"To what purpose are powers limited, and to what purpose is that limitation committed to writing, if these limits may, at any time, be passed by those intended to be restrained?" -- Chief Justice John Marshall, Marbury v. Madison, 1803 Of Measles And WeaslesWelcome to the new Third World.

Well, gee, does this mean that when the little tykes catch these diseases doctors won’t have to provide treatment? Posted by on 05/10/08 at 03:42 AM from
If they have insurance, I am sure the doctors will be happy to provide whatever service they can get paid for...just like for AIDS or any other mostly preventable (via personal actions) disease. Posted by on 05/10/08 at 07:20 AM from
It’s obviously a conspiracy by the left. It’s obviously a conspiracy by the left. It’s obviously a conspiracy by the left (just keep repeating it over and over, like that will make it true). Thank God we have “no child left behind”. Otherwise the whole of society would have gone to pot. Oh wait. Posted by on 05/10/08 at 08:10 AM from

I see this as a natural outcome of Jimmy Carter involving the federal government in the education system. Toss in the unions and the leftists and you have to be what appears to be a deliberate attempt to create a society of uneducated idiots that are easily led around by the nose.
They have succeeded in creating a society that will believe almost any sort of pseudoscience rhetoric that you dangle in front of it.
