The Swedes may be among the most tolerant people on Earth, but Swedish Muslims are just as intolerant and prone to threats of violence as any other Muslims anywhere in the world.
Several hundred Muslims protested on Sunday at a pentecostal church in Stockholm against a preacher who denigrated Islam’s prophet Mohammed, calling him a “confused pedophile.”
According to police, about 400 Muslim protesters, including women and children, gathered in front of the Philadelphia Church, the main site of the pentacostal movement in Sweden.
In March at the same church, Runar Søgaard, a 37-year-old Norwegian preacher living in Sweden, had made comments about several religions including Islam.
“Mohammed, he is not God, he was a confused pedophile… Read the story of what Mohammed did. He married girls at age nine, 11,” Søgaard said in a sermon which was sold on a CD by his followers.
A statement signed by “Muslims of Sweden” called Søgaard’s remarks “immature and ridiculous,” noting that at the time when the prophet lived girls were married at very young ages.
After Søgaard’s sermon was reported in the Swedish press, the preacher has tried to justify his remarks.
“I made humorous descriptions of different religions, including Christianity,” Søgaard said in a television interview last week.
Sogaard, who is not a member of the Philadelphia Church but has his own religious group, is under police protection having received threats, according to his followers.
I wonder if 400 Swedish Muslims have ever gotten together to protest the extremists who have bastardized their religion. I doubt it. But some numb nuts preacher calls a man who married a nine year old girl a pedophile, and whoa!

Everyday there are stories like this that refute the liberal claim that America has turned into Iran. Can I even say G-O-D in public anymore? Many Muslims feel picked on by the Swedes and I could understand when I lived there. They were equally abusive to the USA and Americans. They are also pretty pissed that they are only there to sweep floors.
On another note the largest mosque in Stockholm is in söder malm at the Medboijarsplatsen stop from the subway. It is quiet and and they dont do the call to prayer from a loudspeaker. It was weird to see converted Swedish women blonde and blue married to Arabs. I saw one swedish girl in a full burkha and gloves.
The biggest show of violence I saw there was Palestinians and Israeli sympathetic jews clashing over money raised to fund settlements. Rock throwing quickly squelched by the police. Ill dig this article out of the newspaper in Sweden.

I lived there for over a year and did notice that rape was a problem. However, rape is not mostly commited by Arabs, but rather by Swedes on Swedes. They go out drinking on Saturday and strange things happen.
There are problems in Mälmö with Arabs who dominate in ethnic areas but the same problems exist in many other European countries. Simply stated Turks and Kurds and many other Arabs import their tribal bickering and remain Klanish wherever they go. Sweden tries to integrate the Arabs they import with education and culture. sometimes it works and other times the Arabs feel left out.
Sweden after WW2 created this project called the million man project where they built Courbusier esqe cities to house what was then a milllion immigrants thy needed to industrialize. Brasilia and this share one thing in common, they didnt work. If you ever see those little projects they are dismal areas with no life and poor human touch. They are also very isolated from the city,leaving the immigrants to feel left out.
Many Arabs then grow up in sweden with little education and a government paycheck. Where in America does that remind you of_ High crime exists, Hashish abuse and all of it payed for by the Swedish government.
It is a little more complex than just Islam, but Islam plays a role in the problem.

Maybe Oslo is an exception to your claim that,

Do YOU claim that
“Norwegian women must take their share of responsibility for these rapes” because Muslim men found their manner of dress provocative. The professor’s conclusion was not that Muslim men living in the West needed to adjust to Western norms, but the exact opposite: “Norwegian women must realize that we live in a multicultural society and adapt themselves to it.”
If I were a Norwegian woman and this creepy professor told me that I would have to ‘adapt’ to the sexual repressions of primitive immigrants that I didnt want in my country in the first place, I would go around to his house and kick him in the balls hard enough to do considerable damage.
And if they sent me to prison, I would still consider it well worth it.

I read it and it is very informative. It shows how Swedes are very scared of importing immigrants, almost in a similiar way to saying that you live next to a black man. they are very scared to share land with the help. Islam really helps them to demonize their new neighbors.
Think of it like this. Imagine that America decided that black people deserved all the same rights as white people. They then took over your hometown and made it manditory that you meet and greet the neighbors sweeping the floors. Many would be pissed that the guy sweeping the floors shared the same space as you do.
Now the government fights to integrate people or stick with the thinly veiled system of feudalism that exists today. Where do you stand? If America had the same system they could have the native people squabbling over Mexican legitimacy to do the job of a good American.
Islam is not the issue, it is the foreign immigrants right to take something over, and the implication over society. Sorry the country was not built on immigrants and they deal the best way they know how.
I can honestly say that their system has done its best job to leave no one behind, ours makes no procession for the poor. We make no excuses for them and regard them as vermin to be contained. Difference of opinion.
