If you didn’t know that it was pretend, then stuff like this should clarify it

Never forget that the left is about tyranny. Sure they love to pretend to like democracy, but that is when things go their way. As soon as that doesn’t happen, then you get stuff like this (which was previously titled like this):

Since British voters elected on Thursday to leave the European Union, signs have quickly emerged of the flaws in holding a referendum on such a messy, massive, far-reaching decision.

Politicians responsible for explaining what’s at stake have admitted they may have fudged some of the consequences. Nigel Farage, leader of the U.K. Independence Party, acknowledged Friday merely an hour after the election was called that one of the Leave campaign’s key promises to voters was inaccurate. Brexit backers pledged that money the U.K. currently sends to the E.U. — supposedly £350 million ($462 million) a week — would go to the country’s national health system instead. Former London mayor Boris Johnson even drove around Britain in a bus blaring that message.

On Friday, Farage called that claim a “mistake.” (Kudos to the incredulous TV reporter who then followed up: “Do you think there are other things people will wake up this morning and find out aren’t going to happen as a result of voting this way?”)

Oh, the article goes on to pretend these scumbag tyrannical leftists have a good reason to say that in general the unwashed masses that these masters are sure are not as smart as they are (reference here, shouldn’t be allowed to make choices the globalist leftist movement doesn’t like, but that’s bullshit. Most of the negative consequences we are seeing to this exit vote are simply retaliatory measures by pissed nanny staters that want to punish the plebes for daring to defy their aristocracy’s hold on power.

The grand message here by the political aristocracy and their scumbag lackeys in the media is that these plebes that voted “No” know not what’s better for them, unlike the political globalist masters. You fucking inbred morons are motivated by the usual nefarious reasons – racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, and so on – while they, the enlightened masters, see beyond all that. The fact that the voters point out they basically decided these masters had gotten too corrupt and felt no accountability to the people they represented is just pap. Democracy is doing what the marxist-globalist left wants. Don’t take my word for it:

All of this was, perhaps, predictable, as some political scientists and historians have warned that a simple yes-or-no public referendum can be a terrible way to make a decision with such complex repercussions. The process looks like direct democracy in its purest form, and it was celebrated as such by many Leave campaigners after the vote. But David A. Bell, a Princeton historian writing in The New Republic four years ago as Greece was preparing for a referendum on its bailout, argues that the result of referendums is much more often anti-democratic.

Methinks these people don’t realize the actual meaning of what the word democracy means. It simply is the rule of the masses, the decision they make being good or not according to whomever, having no impact on that choice. Democracy can be just as tyrannical as anything else, but never as tyrannical as what a ruling class that holds disdain for the people it rules and simply makes decisions that primarily benefit that ruling class way too often at the expense of the masses, which is why the forefathers of the US opted for a Representative Republic. Making a choice that the marxist-globalist left dislikes, for whatever reason and irrespective of whatever justification that the anyone would want to present as justification for claiming otherwise, doesn’t make that vote undemocratic as these mouth pieces of the tyrannical leftist cabal want you to believe. If they had “miscounted” the vote, like they did or continue to do in the greatest bastions of practical implementations of the systems of government favored by the left, or just outright disregarded the outcome of such a vote, which is exactly what I see the anti-brexit types are planning to do, then we would have something that is undemocratic.

The whole feel of this idiotic article is that the people that voted against what their masters and betters want, just don’t know what’s good for them. And the orchestrated campaign to cause as much pain as possible to all, the intended consequence being to make sure that nobody does anything like this again, as well as the call for a do-over are really what one could potentially label undemocratic. Basically we have another famous “Too big to fail” moment, like we had back in 2008, when the wholly rotten and totally broken US homeownership lending industry regulated to push perverse incentives that defied the laws of economics and human nature, going on here too. Do not defy the masters in Brussels and their plans, or else.

The globalists have corrupted the idea of a globalized planet brought together by economic and human interest by creating bloated beasts that rob the people of their freedoms and simply serve to enrich the political masters and the few they allow to come along, and are screwing us all over. People shouldn’t be deciding things simply on how much free shit the masters promise them, always shit taken from others, and those that are being fleeced shouldn’t be villainized when they point out that their masters have not just failed them, but are ripping them off and fucking them over. Have no doubt that this vote, despite of the stories being told now, was one to protest the disconnected masters and the fact that they no longer even care to pretend they hold the very people they are supposed to be serving in contempt. And this rebellion against their will and direction, by what these masters see as uneducated morons that are beneath them, is what pisses these scumbags in power the most.

Here cometh the next dark age?

As someone that has always been fascinated by history and the fact that humanity never learns the lessons of the past and seems doomed to repeat the same mistakes, I admit that I have been feeling, for a while now, that the people in charge of this country in particular, but the western nations in general, have been taken us into a direction that will have serious and far reaching negative global implications. When you articulate this, especially to the believers of our credentialed new political aristocracy and the left in general, you get lambasted as someone that must have some kind of vile reasons for opposing the destruction they are inflicting with their failed ideology, and ideology that seems to remain immune to the consequences and results of the failed and often horribly failed policies it keeps engendering. To the true believers amongst that bunch what counts are the feeling and their intentions, and never the results.

To those that simply take advantage of the stupidity and naivete of the true believers, the only results that count are the ones that allow them to get more power and steal more from the productive. So when you find someone that waxes eloquently about this prescient and relevant, it is a good thing and a breath of fresh air, albeit one I suspect will fall on deaf ears of the collectivists and their agenda. Jakub Grygiel at the American Interests has a great piece titled “The Stages of Grief at the Frontier“. I recommend you read the whole thing, but here is his conclusion, and it is an important warning:

Severinus’s story parallels our times (with all the necessary caveats). The stages of geopolitical grief are not as vivid today as in this story, but doubts are growing about the resilience of U.S. power and Washington’s commitment (under the current Administration or future ones) to allies. As U.S. power retrenches or is questioned, the frontier regions then experiences a series of adjustments. Insouciance about how security arises gives way to shock and panic when the security provider vanishes; then, self-delusion follows, as people convince themselves that security will sustain itself or that the threat is not real; and finally, if lucky to be fortified by a firm belief in something more than material goods or the satisfaction of one’s own transient preferences, the polity may find a reason to defend itself. The West may be going through all three stages at the same time, as many seem to put faith in the automatic harmony of international relations, do not necessarily believe in the dangerous nature of geopolitical competition with assertive rivals, and—perhaps most worrisome, and different from Severinus’s tale—do not seem to find a strong reason to devote resources to sustain the order from which they benefit.

Many people don’t realize it, but the fall of the Roman Empire in Europe led to centuries of brutal chaos and repression as the entity that provided order, albeit through its own use of force, evaporated. Whatever prosperity, wealth, and knowledge had been created all but disappeared as people reverted to savage behavior and basically resorted to fighting over an ever dwindling pool of resources and wealth. It took over a millennium for things to start righting themselves, and even after that, we had far more darkness than light until the twentieth century and another series of empires produced the stability and conditions for those that create (and for you collectivists that creation is never by government because the only thing government can provide is a system that delivers stability, with clear rules that apply to all, and government then stays out of the way of their people) to be able to bring us prosperity.

I can talk about this till I am blue in the face, but the thing has been beaten to death, so i will leave you with a quote from someone I think said it just right:

“Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.”

― Robert A. Heinlein

Get ready for the dark times. I am sure the collectivists will tell us it was not their fault because they meant well. According to them Nirvana on earth is just a question of time, but every time they have tried it we end up with something horrible and the collectivists telling us that things went wrong because the wrong people were in charge and/or it was implemented incorrectly. Their idiotic belief that they can override human nature, the laws of economics, and reality to have us all act like an insect colony be damned.

Pro-collectivist media can’t avoid making exuses

It came as no surprise to me that after a decade plus of favorable pro-collectivist media coverage of shit-holes that took hard left turns we found out Venezuela was following in the footsteps of illustrious collectivist success stories like Cuba, North Korea, or Zimbabwe. What is less known is that the other South American country that had also taken a hard left turn and was touted as a great success story, Brazil, is also heading in the same direction now that blatant corruption and mismanagement practices have come to the world’s attention.

As is always the case with progressive governments, the pretense that the shit they do is to help the less fortunate is just that: pretense. What they are really doing is creating a system that will allow the political aristocracy and those few lucky enough to be connected to them, to rob the people blind. The new masters tend to be worse than the old ones, and while they can temporarily hide the rot, eventually economic and human nature reality asserts itself. Big and powerful government, especially one that has successfully disarmed the masses and then pretends their wealth transfer schemes are to help the less fortunate, sooner than later results in abused people. Yeah, I know that this piece specifically was written about the Arab world, but the article does speak of other corruption failures in general. The problem with people that advocate for collectivism is the fact that they seem to miss that corruption is the norm, and having little or none of it, is actually an outlier. And the bigger an autocratic government that abrogates the duty of creating economic justice becomes, both in terms of actual size and the amount of money it now forces through its hands, the more corruption you will get.

For example, take China, which is still run by an authoritarian government that decided not to stick to the letter of marxist dogma. While the Wiki article tries its best to show how fucked up China is because of this corruption, it, because of the bias of the Wiki organization in general, does a lot to apologize and conceal that the problem there is the authoritarian and collectivist system that creates the framework that allows this corruption. When your government is all powerful and has its hands in everything, you can bet it will result in abuse and corruption by the very elite put in charge. Pick your country, check out how authoritative and big their government is, then look at how much wealth redistribution power said government has, and you will find corruption.

But back to what I wanted to point out: AP writing an article that tries hard to not tie the corruption now evident to the ideology or failures in Brazil. From the article:

Brazil’s Senate voted on Thursday to put leftist President Dilma Rousseff on trial in a historic decision brought on by a deep recession and a corruption scandal that will now confront her successor, Vice President Michel Temer.

With Rousseff to be suspended during the Senate trial for allegedly breaking budget rules, the centrist Temer will take the helm of a country that again finds itself mired in political and economic volatility after a recent decade of prosperity.

The 55-22 vote ends more than 13 years of rule by the left-wing Workers Party, which rose from Brazil’s labor movement and helped pull millions of people out of poverty before seeing many of its leaders tainted by corruption investigations.

My interpretation of this nonsense is that it almost sounds like AP is trying hard to tell readers we should give the corrupt officials a pass because they meant well. After all, they helped the poor people! I constantly see MSM stories saying how well off people in Brazil have it because of the wealth redistribution schemes of the leftists, but when I look the stuff that sticks with me is the rampant crime, the fact that economic promises are not materializing, and how despite the claims that the poor are better off, I see very few things that really show that to be the case. Especially when you look at the future. That’s not just me however, as this verya rticle points out:

In addition to the gaping deficit, equal to more than 10 percent of its annual economic output, Brazil is suffering from rising unemployment, plummeting investment and a projected economic contraction of more than 3 percent this year.

Basically the Brazilian success story was to borrow and print money, over spend, and put polities in practice that drastically hamper economic growth and result in rampant unemployment. Shit they are even looking at an economic contraction. Does this not sound kind of like the Obama economic plan to spend us out of a recession and even into prosperity? Don’t worry though, because the PA tells us people are on top of the crisis;

“Only major reforms can keep Brazil from moving from crisis to crisis,” says Eduardo Giannetti da Fonseca, an economist and author in São Paulo who has written extensively about the country’s socioeconomic problems.

While I am not very familiar with this individual, the fact that he is the one AP chose to quote tells me this guy is very likely to be the Brazilian Paul Krugman, whose usual retort when confronted with the failures of Keynesian wealth transfer schemes, advises that the the problem was not the fact that borrowing/printing more money/spending money you don’t have can’t buy your prosperity, but that government didn’t borrow/print/spend enough money. This shit doesn’t work. It never has, and never will, but the collectivist driven media still wants you to have faith in this crap. This AP article sure goes a long way to try and avoid making the point that these leftist SJW wealth redistribution policies failed Brazil despite the temporary bump they produced obvious.

Another tidbit from the article that I found interesting was the following:

Brazilian markets have for weeks rallied as investors welcomed the likely dismissal of a president they believe crippled the economy, but were largely unchanged on Wednesday.

Note that the AP avoids saying why investors felt Rousseff crippled the economy. One could come away thinking the only problem was the endemic corruption, but the fact is that this was just one of the symptoms of the real problem: the Keynesian economic practices leftists resort to in times of trouble to hide the problems caused by their wealth transfer schemes. Brazil is on the same path as Venezuela right now, only it might be slower to reach the end state because they didn’t choose to have a dictator hold all the power like the Venezuelan’s did. This shit don’t work people.

This is what Bernie’s America will end up looking like

Despite the fact that it looks like the ‘gimme free shit party’ is not doing well with voter turnout, there are a lot of people that are backing donkey candidate Bernie Sanders, a man that never held a real job in his life (his first full time job was one working in government and happened when he was 40), and whom seems angry at the world because he never got what he feels he was due. Like Obama, the community organizer, and for that matter that criminal Clinton, Bernie is a man of no real accomplishments, but at least unlike Obama and Hillary, he seems to not be a down right crime syndicate boss.

I suspect a lot of Bernie’s backers are donkeys that have some conscience and simply can’t make themselves vote for that criminal Clinton. But then, there are many people that are true believers in the wealth redistribution bullshit Bernie peddles too, despite the historical evidence that this shit always ends badly for the people that put it in practice. Collectivism doesn’t work when it goes beyond the family unit, and the reason is very simple, even if the people that espouse it don’t want to admit it: the jealousy and greed that makes this philosophy that advocates taking from others attractive also blinds the followers to the fact that the leaders that promise to do this for them simply are looking to replace the existing haves, and will not really worry much about the “have nots” once they do so. From the USSR, to communist China to North Korea, Cuba or any other of the failed shit, it always ends bad. Sure the marxist backing Bernie will point to Europe, and especially Sweden, as their models, but they are not being honest when they do so. Europe, because of the wealth and mediocre collectivist leadership it has had, has not yet completed the full transition to what always comes from this dark ideology.

Want a look at the end result? Well, take a good look at what is happening in Venezuela or for that matter to Brazil, yeah Brazil, countries that have let this ideology run its course. One went super totalitarian, while the other is almost there. Shit, keep an eye on our neighbor to the north. I have a feeling they are going to be doing some real stupid shit that will hurt them real bad in the next few years, all in the name of social justice or whatever. And Europe, unfortunately for the Europeans, because of the corruption in Brussels and despite the many changes being made to delay the inevitable, will run out of other people’s money sooner than later, as well. Of course this will not dissuade people that feel they have a right to what others have – especially when they justify that right by claiming the others got what they have through nefarious means – from feeling that they will go along as long as the getting is good. To them having the whole thing burn down seems like justice, I guess.

Unexpectedly: Shitty collectivist plan to destroy US healthcare to screw over users

Color me totally unsurprised that the pile of bullshit democrats told us had to be passed so we could see how it would fix all healthcare problems, and most importantly provide care to everyone while at the same time reducing costs, is going to fuck everyone over yet again in the coming year. From the article:

Amid rising drug and health care costs and roiling market dynamics, the spokesperson for the nation’s health insurers is predicting substantial increases next year in Obamacare premiums and related costs.

Without venturing a specific percentage increase, Marilyn Tavenner, the president and CEO of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), said in an interview with Morning Consult that the culmination of market shifts and rising health care costs will force stark increases in health insurance rates in the coming year.

“I’ve been asked, what are the premiums going to look like?” she said. “I don’t know because it also varies by state, market, even within markets. But I think the overall trend is going to be higher than we saw previous years. That’s my big prediction.”

If Tavenner is right, Obamacare will jump dramatically—last year’s premium for the popular silver-level plan surged 11 percent on average. Although Tavenner didn’t mention deductibles, in 2016, some states saw jumps of 76 percent, while the average deductible for a 27-year-old male on a silver plan was 8 percent.

The warning to consumers from Tavenner, the former administration official who headed the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and oversaw the disastrous launch of HealthCare.gov, the Obamacare website, comes at a time of growing uncertainty about the evolving makeup of the Obamacare health insurance market. With many insurers struggling to find profitability in the program, the collapse of nearly half of the 23 Obamacare insurance co-ops and this week’s announcement that giant UnitedHealth Group intends to pull out of most Obamacare markets across the country, anticipating future premiums and copayments is largely risky guesswork.

I may not be an economist, but I find none of these revelations to be anything other than what we should have expected. Since I remain unburdened by the idiotic collectivist notion that human nature and the laws of economics can be bent by the will of people that remain unfazed by reality, I had no problem seeing that nobody could ever deliver BOTH “free healthcare” to everyone – especially people with serious illnesses, AND somehow magically reduce costs. And with the information we quickly found about Obamacare’s setup after Pelosi rammed this shit sandwich down our collective throats, it should have been blatantly obvious that was by design.

First off, let me point out that it should be obvious to everyone that while the argument can be made that the democrats have not delivered what they promised, they did deliver what they wanted: a boondoggle so unworkable and broken, that it would collapse the US healthcare after making the whole thing too expensive and too cumbersome to work, allowing them to then force an ultra-expensive, mediocre (if we are lucky) and government controlled, single-payer system on us that would never fly otherwise. By these measurements Obamacare is a stunning success.

What baffles me however is how all these idiotic insurance companies that do have to live and work in the real world went along with this nonsense. I remember reading in one of the many articles about insurers now coming to their senses and pulling out of this monstrosity after suffering crippling loses that the insurers in question actually thought they could make this work. Seriously? These people that had to deal with reality, real economics, and real people all decided to believe the idiotic notion that somehow if government took this shit over it could through coercion and force incentivize behavior that was contrary to what individuals would see was in their own best interest?

I mean I can expect this level of idiocy from collectivist twits, and I admit that I greatly enjoyed the tears and clothes rending that followed their realization that their moronic belief that some other people – the evil rich – would end up footing the bill, was totally wrong as their premiums went up and the level of service from their existing plans went down (that is, if they even got to keep that plan). But seeing so many insurance providers with years of actuarial information that showed this shit never works, not just reluctantly going along with the corrupt and crooked democrats on this, but actually exuberantly advocating for Obamacare, vexed me greatly. I did a double-back and even had to ask myself if I missing something they saw. Could this collectivist miasma actually be something that could be made to work?

Lucky for me, the laws of economics, human nature, and reality prevail, as the fact that this thing is imploding, clearly shows. But definitely unluckily for every American tax payer and consumers of the pre-Obamacare healthcare system, the fast trip to the implosion of healthcare system that delivered great quality care despite the fact socialist assholes rated it low because to them healthcare was only great when it was below sub-par in quality and “supposedly free” for the masses, has sped up. What we had was not perfect, and there were some simple and actually not that costly steps that could have been taken to address the real main concerns (catastrophic financial results from unexpected costly medical conditions), but it was blatantly obvious that what the democrats did was going to hurt, not help. And at the risk of being pedantic, I say, again, that was by design.

Things are going to get worse before they get much, much worse. But hey, SJW will love the fact unaccountable and faceless government bureaucrats with serious personal issues and their own political agendas – like the ones running the VA system into the ground – will now call the life & death shots for all of us, instead of the evil corporate entities that were making profits! don’t be surprised that like happens in every collectivist hell-hole with this sort of system, we end up with a two tiered system that leaves the serfs woefully under served, but provides much better care for the elite. Like that system in Cuba we are always being told is so wonderful by your marxist cocksucker types.

This is working out well…

In case you don’t live in the US, today is tax day. If you are like me, you set it up so Uncle Sam takes the least amount possible during the year from your paycheck, and after you do your taxes, sent these parasites a check for whatever you owe them. Unlike most of the people that tell you our system is unfair because others are doing better than them, I can actually control my spending and even do a bit of saving. I know how to make my money work better for me and don’t need to use government as a savings plan to make sure I don’t blow my cash on blow, booze, and bitchez. That whole thing about if we magically managed to redistribute the world’s wealth equally today, by the end of the month, with so few exceptions we can drop them as statistical noise, we would be back exactly where we started, with the same people complaining about how the system is rigged against them and looking for a handout. But that’s not what this piece is about.

I actually wanted to point out a major flaw in our system. When you have almost half of the people in your country not paying federal taxes or ending up with an effective marginal rate of zero or lower, and they get to vote, these people will never have a problem with the rest of us getting soaked by the crooks in DC, which continue to collect record amounts of money, despite most people predicting that things are heading south. Yeah, I know we have been told by a complicit and completely owned subsidiary of the DNC that masquerades as the media that we have been in an economic recovery, for 8 years now since Obama took over, but those of us actually working don’t see any of that recovery, and actually see things getting worse.

The thing is that we have 2 candidates, both in the same party, telling us DC should be taking even more money from the productive so they can increase the number of people sucking at the government teat. Shit, one of them has dropped any pretense of reality, and is promising $18 trillion in new entitlements and government handouts. My favorite one is free college. We get told that college has now become a necessity for people to qualify for better jobs, and thus, college should now be treated like so many other things the left wants us to now take as obligations of the productive to pay for the masses to have. I have yet to get any of the “free college” morons to explain to me why I should expect this to not result in college educations turning into even bigger wastes of money and time than they have become today. After all, we already have a government run free K-12 education system, and nobody that has a modicum of honesty and scruples, believes this system has been anything but an abysmal failure. It used to suffice to finish high school to actually be qualified for good employment. Then government took that over and dumbed it down so the failure of the unionized but well connected education establishment could avoid owning the miasma they created, and we all know how many people now leave high school without having met even the lowest of standards to show they actually worked on getting educated. Anyone else find hilarity in the fact that it is the same people that fucked over the K-12 system that now want to take over and make college free as well? That’s gonna end so well…

Anyway, back to talking taxes. Don’t get me wrong. I understand that we should pay some taxes. My disagreement is with a system that allows people that don’t pay anything to elect politicians that then tell the rest of us we need to pony up even more of our money for them to expand the abuse and corruption already rampant in the system. The best change to save our system of government right now, the one that would do the most to curb government abuses across the board, would be a flat tax and the abolishment of the IRS. If everyone has to pay an equal percentage, we will all have the same skin in the game, and with people that vote for a living suddenly out of that job, DC might finally be forced into fiscal responsibility. Even more important, the current corrupt system that allows the political aristocracy to abrogate itself unlimited wealth and power by forcing the rest of us to buy favors from them, especially taxation mitigation related favors, would implode overnight. No wonder that neither the collectivist & crony economy party nor the less collectivist and crony economy party want to do that.

As you send more of your hard earned pay to DC to be squandered by the vote buying aristocracy and their schemes and scams, remember that the answer to quite a few of this great country’s problems is actually quit simple. A flat tax would do away with so many of the special mechanisms that have propped up this dysfunctional bloated government we have today and in a single move force DC into dealing both with the economic reality they have created as well as return some sanity to the political class. It is therefore that it is anathema to the current political aristocracy whom would lose drastically should the status quo be upset. A man raped every year by the big government state – so people that pretend they mean well ca keep buying votes from close to half of the country that has no skin in the tax paying game – can dream.

Fuck you Paul Ryan, it is

If you had any doubt that there really isn’t that much of a distinction between the political elites in DC that has driving the pro-Trump revolution, all you need to look at is Paul Ryan’s pittiful appeal to pretend sending money to blue model Puerto Rico isn’t a bail out. Puerto Rico is as blue model as you can get. It’s what the left is all about: spend too much, massive corruption, cronyism, and abuse of power to the max. Now they are downright broke and dying, just like most blue model stats on the continent, think Illinois and soon, California itself, and they are going to DC to ask US tax payers to bail them the fuck out:

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) blasted Wall Street investors on Wednesday as he tried to tamp down conservative discontent with a bill to assist Puerto Rico.

The GOP leader charged that “special money interest groups on Wall Street” are trying to sabotage the legislation by billing it as a “bailout.”

Ryan said that the government will be forced to actually bail out the island if Congress fails to act, predicting massive defaults on its bonds.
“Many big-money interest groups on Wall Street know this and have put a lot of money toward sabotaging this legislation in order to force a last-minute bailout upon Puerto Rico, putting U.S. taxpayers on the hook for their bad loans,” his office said in a lengthy statement. “They call this a bailout, because they know it is not. And a bailout is what they want.”

Ryan’s push comes as GOP leaders are trying to pull in enough support from both parties to clear legislation that would impose a fiscal oversight board on Puerto Rico and allow it to restructure some of its debts.

He dismissed “buzzwords and special interest ad campaigns” that describe the package as a bailout, and instead argued the House plan imposes much-needed fiscal rigor on the island while avoiding a messy set of defaults.

What a pile of crock. This is a bailout for a bunch of crooks that ran their protectorate’s economy and finances into the ground, and Paul Ryan blaming Wall Street for pointing that out is about as idiotic as it gets. Congress is starting with this bailout of Puerto Rico for a reason: doing it for Illinois, California, Massachusetts, Michigan or anyone of the other blue states looking at the looming bankruptcy their blue model tax-and-spend, free-for-all, vote-buying scam system first, would leave the tax payers that foot this bill for broken government systems no doubt that this was them bailing out failed blue model states, and then in a way that allows these blue states to keep doing the same stupid shit that got them broke and begging in the first place. No dice.

Fuck a Puerto Rico bailout. Tell them to tighten the belt and deal with the shit that happens. The blue model states on the mainland can then absorb the army of free-loaders that will move there to suck at the government’s teat, and their demise will be hastened as well. We all will win when the vote-buying blue political model implodes and we can do away with this shit, the pain it will cause notwithstanding. The sooner this house of cards collapses, the sooner we can burn down the nanny state.

Minimum wage cronyism

I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat, but when you have a government system that is predicated on the idea of the big government machine ultimately picking winners & losers, people should not be surprised that practically all the “good things” the big government types push for involve someone carving themselves some special niche. Case in point the recent CA minimum wage hike which was heavily pushed by a whole slew of SJW types as helping people out. Sure they all told you this was the decent thing to do and that everyone opposing it had a nefarious agenda of their own – after all, SJW types point out that the only people that would argue against helping those making minimum wage out, are those that want to profit by robbing these unfortunates of their earned income – but, sooner than later, it comes out they had one of their own.

Yeah, the SJW big government types love to take the credit for helping minimum wage earners make more cash, but only an idiot thinks they do this to help/ Case in point the union that pushed the hardest for this new legislation, asking for an exemption for themselves from it:

The labor union that led the charge for a $15 minimum wage hike in cities across California is now moving to secure an exemption for employers under union contracts.

The Los Angeles County Federation of Labor buried the exemption on the eighth page of its 12-page proposal for the Santa Monica City Council to review Tuesday while deciding whether to follow Los Angeles and increase the minimum wage.

The loophole would allow employers with collective bargaining agreements to sidestep the wage hike and pay their union members below the proposed $15-per-hour minimum wage.

James Sherk, a research fellow in labor economics at The Heritage Foundation, said the exemption is a union attempt to encourage businesses to unionize by making themselves the only low-wage option as union membership continues to drop off.

Oh, this is far more than about encouraging others to unionize: it is about creating an unfair advantage for the unionized entities by actually creating a huge disadvantage for those that are not unionized. As most of us that knew higher minimum wages would negatively distort economic practices pointed out, the lies about wanting to help people were just that: lies. There always is a down and dirty agenda, and as things like this despicable maneuver shows it is always really about helping the big government nanny-staters enhance their power and create even more opportunities for graft.

The only real effect this move to jack the minimum wage to $15 an hour will have on way too many minimum wage earners will be the chance that they end up losing their jobs, as employers cut down or switch to use unionized labor. Similarly, people trying to get minimum wage low skilled entry jobs will find far fewer of those available. Ask the people in Seattle how well it worked for them. But hey, the big government types and their special interests sure as hell scored big with this job killing idea. Of course, when someone in traditional media finally gets to reporting that this was just another scheme to help the people feeding at the government trough steal more money from the productive, those of us that pointed out there was some ulterior and nefarious motive, are going to be the ones painted in a bad light again.

Got to protect the agenda…

Because this worked out so well before..

Being a social justice warrior/collectivist twit means never learning any of the lessons reality slams you with when the fucked up shit your supposedly well intentioned stupid ideas cause to happen blow up in your face. Oh sure, the leftist twits tried their best to blame it on the evil banks and their predatory practices not being regulated enough, but of course, as is always the case, they covered for the fact that it was deals they made to make this giant shit sandwich look semi-palatable to the lending industry that basically was being told to burn money by giving loans to people that were all but guaranteed to fuck things up.

Despite the usual heap of idiotic SJW bullshit about a rigged system, people that are considered high risk and thus are not able buy homes, usually are there because they have proven not to be fiscally responsible. That suddenly doesn’t go away when they are able to buy a home on the cheap, without any serious commitment or risk on their part, and continue to engage in the same idiotic things that cause them their financial pain. That republicans chose to go along with this idiotic scheme shouldn’t let them off the hook, but the push to get more of this crap going definitely comes from one party, as the Clintons doubling down on the stupid shows. Fast forward, and scams to make the whole mess look palatable fail to prevent the inevitable collapse of the house of cards this nonsense created.

Yeah yeah, I know that the DNC driven media has put out a ton of articles trying to blame evil Wall Street and provide cover for big SJW government’s role in this disaster, but you must be a liberal idiot if you are going to pretend that Wall Street could have done any of the things it did without government backing. in fact, the lie that the problem was caused by lack of regulation is galling. It was specifically caused by the regulation in place: the deals made with the big lenders to back their horribly crappy loans to people that never should have qualified for any such loan came from government.

American tax payers didn’t bail out Wall Street – like your usual leftist twit would like you to believe – because republicans wanted to save their friends, but because the SJW types in government knew that if they didn’t do this they would never again get any private institution to go along with any of their harebrained schemes again. Pelosi and the other criminals in her clique pretended not to want to bailout Wall Street and only to go along once they got their way to “reform” the system, but those of us that knew better, saw through that deceit. As many of us predicted, what followed was nothing but a charade, and that we would not only get zero action to prevent such a crisis again, but that the democrats would double down on pushign the same idiocy with renewed vigor.

Fast forward about 7 or so years, and here we are again:

The Obama administration is engaged in a broad push to make more home loans available to people with weaker credit, an effort that officials say will help power the economic recovery but that skeptics say could open the door to the risky lending that caused the housing crash in the first place.

President Obama’s economic advisers and outside experts say the nation’s much-celebrated housing rebound is leaving too many people behind, including young people looking to buy their first homes and individuals with credit records weakened by the recession.

In response, administration officials say they are working to get banks to lend to a wider range of borrowers by taking advantage of taxpayer-backed programs — including those offered by the Federal Housing Administration — that insure home loans against default.

Housing officials are urging the Justice Department to provide assurances to banks, which have become increasingly cautious, that they will not face legal or financial recriminations if they make loans to riskier borrowers who meet government standards but later default.

Officials are also encouraging lenders to use more subjective judgment in determining whether to offer a loan and are seeking to make it easier for people who owe more than their properties are worth to refinance at today’s low interest rates, among other steps.

Now what could go wrong with government forcing lenders to provide loans to people that are unqualified in the name of social justice, huh? We are back at the same junction we started of with the idiotic community reinvestment act. SJW are decrying the fact that people that make poor finical choices are being left behind, so they now are telling lenders that they should ignore the golden lending rules – as well as the laws of the land – and pony up. And don’t worry! Government, meaning the productive American tax payers that are already being fleeced at a record rate to finance other such SJW boondoggle schemes and scams, will back them up when the shit hits the fan!

Seriously, nobody should be surprised that an administration that has seen itself not only as “above the law”, but views the law and the legal system as a means to attack their political enemies while providing cover to their friends, decides they can openly tell the very financial entities that they so actively and effectively falsely blamed for the previous crisis that they better ignore the new set of idiotic laws of their own making, and to go back to doing more of the same stupid shit that destroyed the wealth of and screwed up so many in 2008.

What could go wrong this time? And it isn’t as if we might have any other bubbles to worry about either.

Insanity: doing the same stupid shit over and over under the pretense that this time you will overcome the laws of human nature, economics, and reality. But that’s liberal social justice warfare for you in a nutshell.

What collectivism really looks like..

This is what collectivism always really looks like. The “benevolent leader or leaders ” live like kings of old, with the power of life and death, and the rest, divided and conquered, fight over the scraps.

Don’t for a second let the people selling this shit religion tell you that this is the exception and what they want is different. Especially when they allude to the successes of their government religion in other places. The fact of the matter is that these things, while they work for a while, eventually end up in disaster. And when things go wrong, it is always the fault of others and external forces. That’s why these people tell you with a serious face that having an entity rob the productive at gun point, to buy votes from people quite content to fight over the scraps they get handed as part of this idiotic setup, as long as they feel others are made to suffer as well, can work if the “right people” are in charge.

The Kims, Castros, Pol Pot, Lenin, Stalin, and those that followed them, Mao and his successors, and so on and on, all are excused, along with the over 100 million killed and billions made to live in misery that the collectivist movement have caused, with the final insult being the admonition that the right people in charge would finally make it work. Well, the fact is Obama was also lauded as “the right people”, and only a real partisan hack with an agenda would pretend that those of us that point out that the only thing Obama and his cronies have really managed to accomplish was to make things worse, are wrong in saying so. As always, the way to validate this is to ask yourself what the reaction would be if someone with an R next to their name had done any of the things the media and the left have let pass when done by Obama, Hillary, or any of the other aristocrats of the left.

Contrary to what the people driven by greed and jealousy of what others have come to believe, the truth is that collectivism can’t create heaven on earth. No matter how well intentioned and what promises it makes, in the end it can only provide hell on earth. At least those pushing the old time religions knew better than to promise what couldn’t be delivered ever would happen in an afterlife.
