Now They’ve Got Him!

Finally, Senate Democrats have something to use against Roberts:

...Senator Charles Schumer expressed unhappiness with Roberts’ refusal to answer questions with any specificity.

Schumer said if he asked Roberts about movies, the answer would deal with cinematography and [say that] “Casablanca” is considered one of the greatest movies.

Instead, Roberts answered flat out, bringing laughter from the audience and senators alike....Roberts told lawmakers his favorite movies are “Dr. Zhivago” and “North by Northwest.”

I’m just so glad that they’re doing this, because it’s obviously hugely productive. This, however may actually be a concern. Hugh Hewitt is less worried.
