decision?

o Why do you disagree?

Since when is a station’s “philosophy” or its inter-office disputes any of the federal government’s business? For that matter, how is the federal government qualified to determine what a citizen “needs” to know. Are citizens not qualified to make that determination themselves?

This is just shit you expect to hear in places like Cuba, Venezuela, China, North Korea, Iran, Russia, or other communist hell holes like the ones I mentioned or France. It is absolutely mindboggling to me that the media is just going along too. Sure, for now the people in charge and the fifth column seem to be united in purpose, but these fucking idiots that pretend to be part of the LSM seem to be immune to history. Did they miss the story about the people explaining how when the Nazis came for the Jews, gypsies, and other undesirables, they all just ignored it because they agreed or didn’t give a damn, but then when it was their turn, nobody was left to protest? And have no doubt that Obama and the donkeys would fuck over any reporter they would want to if they felt slighted. It happens it happens all the time. They have already done this to friendly ones that all but offered to fellate them for access.

America is truly changing as Obama promised, but lets not kid ourselves that it is anything for the worse.

Don’t be surprised: that was the plan from the getgo

Experts are now predicting that as many as 80 million people will lose coverage when the employer mandate of Obamacare goes into effect, and people are freaking out. There is a reason that this WH chose to specifically delay the employer mandate over the individual mandate, despite the fact that the individual mandate has turned into a massive catastrophe. That reason is simple:

Almost 80 million people with employer health plans could find their coverage canceled because they are not compliant with ObamaCare, several experts predicted. Their losses would be in addition to the millions who found their individual coverage cancelled for the same reason.

Stan Veuger of the American Enterprise Institute said that in addition to the individual cancellations, “at least half the people on employer plans would by 2014 start losing plans as well.” There are approximately 157 million employer health care policy holders.

Avik Roy of the Manhattan Institute added, “the administration estimated that approximately 78 million Americans with employer sponsored insurance would lose their existing coverage due to the Affordable Care Act.”

Last week, an analysis by the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank, showed the administration anticipates half to two-thirds of small businesses would have policies canceled or be compelled to send workers onto the ObamaCare exchanges. They predicted up to 100 million small and large business policies could be canceled next year.

I bet this number is low. Obamacare’s purpose, from the get go, was to destroy the existing system. The most important part of that drive to force us all into that unpopular single payer system the left wants. When so many companies, small business or otherwise, start dropping their employee coverage, it will create a snowball effect. To remain competitive every company in an industry will follow the lead of others. Obamacare’s employer mandate is the end of employer provided healthcare, and anyone saying otherwise is a fucking moron.

And buyer beware, because when the employers drop their coverage they will not raise your pay to balance this out. You are now going to have to pay that full amount for whatever system they force us all on, out of your own pocket, and you will do so on your current net take home pay. In my case I am losing an extra $16K my employer was paying annually for this coverage. I bet my new costs, if this system holds true and whatever replaces our existing system tries to again spread the misery to the productive, will be at least 50% higher than the total cost right now. So I am expecting that I will incur a $25K added annual cost to my current expenditures because of the left’s government healthcare takeover.

Thank you very much you fucking progtards.

You got it backwards woman..

Ophra recently took to the air to push the meme that people dis Obama because he is black. What a pile of shit. Obama has gotten away with murder because he is black. I for one admit that I am super careful what i say about him precisely because I want to avoid having people be able to ignore the argument on its merits and accuse me of being a racist. There are countless others like me out there. If Obama was white, I would never show the restraint I do now discussing how fucking incompetent he is. The fact of the matter is that the left has banked on Obama’s race as a means to avoid havign to explain or take responsibility for their failures. Ophra is just helping get more of that feigned indignation thing going.

I know what they know!

CNBC has a post up titled “What do millionaires know that we don’t? Optimism hits high“. I am sure they are trying to imply that the millionaires think that things are about to get better, like the morons in the LSMS have been pretending for the last 5 years, but they have it wrong. These millionaires are optimistic because they have been raking it in under Obama, man of the people, and they expect to do even more of that as the age of crony government controlled capitalism continues. The great class warrior and his fellow travelers have managed to make the rich richer, and the number of poor far larger, and yet, the morons pretend this is the party that cares about “social justice” and the downtrodden. Heh!

If evil Boosh was president…

You can bet your ass that the LSM would be screaming about how the government was a bunch of fascists, especially because of revelations like this:

Lawmakers charged with merging the House and Senate versions of the National Defense Authorization Act decided on Tuesday to drop a provision that would have explicitly barred the military from holding American citizens and permanent residents in indefinite detention without trial as terrorism suspects, according to Congressional staff members familiar with the negotiations.

The White House has threatened to veto the bill over several provisions that the conference committee kept. But it was not clear whether President Obama will do so; in previous years he made similar threats only to sign it anyway, in part because lawmakers can attach identical provisions to spending bills that are difficult to veto.

My bet is the people at the WH are content that this one provision was dropped, and pissed some of the other provisions they don’t like because these provisions interfere wit this WH’s desire to do whatever they want, whenever they want to, were not. One of the provisions that pisses off Obama is about Gitmo:

Among the provisions to which Mr. Obama has objected is the extension, by one year, of prohibitions on the transfer of detainees out of the military prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. Those include a ban on bringing them into the United States and limits on sending them to nations where there are security concerns. Most of the remaining 166 detainees are from troubled places like Yemen.

Looks like the idiot lawyers in the WH still think terrorists should go through regular criminal courts and be housed with common criminals, on US soil. I am not sure what we have to worry about any of that. Holder guaranteed us convictions, after all! The nYT seems to agree with the WH on this, and be quite nonchalant about the fact that they can now hold people indefinitely. This sort of shit is only a problem when the people in charge are not collectivists. We all know collectivists are enlightened and always do the right thing.

After healthcare, your savings, food, and security

I guess the best way to get everyone to want to keep around a failing government run Ponzi scheme, is to make any other kind of investment vehicle unattractive. Qeueue the idea that 401Ks should be taxed pre use. Not to mention that once government can raid them through taxes, they also find ways to justify doing what Europeans are talking about or doing to their private investment retirement vehicles – nationalizing these investment vehicles so the government can raid the big cash in them – with a lot more ease.

Just like with healthcare, if you make the system too top heavy, expensive, and unviable, you can get rid of it and have government run it all. It really isn’t a coincidence that they are going after these things. Between healthcare and private retirement vehicles, the government could grab control of trillions of new dollars. And after all, the plan is to control people through their access to this stuff. It is not a coincidence that they are also going after control of what you eat, either.

This is not accidental. And to make sure we all stay well behaved,
they are getting moar dronz! Luckily, some of us get what they are doing. If one was religious shit like this would frighten us. They are a cult.
