You all new that the lunatic conspiracy theories would immediately hit the internet.  Right Wing News has a great roundup of some of the better ones from the DU.  Here’s a sample.

Cascadian: That was not meant to be insensitive. This is something you would not wish on anybody. My point is I hope this is not the start of something bigger. Give Bush an excuse to turn America into a full-on dictatorship. Bush, Cheney, and Rove know they are in deep trouble. What better way to stay in power than create chaos. I don’t like the feel of this one bit!

That’s right, folks.  Bush is so intent on turning America into a fascist dictatorship that he and his evil henchmen engineered the London bombings.  It’s the burning of the Reichstag all over again!  And then there’s this idiocy over at well-paid DNC mouthpiece Kos.

I know I’ll be villified here for saying this, and I’ll preempt the reality based crowd by saying of course I have absolutely no proof whatsoever.

I know Al Qaida has taken responsibility.

That does not mean I cannot envision a scenario where US Agents are complicit in aiding a real attack.

It’s just real strange how these things always seem to help the Bush Administration which this event will invariably do.

It’s not like middle eastern folks can just get easy access to Londons Tube system without some assistance I would think.

And why would terrorists accept our assistance? Because they need it. corruption corruption corruption to the fucking core.

Yes, boys and girls, not only did Bush and his fascist junta coordinate the attacks, but they did so with terrorists.  Why?  Well, first of all “middle eastern folks” have a hard time walking into the London subway with all the rest of the commuters.  (I blame the Bushitler.) So we’re working together so that the military industrial complex and the forces of radical Islamofascism can realize their goal of keeping the world in perpetual war, all the better to line the pockets of corporate America, and keep the radicals signing up for the jihad.

Seriously, these people need to be locked up in mental institutions.  There’s reasoned dissent and then there’s this paranoid, delusional drivel.  They are more than willing to think up any excuse that prevents them from recognizing the one indisputable fact: Islamists are our enemy, and they want to kill us.  Because if you accept that premise, it largely justifies everything Bush has done so far.  Because they oppose the war (and all war, when you think about it) they have to deny the indisputable fact to justify their beliefs.  That’s not dissent, that’s a mental disease.
