Nazi Retraction
by Lee

Gee, what a shocker.

A post in The Medium that appeared on Monday about the Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul and his purported adoption by white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups contained several errors. Stormfront, which describes itself as a “white nationalist” Internet community, did not give money to Ron Paul’s presidential campaign; according to Jesse Benton, a spokesman for Paul’s campaign, it was Don Black, the founder of Stormfront, who donated $500 to Paul. The original post also repeated a string of assertions by Bill White, the commander of the American National Socialist Workers Party, including the allegation that Paul meets regularly “with members of the Stormfront set, American Renaissance, the Institute for Historic Review and others” at a restaurant in Arlington, Va. Paul never attended these dinners, according to Benton, who also says that Paul has never knowingly met Bill White. Norman Singleton, a congressional aide in Paul’s office, says that he met Bill White at a dinner gathering of conservatives several years ago, after which Singleton expressed his indignation at the views espoused by White to the organizer of the dinner. The original post should not have been published with these unverified assertions and without any response from Paul.

Wow, it’s almost like all this Ron Paul/nazi stuff is complete bullshit.

Who weeps for the paulestinian people, Lee?

What an injustice. the shock. the horror.

All this guy needs to do is publicly announce that he has not and will not associate with these people and turn his back on them. Why can’t he do that Lee?

I’m asking you and not him because he can’t seem to speak for himself, but the Paulestinians seem to know everything about him (even though I’d never heard of him before his internet revolution).

Look at it like this Lee, piss your vote away on this guy and you are granting Queen Hillary’s 2008 Christmas wish. Mark my words.

I know you are at odds with me on this, but I don’t support Marshall Applewhite, errr, I mean Ron Paul for TWO reasons.

1. He will not publicly denounce the Neo Nazis that worship him. I also have to ask why he is so popular with neo-nazis. Plenty of other cantidates support limiting government (in speech only Lee, ya know, kinda like the only thing Ron Paul has actually done up to this point?) and his support base is stacked with fucking lunatics. That and libertarians that it would seem gladly elect Hitler to kill jews, so long as he give them the limited government they’re pining for.

and..

2. He’s never going to win. Not ever. Might as well vote for Obama, Lee.

Throwing a vote away because you are pissed off is no way to live.

This is actually the funniest part of the article, Lee. It reads right out of an episode of the Chappelle show.

“Correction Chad, I did not sleep with your girlfriend. It was actually Lysol!”

christ you can’t make that shit up, but it’s good to be clear with people. so it wasn’t Stormfront, persay, it was actually the FOUNDER of Stormfront.

the founder who Ron Paul unknowingly met later and paused for a pic with the chap.

Posted by Thrill on 12/28/07 at 01:08 AM from United States

Are we still talking about Ron Paul?

so it wasn’t Stormfront, persay, it was actually the FOUNDER of Stormfront.

Ah, but Stormfront.org does have a “Ron Paul” banner displayed that directs you to where you can make a donation.  Like it or not, Ron Paul absolutely is the official candidate of White Supremacists, Lee.  “Stormfront” itself may not have donated to Ron Paul’s campaign but it’s likely that tens of thousands of donors have given to Ron Paul through it because of its official endorsement.

Wow, it’s almost like all this Ron Paul/nazi stuff is complete bullshit.

Wishful thinking on your part.  Ron Paul’s little R3VOLution or whatever the hell it is will die because of this.  He should have firmly disassociated himself from these people months ago but he couldn’t bring himself to.

Again, so fucking what?  The GOP is the party of a hell of a lot of Southern redneck racists as well.  Who gives a shit?

Is Paul a member of Stormfront?  Does he give them the time of day?  Does he seek their counsel?  Of course not.  This is just a pathetic, cheap smear tactic on the part of people who are threatened by someone speaking an ACTUAL conservative message.

Let me put it this way:  if Stormfront wanted to buy a blogad on this site I’d let them.

He should have firmly disassociated himself from these people months ago but he couldn’t bring himself to.

Why should he be forced to “disasscoaite” himself from an organization he was never associated with?  Anyone can donate money to a political campaign.  If the founder of Stormfront eats at McDonald’s should they be forced to deny him service because he’s a racist scumbag?  Or does racist money spend just as well as anything else?  If RP can take nazi money and do something good with it, isn’t that a positive thing?

Should Jim have returned Michael Moore’s $12,000, or should he have done what he did, taken it and bought health insurance for his wife?

Maybe, but I think they are officially registered democrats, or Dixiecrats. The racists registered democrat because of the civil war, and do so for pretty much the same reason you are voting for
Paul, Lee. Out of spite.

Is Paul a member of Stormfront?  Does he give them the time of day?  Does he seek their counsel?  Of course not.  This is just a pathetic, cheap smear tactic on the part of people who are threatened by someone speaking an ACTUAL conservative message.

thompson has a pretty good conservative message, and he doesn’t have any association to Stormfront.

Let me put it to you this way, Lee. Do you want the leader of the free world to have ties with neo nazis? Is that the face of the nation you’d like to see abroad?

Ok, so scumbag money spends the same as priest money. You gotta atand for something, Lee. It’s a ridiculous merry-go-round you put everyone on to avoid getting a straight answer.

Why won’t Ron Paul dissasociate with these poeple?

And just to clarify, you’re fucking mental to believe that he’s just simply looking forward, and not pandering to these nazi’s somehow.

And not answering the question, is association I’m afraid.

If a white supremacist quickly intervened and saved your child (or someone else you loved) from getting hit my a car, would you publicly denounce their assistance and immediately throw your child under the next available vehicle?

I know I wouldn’t, and I’d even say “thank you.”

Should we be that abhorred at the very thought of receiving assistance from someone based solely on them holding views that you hate, even if it is for a good cause?  Can I even go out and meet new people without first requiring a background check?  Do our asses need to be covered up that much?

I think that’s a pretty fucked up way to go through life, and I don’t want things to be that way.

You’re lily whitegirl in danger from a nigger behind the wheel? Or maybe you could thank them for killing her black boyfriend later in life.

Ryan, seriously. Don’t be a douchebag.

That’s too funny. well, in defense of the in-defensible, the best possible hope that you can have for Ron Paul is that he might not know that a guy with a Minor Threat jakcet, a swastika tatoo, Doc Martens with white laces, and red suspenders is how hatemongers dress these days.

that, and I’m sure he was shocked at their profuse use of the word nigger.

Good ole Orville Redenbacher Ron Paul, he ain’t never done no one no wrong. He just thinks black people are a smidge faster cause that’s the way we bred them.

Posted by on 12/28/07 at 02:10 AM from United States

He just thinks black people are a smidge faster cause that’s the way we bred them.

Yeah, and we have other candidates that think they’re gonna be raptured any second now.  While it’s not something that I particularly want in a candidate, if they’re still willing to keep the government out of my home and body, then I’m gonna be favorable towards them.

And besides, if I’m gonna give anyone any leeway when it comes to potentially racist remarks, it’s a 73-year old man from Texas.  I don’t know about you, but most old farts I know have a lot of racist tendencies and viewpoints, it’s just how they were raised.  The fact that he’s that fucking old and not going all Strom Thurmond on us is actually a good sign that his tolerance for diversity is sincere.

But in the end, the fact is that his political positions and what I honestly believe he’d work for in office are still in line with what matters to me.  Just gimmie my drugs, whores, and guns.

you can demand that from any other cantidate. They are in the business of public service.

You don’t need to be seen at a Ron Paul rodeo with conspiracy theorists and Neo Nazis

These Stormfront idiots think Ron Paul is the Republican George Wallace, that’s their problem. Newt Gingrich was born in Georgia, the birthplace of the Klan, does that make him a Klansman? It’s guilt by association that the GOP bigwigs are using because they’re scared that Ron Paul’s core message of back-to-basics conservatism has struck a chord.

Posted by Manwhore on 12/28/07 at 02:22 AM from United States

Oh, and since we’re still on the Paulipaloser Tour here’s our president elect blaming the United States for killing Bhutto.

Not us, persay, but our policy of supporting Pervez Musharraf, and giving him money cause that really pisses of Al Queada.

You know what happens when they get mad.

Posted by on 12/28/07 at 02:29 AM from United States

Yeah, I can demand it from them, but they sure as fuck won’t give it to me.  They’ll just look at me and say “but how will I be able to micromanage your every action and dictate how you live your life like that, silly boy?”

They’re all so far off on the big government bandwagon that they don’t even know what small government is anymore.  It’s been reduced to a philosophical concept or talking point to them.

I can demand all I want, I can scream and bitch and moan and go on an epic hissy fit… but it still won’t change the fact that RP is the only one that will reply, “alright, here you go.”

Yes I wish there was another candidate like him that didn’t have all this nazi/truther baggage.  But there really isn’t.  So his supporters really just have to suck it up and fight on.

Hopefully next election will bring a better variety of conservative candidates.

That would be you.

Ron Paul on Neil Cavuto, 12/19/2007, after Cavuto tried the same bullshit “guilt by association” smear tactic, asking Dr. Paul why he didn’t give back the $500 that was donated by Don Black:

“I don’t endorse anything that he (Don Black) endorses”

That’s a pretty unequivocal denunciation to me.

With all due respect Lee, Jim isn’t and wasn’t running for public office.  And he was quite vocal in his thanks to Moore, but also quite vocal in making the distinction between being thankful for his help while still disapproving of Moore’s message.

He’s saying nothing different from what he’s been saying all along. Our involvement with these unsavory characters creates instability. Musharraf’s help with al Qaeda may be necessary but there is a price to be paid. Giving 10 billion dollars to him effectively props up a military dictator that overthrew his government. Slice it anyway you like but there’s a certain irony there. There’s nothing wrong with saying that our meddling has negative consequences.

Why are we giving 10 billion dollars to ANY government? That’s one of Paul’s core positions. The US has been attracting strays for years and now find itself overrun with all the shit and disease they bring. Big surprise.

Why shoudl Paul give a shit about Pakistan. they’re all just dick colored native types to that old loon. what he’s essentially saying is that he doesn’t care what goes on in Pakistan, and that’s a horrible thing to say.

Our fucking ‘meddling’ in the region has been the cause of finding and killing people who are staedily planning a wave of attacks on the West and western interest the world over.

I really would have loved to get Ron Paul’s thoughts on 9/11. Since everything in the fucking world that’s bad is our fault, what would he expect to have done to protect people frm another one?

Hmmm? It is an attack on our soil, and it definitely isn’t covered in the constitution. for whatever it’s worth, I’d also love to see what timothy McVeigh’s presidential cantidate would be.

I’d also not be surprised to start hearing that people are being threatened with death from the Paul campaign base. I mean, these are only White Supremacists and Gold Standard birchers who are paranoid and fucking armed to the teeth.

Posted by on 12/28/07 at 11:58 AM from United States

He’s not saying that. There’s a big difference between saying our meddling makes things worse and saying you don’t care what happens to those people.

He’s not talking about cutting off trade or diplomacy. He’s talking about direct aid and freebees. He’s talking about getting out of their politics and letting them fix it on their own.

I’m tired of running around the world trying to solve everyone’s problems. It doesn’t work. It like we’re the parent of a bunch of young drug addicts and they keep coming home for handouts. When they don’t get what they want, they just start stealing shit. Now we’re trying to pay off the drug dealers to help keep them in line. It’s crazy and it’s a losing proposition.

I’d personally shoot myself between the eyes before I wouldn’t help out if I was given the chance to. Not a great game plan to pull the plug on the Middle East and South Asia, and tell them to fuck off, in essence. And we haven’t even touched on Paulistinian plan for a brighter tommorrow. Nor his Neo Nazi support.

What the fuck kind of diplomacy will we have with Pakistan when they elect (you know kind of like you insinuate doing yourself) Al quaeda out of spite for Musharraf?

Ron Paul and OBL at a UN table ironing out our issues? Ron Paul doesn’t want western civilization to survive either because it wasn’t written in the constitution, so he ain’t touchin’ it.

I’m tired of running around the world trying to solve everyone’s problems. It doesn’t wor

We’re doing it for oursleves too Gripe. those are all future customers if we do the job right.

Is it about economics or just about helping people? If it’s about economics, which I believe it is, then trade is the key. That’s one of Paul’s key positions. Work trade deals. Don’t just give money away and expected these guys to fight clean. Trade prevents isolation. While trade is happening, there will be relations between countries. Whether or not the people want democracy is up to them.

If it’s just about helping people, then we should be in Darfur.

Oh, and GS, it’s pretty fucking hilarious to defend my ‘credibility’ from a Ron Paul supporter. It’s kind of like hearing that the homeless lunatic on the street corner is the sane guy and we’re actually the ones that are crazy. the trick only works of your stoned. It’s about both and Ron Paul doesn’t have a plan for either. Read what he said and stop projecting what you wish he would say!

what the fuck kind of trade will be possible under an Al Queada style government in Pakistan? do you htink we’re just going to roll over nad make halal goods for Pakistan once we’ve told them we’re not mad anymore?

Keep in mind that you have both said you don’t want to help Pakistan with money anymore, but you want to maintain diplomacy and trade with them.

so let’s travel the ron Paul path:

1. sorry guys we’re packing our shit and going home. sorry about your luck.

2. Nope. No more money either. Not even to the guys we like.

3. Hey, we never said we can’t be friends, we just said this is your problem and we’re turning our backs.

4. Hell, whoever comes into power we’ll maintain diplomatic relations with.

Ya, how dare he try to follow the supreme law of the land rather than make nice with a bunch of despots! Former glory? How about just adhering to its present glory. He’s not talking about repealing amendments.

I really don’t know what else to say, my friend. You know I like you but you’re not making sense.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. we’re not supposed to be paying an income tax too, but I doubt the federal government has any interest in restoring the constitutional controls to 1776.

Ya, how dare he try to follow the supreme law of the land rather than make nice with a bunch of despots! Former glory? How about just adhering to its present glory. He’s not talking about repealing amendments.

No one knows exactly what Ron Paul is talking about anymore. Certainly not Paul.

This guy had his fifteen minutes. I learned from them that libertarians care about limited government, almost to a flaw. I also learned this guy is pretty shameless in his approach…

that’s all I needed to know. Now we can just sit back and watch this guy unravel. don’t worry though, I’m not going to circle back and say ‘I told you so.’
