"To what purpose are powers limited, and to what purpose is that limitation committed to writing, if these limits may, at any time, be passed by those intended to be restrained?" -- Chief Justice John Marshall, Marbury v. Madison, 1803 Saturday, September 11, 2004Turning Traitor
by Lee
Here’s a guy who stood up for his conscience and defied what he considered an immoral, unjust war, which should make him a hero to Michael Moore and the rest of the world’s left-wing asshats. Of course, he deserted and spent his time helping one of the most evil, brutal regimes in history, but hey, why split hairs?
Sounds like “I’m John Kerry, and I’m reporting for duty,” doesn’t it?
Hey, not only can Michael Moore lionize this guy in his next film, he’s already got time in front of a camera!
When lefties lionize deserters and people, like that scumabg Marine standing with Mikey in front of the Caiptol, this is the type of thing they encourage. This guy “stood up for his beliefs,” and is he a better man for it? Is America a better place for it? Or did he do nothing but aid and comfort the enemy?
