"To what purpose are powers limited, and to what purpose is that limitation committed to writing, if these limits may, at any time, be passed by those intended to be restrained?" -- Chief Justice John Marshall, Marbury v. Madison, 1803 Thursday, August 02, 2007BWS: Bush Worship Syndrome

For quite some time the ultimate example of Bush boot-licking, toadyism, and general delusion went to Powerline for this gem.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new winner, and it comes from—who else—Hugh Hewitt.
I love it. “The people diseased with BDS.” This from a man who would literally fellate the president if requested. Update: And let’s not forget the classic Hewitt satire which is eerily dead-on accurate.
Seriously, read the satire and read the actual Hewitt quote and tell me that there’s any discernible difference.
