I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have. - Thomas Jefferson
Sullivan talks a lot about the danger of McCain and his “double down” thinking. Well, this week, he’s doubling down on Sarah Palin. Now that the baby truther conspiracy is garbage; now that the AIP story is garbage; we’re getting into Troopergate.
The ABC story linked above is incredibly biased. It never mentions that Officer Wooten made death threats against Palin, her father and her sister, drove drunk and tasered a 10-year old—charges supported by a police investigation that resulted in ... a five-day suspension. Nor does it mention that Palin requested the investigation of herself by filing an ethics complaints against herself.
The investigation has now been moved up and we’ll find out the truth. But this really looks like a lot of nothing to me.
Update: I do agree with one thing the Palin bashers are saying—actually a few things—but the one point I will absolutely concede is that she should do a press conference and take queries from the media. I’m not sure why they are holding her back. It makes them look like they’re hiding something.

From what I’ve heard and read of this, there’s nothing she did that couldn’t have been better done 5 minutes sooner. This guy was a disgusting pig cop who deserved to be fired and then jailed with the general population. This is another non story. I hope that the left keeps it up with this. Their constant wolf cries are digging progressively deeper holes…
Every falsehood against Palin is run to like it was Pulitzer Prize worthy while every allegation against Bill Clinton that proved true was hardly mentioned. Of course there’s a liberal bias, but I’m sure it’s just because the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy wants it that way.
