You can’t make this crap up….

I can not seem to find anyone reporting on the shenanigans that went on in the house last night, but this morning on Fox News I saw a piece discussing how Pelosi late last night told the house members they were adjourning and stopping debate - amongst other things on this proposal to actually investigate Pelosi’s claims that the CIA lied to her about waterboarding terrorists for intelligence info and tow other amendments dealing with one or another democrat scam – only to then, as soon as she figured enough republicans were gone to prevent democrats from stopping these amendments/resolutions, call for a vote. From what I understand many opposition lawmakers scrambled to get back, but in the end Pelosi got what she wanted, and prevented the amendments from being added.

Now call me stupid, but if there was even one iota of truth to Pelosi’s claim the CIA lied to her, wouldn’t she want to get that investigated and herself vindicated? The only obvious reason to prevent this is obviously because she was lying, as usual, and just wants this to go away. If there was any doubt Nancy was the one making up crap, this should clarify that issue. Even the most partisan lib can not miss the obvious here: the democrats not only knew about the waterboarding, but had no problem with it until it became politically expedient to oppose it. We all know why, don’t we?

I can not remember what the other 2 amendments the republicans wanted tacked on were, but my addled brain thinks it involved addressing or stopping stupid government spending. The one good thing is that the republicans will get another chance to bring all three of these up again. I wonder what trick Pelosi will pull then, and how hard it will be for the MSM not to point out that our most ethical congress is run by a pack of hyenas. Scratch that, hyenas have more nobility, morality, and honor than Pelosi & crew can ever muster. After all, there is the need to protect the biggest screw job ever of the American people from going down in flames. In the mean time the freak show continues unabated.

The media is clearly not doing its job.  It’s also clearly failing, due to free-market principles (which covers most of the other failures as well).  Perhaps this will fix itself, too.

Come on...the US media doesn’t have time to run stories about such trivial topics as these!

They have to devote time to covering the all important story of Obama swatting a fly. Where are your priorities???!!!

I agree that the media wastes too much time on Obama’s image as opposed to his actions, but I duuno...I think Pelosi deserve more heat than obama right now.  And she hasnt felt it.
