Sealed With A Kiss

What you’re looking at is the emblem the Obama people want to put on any project using the stimulus funds.  That way, people can drive down the street, point to it and say, “Isn’t Barack Obama just wonderful?” Alternatively, if you’re a taxpayer, you can tattoo it on your ass, so the feds have something to read while they’ve got you bent over.

What I want to know is, will this emblem appear on my daughter’s paychecks when she’s being taxed out the ying-yang to pay for all this?  I think there should be a special line item on payroll stubs.  Below FICA and Federal Tax, you can have this emblem so that everyone knows exactly how much is being taken from them.

Oh, this is beautiful. It has the potential to backfire spectacularly when people really get to see all the garbage they’re paying for.

Am I the only one that sees that the plant in the left side is poison ivy?  Irony.

So, will the “permanent revolution” become the “permanent recovery”?

Fascists do love their symbology.

The National Recovery Act had symbols placed on businesses and products during the Great Depression. History repeats itself. Clearly, we have learned nothing.

No, we have learned to use slogans and labels to facilitate brainwashing…

If this symbol has to be printed on your daughter’s (and granddaughter’s, and probably great-granddaughter’s) paychecks, then we also need symbols for the Iraq War (fustercluck.gov), the Financial Markets Bailout (wallstgotdrunk.gov) and the Medicare Rx Bill (pharmawelfare.gov).
