If you think Obama didn’t know this…

And by “this” I mean his threat to implement a vastly unpopular amnesty program – amongst voters of both parties – to buy votes from illegal aliens that would then be able to suck at the government’s teat and become dependents the democrat party could count on, that Black Jesus claims he will do by executive order if the wrascally republicans don’t do what he wants – despite the outcome of the last elections, where this item was a major issue – was all empty posturing and easy to circumvent. The fact of the matter is that congress is whom appropriates money for things to happen, and the house to be specific, and if Obama is stupid enough to go ahead with this charade, they will just defund his dumb and illegal maneuver.

The political left was counting on getting 70 or so percent of the 11 to 15 million people Obama wants to just reward for not only breaking our laws, but making a mockery of the people that do follow the process to come here legally, which is why they are so desperate to push for this shit even though it is very unpopular with several of those disaffected special interests that form the democratic party’s voting base. Many republican politicians want this also, because of the implications on the cost of labor. But the people, those of us that will foot the bill this time over and whenever the next amnesty happens, don’t. I was convinced in the 80s to go along with that amnesty plan, because we were promised it would never, ever happen again, and that without it we would always have a serious vulnerability. Here we are again, with the number of people they now want to give amnesty to doubled, if not tripled, and it looks like this will become the way we do things ever two or three decades. I see fuck that.

When you have educated and capable people trying to come here, people with hard working attitudes and decent ethics (and anyone thast slogs through our immigration system sure as hell is a saint), and you opt to reward millions of unskilled law breakers whose claim to fame was jumping a border with plenty of help from the very people that ought to be keeping them out, too many of which will also end up on the dole and drain us dry, as seems to be planned – because regardless of what these politicians tell us this isn’t about doing anything noble and all about them keeping their hold on the levers of power so they can keep sucking our life blood like the vampires they are – one shouldn’t be remiss at questioning the agenda. Me, my primary concern isn’t this useless and nonsensical racial bullshit, but the effect it will have on America staying on top. If your agenda is to turn the US into a no good two-bit socialist shit hole like practically all the European socialist states, then yeah, more of this idiotic agenda. If you want excellence, we better start bringing in the people that come here because they still believe the American dream is about had work paying off. Not the ones that feel crossing the border will pay off in free shit (meaning others pay for it).

Liberal NIMBY strikes again

If you have been living under a rock, you might have missed the current Obama Administration approved invasion from the south that’s been causing problems like this one, that will in the end hit us all. Me, I think this is yet another one in the many arrows in this administration’s quiver of “Destroy exceptional America” that the Obama administrations people have been running. But the real interesting thing is how the liberal left, which constantly advocates for exactly this shit, when themselves impacted, suddenly doesn’t like the idea so much.

When the pols in my deep blue state were told they were going to have to help the Obama administration hide what they were doing, they said , hell no. The same has happened in the deep blue state of Maryland. That’s the same guy that called all the people that were saying that this disaster was Obama’s doing and on purpose, evil and implied they were motivated by racism. This story repeats itself everywhere.

The bulk of the nay-sayers are the libs that love this policy of letting in illegals that because of their dependency on government handouts will likely vote – and do so illegally – for the democrats. Some however, love the idea so much they are willing to put their money where their mouth is.

Only in America. Ask the Guatemalans how Mexico treats then when they jump that border.

Another preview of Obamacare?

look at what the Obama administration is doing to medical professionals that warn about issues with illegal immigrants:

A government-contracted security force threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they divulged any information about the contagion threat at a refugee camp housing illegal alien children at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, sources say.

This is yet another example of what to expect from progressive healthcare. I am not kidding. The criminals in the Obama administration and the people they send out to do their dirty work have shown us, numerous times, that they aren’t just above the law, but that they have no compunction of abusing the law to force behavior they want. Lucky for us we have found out about these shenanigans, but that is because:

In spite of the threat, several former camp workers broke their confidentiality agreements and shared exclusive details with me about the dangerous conditions at the camp. They said taxpayers deserve to know about the contagious diseases and the risks the children pose to Americans. I have agreed to not to disclose their identities because they fear retaliation and prosecution.

Don’t worry. They will be punished for doing so. This administration is good at that. Aren’t we lucky?

Life is far crazier than fiction

I wish I could say that the idea that a US administration would orchestrate an invasion of illegal children for political purposes is nothing but a bunch of conspiracy kooks being stupid, but after seeing the things the Obama administration has done, I am inclined to believe this is actually of their doing. This is the bunch of crooks that told us that no crisis should be allowed to go to waste,. after all. The left, after all, believes that the best way to push their policies is by creating fear and pain. Once people have no choice they have to swallow the proffered progtard cock and ask for seconds. I know quite a few people that wondered if McCain was the Manchurian candidate back in the day when he tried to run for the presidency, but quickly realized the guy was just an old fool. I am now however convinced that Manchurian candidate distinction should go to the guy in the WH right now. He meant it when the warned us he was fundamentally going to change America, only the idiots that lapped that crap up didn’t realize he meant for the worse.

Cantor loses to Tea Party challenger in major upset

Cantor, the republican Senate minority leader, in a first ever case, lost in the primary in VA to an unknown and upstart Tea Party candidate. The NYT is flabbergasted. After all, they have been telling us that the Tea Party is dead, after all.

With just over $200,000, David Brat — a professor at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va. — toppled Mr. Cantor, repeatedly criticizing him for being soft on immigration and contending that he supported what critics call amnesty for immigrants in the country illegally. The Associated Press declared Mr. Brat the winner.

Going into the elections, most Republicans had been watching for how broad Mr. Cantor’s victory would be, with almost no one predicting that he would lose.

Mr. Cantor’s defeat — the most unexpected of a congressional leader in recent memory — will reverberate in the capital and could have major implications for an immigration overhaul.

There is a lesson here for all politicians: Americans are not liking the current immigration strategy employed by either party. Amnesty for these law breaking border jumpers should be a no-go. We were already promised in the 80s it would not happen again, and here we are today with central American nations all happy that Obama’s administration has decided not to enforce immigration laws. It’s insane.

Cantor losing is about the greatest thing that could have happened right now. It will force the politicians in DC to abandon their strategy to reward criminals in order to buy potential future votes. And democrats should be even more weary about this. A large section of their voter base views these border jumpers as direct competition for their livelihood, and they will not just accept the new comers, despite what the elite hoi-polloi on the left tell them they should believe.

Good riddance, and lets make sure the amnesty plans are derailed.

An immigration reform proposal I can get behind..

I finally saw an immigration reform proposal I could semi-get behind, and it was one from Roger L. Simon over at P.J Media titled A Modest Proposal for Immigration Reform. Here is his proposal:

So here’s my simple — call it simple-minded, if you want — solution, my modest proposal. Illegal immigrants, assuming they have lived here for a decent period of time and have not committed a felony, can have amnesty, but they can NEVER be allowed to vote. They can do anything else that is legal, but if they want to vote — or run for office or practice law in our country, as just happened in California — they must return home and go through the normal immigrant application process, however long that may take until they have citizenship.

This is a humane solution that does not make a complete mockery of the rule of law (only a partial one). You can live a satisfactory life without voting. Many who have the right to vote don’t bother anyway. (In 2012, only 57.5% of eligible voters voted in the presidential election. Many fewer voted in other contests.) It’s up to the individual illegal immigrant here: He or she can enjoy the privileges of U.S. citizenship without voting or go home and wait in line.

This solves the major problem I have with this attempt to give amnesty to millions by the democratic party. And please, let’s not pretend that it’s about anything else for the democrats. The left wants this amnesty because they see it as a means to jack up the number of people that vote for a living and cement their lock on elections. The right is pushing for it because corporate America somehow has convinced themselves this will allow them to lower labor costs despite the fact that the left is larding up the whole thing in order to buy these people’s votes.

However, I assure you that the left will kill this amnesty proposal if it contains language that makes it so these people never get to vote or run for office, unless they actually take the time to follow the immigration law, and that’s because the fundamental reason they want thise opf what they say, is the votes they believe they will get, and nothing else. They do not care of the burden/cost it will impose on the rest of us. It’s about power and holding on to that. All the other talk is smoke and mirrors.

So yeah, any proposal that has this language denying the vote will never pass muster with the left, or stand a chance to become law. And that in and of itself is just peachy by me. If you want to move here follow the law. Yeah, the immigration law sucks, so reform that to make it more responsive and less of a joke. But don’t let the left pass this amnesty plan of theirs simply so they can cement their already brutal stranglehold on the productive Americans and the abusive and coercive government, even more. And any republcian that goes along wiith the plan the left wants needs to be punished too.

A topic we have not discussed here.. much

None of the authors here at this blog have paid much attention to the horribly misnamed immigration reform initiative. Yeah, our government calls this thing immigration reform, but like the Affordable Healthcare Act – a.k.a Obamacare – had absolutely nothing to do with making healthcare affordable, good, or more accessible, this immigration reform isn’t about reforming the broken US immigration system as much as it is an attempt to reward some 11 million border jumping illegals for doing just that, with citizenship and lots of government cheese in return for their votes. We don’t even have to play the “guess which party is doing this” game. If you still have issues figuring out which political party is the master at using US tax payer money to buy themselves votes, power, and line their pockets with wealth, you haven’t been paying attention. Especially for the last 5 years.

And no, I am not giving republicans a pass on this issue. There are quite a few of them willing to go along with this terrible plan to reward these illegals and help the democrats get a lot of new voters, for whatever insane reason. I do laugh heartily at the people that say those of us that do not want to go along with this “noble” effort by donkeys to buy themselves some votes on the backs of the American tax payers, because we are racists or want to exploit these poor people, since it is utter bullshit. My main problem is that this done back in the 80s already, and we were promised then that we would actually fix our immigration policies and never have to do this again, and we find ourselves doing it yet again. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. And have no doubt that this immigration reform bill that these fuckers are pushing now, like the one from the 80s, does nothing to prevent a repeat some 20-30 years down the line. More importantly, it doesn’t fix our broken immigration system that leaves those that actually follow the legal requirements to come here in limbo for years, and more often than not then denies them their request anyway.

What we really need is reform that streamlines the immigration process for those that follow the law and makes it easier for qualified people – those without a criminal background, that will not show up to suck at the government’s teat, and especially those that come with special skills – to come to this country. A bill that is totally7 focused on rewarding 11 million border jumpers for breaking the law, isn’t a good deal for the American people. Especially since it is blatantly obvious how easy it is for the politicians to later, once they get this terrible bill passed, to strip out any of the language they had to add to buy support for their maneuver, that restricted these illegals, once made into citizens, from becoming freeloaders sucking on the government’s teat.

Look, I am not crazy enough to think we can deport 11 million plus people. Even if our government actually wanted to do that, something that is definitely not the case today, I think they couldn’t. But we can’t reward them for breaking the law and expect that there will not be more of that law breaking down the line. I, and many like me made that same argument back in the 80s, and the fact that we are here today, with an even larger number of illegals now on the path to getting rewarded for breaking our laws, proves us right. If we do this like the people that only see this maneuver as a quick way for them to garner a few million extra votes want us to, we are domed to end up repeating this mess again down the line. At a minimum, whatever solution we have should serve as both a deterrent to more illegal immigration and, and this is the big and t me, a deterrent for our political master to encourage the illegal immigration followed by the amnesty gimmick.

Let’s fix legal immigration first. Make the path to citizenship easier for those that follow the law. Especially the highly skilled and hardworking people that right now seem the ones hardest hit and punished by our failed existing system. Encourage immigration from people that are going to come here and not become dependent on the American tax payer for subsistence. Definitely keep out the criminal element as much as feasible possible, since we do an awesome job creating our own home grown ones already. And make it unpalatable for illegal immigration to occur at the current rate. I am not crazy enough to think we can stop it all, but we can stop most of it. The first move is to stop rewarding the law breakers and expect them to pay for their crime in cash or otherwise. After we do these things, we can discuss what we do with all these illegals. Rewarding them with amnesty and tax payer funded largess just so politicians in either party can get more votes is a disservice to the American people. And most important of all, let’s make sure that our immigration policy doesn’t harm Americans as much as the current plan does.
