Tag: AGW cultists caught lying – again

The jokes write themselves…

People like this idiot that report a fucking treaty signed by an idiot whose presidency should go down in history as the most destructive and idiotic one to hit America in a century, are the ones today that basically encompass the media machine that is all angry that Hillary isn’t walking away with the presidential election this year.

Ron Allen was reporting from the White House, where President Obama spoke to the media about the agreement being ratified by the required number of nations.

When President Obama wrapped up his speech, Allen started speaking and tied the agreement to the current hurricane barreling towards Florida.

‘It’s very interesting that this is happening on a day when there’s a hurricane bearing down on the United States and in the Caribbean because these severe storms, beach erosions, intense weather episodes that we’ve had is perhaps the most practical sample of what the president was talking about as the threat that the planet faces,’ Allen said.

He went on to say that the agreement, which encourages nations to reduce their carbon emissions, ‘is designed to stop’ storms like Hurricane Matthew.

I particularly liked the tweet about this idiotic statement having as much validity as someone claiming Amazon will use unicorns to deliver their goods. Liberalism is about fantasy and myths more than anything grounded in any form of facts or reality. Unfortunately for humanity, most of the time they get away with saying the stupid shit they say to prop up their failed ideology because it isn’t blatantly obvious to most people that they are talking out of their ass like it was in this case.

Fucking morons.

Science!

Who would have think that a tyrannical asshole like Nye would fall this low? Well, I did. These supposed scientists, like Nye and DeGrasse-Tyson, are nothing but left wing shills with delusions of grandeur.

Leading climate activists are warning moviegoers to shun the May 2nd nationwide one-day theater screening of “Climate Hustle,” a new film debunking climate alarmism and its big government solutions.

Bill Nye (not a real “science guy,” FYI), who entertains the idea of throwing climate skeptics in the slammer, warned the film’s producer, Climate Depot publisher Marc Morano, that “Climate Hustle’s” content endangers not just the nation, but also the world:

“I think it will expose your point of view as very much in the minority and very much not in our national interest and the world’s interest.”

U.N. Climate Scientist Michael Oppenheimer has, likewise, condemned the film – without even viewing it – for daring to dispute climate alarmism. “Marc is a propagandist,” the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change scientist cautions viewers.

Yeah, think hard on that. If you really believe the stuff you are peddling is science, you wouldn’t be this worried about contrary opinion. If you are peddling bullshit, having others point that out however will be detrimental. Basically a shorter Bill Nye is “drink our koolaid, and don’t let the facts get in the way”.

I am gonna buy a dozen tickets to this movie.

It was a mistake! – just like the Learner IRS emails being eaten by her dog.. (UPDATED)

Make what you want of this – I know exactly what it means to me, but then again, I am not a cultists blinded by faith in AGW, and what it should mean to people that respect the scientific process – but if you suspect something is rotten in Denmark, you are on the right track.

According to NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center in 2012, the “average temperature for the contiguous U.S. during July was 77.6°F, 3.3°F above the 20th century average, marking the warmest July and all-time warmest month on record for the nation in a period of record that dates back to 1895.”

“The previous warmest July for the nation was July 1936, when the average U.S. temperature was 77.4°F,” NOAA said in 2012.

This statement by NOAA was still available on their website when checked by The Daily Caller News Foundation. But when meteorologist and climate blogger Anthony Watts went to check the NOAA data on Sunday he found that the science agency had quietly reinstated July 1936 as the hottest month on record in the U.S.

“Two years ago during the scorching summer of 2012, July 1936 lost its place on the leaderboard and July 2012 became the hottest month on record in the United States,” Watts wrote. “Now, as if by magic, and according to NOAA’s own data, July 1936 is now the hottest month on record again. The past, present, and future all seems to be ‘adjustable’ in NOAA’s world.”

Maybe the people that value science over the political agenda are taking over the reins of power, or maybe the cultists are just doing damage control so they can come out and tell us that they have never made up shit, whole cloth, to frighten people into agreeing with the collectivist cultist’s agenda. Who the fuck knows anymore with these clowns? Maybe they can use the same exuse hte IRS used and blame it on technical difficulties or the dog. Don’t expect anyone in the LSM to point this out for you BTW.

This myth can’t die a quick enough death for me so real scientific research can take place and we can find out what our options really are. And no, the option should never, ever, be an increase in government power, at the expense of our freedoms, coupled with more of our hard earned money being stolen from us by the nanny staters. No matter the crisis. I would rather humanity perish any other way than that way.

>UPDATE: The fact is that Government Data Show U.S. in Decade-Long Cooling according to the Forbes article:

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s most accurate, up-to-date temperature data confirm the United States has been cooling for at least the past decade. The NOAA temperature data are driving a stake through the heart of alarmists claiming accelerating global warming.

Responding to widespread criticism that its temperature station readings were corrupted by poor citing issues and suspect adjustments, NOAA established a network of 114 pristinely cited temperature stations spread out fairly uniformly throughout the United States. Because the network, known as the U.S. Climate Reference Network (USCRN), is so uniformly and pristinely situated, the temperature data require no adjustments to provide an accurate nationwide temperature record. USCRN began compiling temperature data in January 2005. Now, nearly a decade later, NOAA has finally made the USCRN temperature readings available.

According to the USCRN temperature readings, U.S. temperatures are not rising at all – at least not since the network became operational 10 years ago. Instead, the United States has cooled by approximately 0.4 degrees Celsius, which is more than half of the claimed global warming of the twentieth century.

Of course, 10 years is hardly enough to establish a long-term trend. Nevertheless, the 10-year cooling period does present some interesting facts.

First, global warming is not so dramatic and uniform and alarmists claim. For example, prominent alarmist James Hansen claimed in 2010, “Global warming on decadal time scales is continuing without letup … effectively illustrat[ing] the monotonic and substantial warming that is occurring on decadal time scales.” The word monotonic means, according to Merriam-Webster Online, “having the property either of never increasing or of never decreasing as the values of the independent variable or the subscripts of the terms increase.” Well, either temperatures are decreasing by 0.4 degrees Celsius every decade or they are not monotonic.

Second, for those who may point out U.S. temperatures do not equate to global temperatures, the USCRN data are entirely consistent with – and indeed lend additional evidentiary support for – the global warming stagnation of the past 17-plus years. While objective temperature data show there has been no global warming since sometime last century, the USCRN data confirm this ongoing stagnation in the United States, also.

The facts don’t bear out. The predictions by the cultist’s models are stumped, over and over, and the desperate cultists are resorting to other scare tactics – like telling us that gingers will go extinct – to keep pushing the agenda. If these people cared about science, they would be going back to the drawing board. Instead they are threatening to do what they want by fiat, despite the damage and the fact that they are full of shit. They are reluctant to see this vehicle that has given them so much opportunity to steal from the productive and to grow their power on the masses go down in the flames it needs to.

Cultist caught lying & manipulating science they don’t like – again

Earlier this week I read about how one of the more renown former proponents of the AGW-mageddon preached by the cultist was rail-roaded for no longer being a true believer, but didn’t write about it because it would be more of the same behavior you see the AGW cultists exhibit whenever someone leaves their plantation. However, as another revelation related to Lenart Bengtsson and research he and some colleagues that feel science should rule over collectivist agenda, has come out, I feel this is writing about. At issue is the suppression of a research report that disagreed with the doom & gloom bullshit the cultists rely on to sell more collectivism.

Sure you can focus on the AGW predictions angle, but I saw something else, far more important, in the story. A little bit of background:

Research which heaped doubt on the rate of global warming was deliberately suppressed by scientists because it was “less than helpful” to their cause, it was claimed last night.

In an echo of the infamous “Climategate” scandal at the University of East Anglia, one of the world’s top academic journals rejected the work of five experts after a reviewer privately denounced it as “harmful”.

Reporting facts, and more importantly, the fact that the AGW cultists are incapable of anything scientific considering the principle clearly states that when you predict something and it doesn’t happen you are wrong, apparently is a harmful thing to the cause. And the cause can be interpreted as two things, neither of which has anything to do with science or actually doing anything to prevent the climate Armageddon predicted by the watermelons. The harm here is being done to the agenda, which has, and will always be, collectivist power expansion and control of the masses. Whatever “crisis du jour” the watermelons try to sell people to foist their agenda on us, the solution always is more taxes, bigger & more powerful nanny state, less freedom of any kind for the people, and the notion that those that deny them this desire are motivated by ill will.

Consensus science, is junk science. A scientific process that relies on a peer review system where the connected decide something “damaging” to the cause, and then a cause that’s ideological and political and not scientific, isn’t the sort of science they want, is also junk science. AGW science is junk science. Period. This shit can’t die a quick enough death for me, so we can turn to Ocean Acidification and that attempt to further damage scientific credibility. Collectivism sucks.
