Terror?  Not So Much
by Lee

That JFK terror plot is turning out to be far more sizzle than steak.

Homeland Security sources said there is no current threat at the airport and the attack as planned was “not technically feasible.”

Kinda like my plan to fuck Ashley Judd this weekend.  At any rate, let’s listen to the words of the terrorist mastermind, the evil fiend who wanted to kill so many.

“Anytime you hit Kennedy, it is the most hurtful thing to the United States. To hit John F. Kennedy, wow ... they love JFK—he’s like the man,” former JFK airport cargo worker Russell Defreitas allegedly said in a telephone conversation monitored by the FBI.

“If you hit that, this whole country will be in mourning. It’s like you can kill the man twice,” Defreitas allegedly added.

Every time someone points out how Bush has “kept us safe” from terror attacks since 9/11, keep in mind that these are terrists whose plots are not feasible and who sound like stoned hippies.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.  Every “terror plot” that we have foiled so far has turned out to be far less odious than we are originally led to believe, which just makes me think more and more that the only reason we haven’t been hit hard since 9/11 is that the terrists have simply chosen not to.

Update: I thought this didn’t need to be explained in detail, but apparently that is not the case.  Just because something is not technically feasible doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be investigated, pursued, and the perpetrators prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  But if incidents like this are going to be used to bolster Bush’s image as a steely-eyed terrorist killer with his six-guns slung low on his hips, I think it’s only fair to point out that the terrorist he just gunned down in the town square was half retarded and trying to stab a woman with a banana.
