Right Thinking From The Left Coast
"To what purpose are powers limited, and to what purpose is that limitation committed to writing,
if these limits may, at any time, be passed by those intended to be restrained?"

A Prediction
by Lee

In the likely event that Obama becomes our next president, I have a prediction.  We’ll have to see if it comes true, of course.

As soon as he starts formulating policy, I will disagree with much of it, because he’s more or less your typical leftie liberal.  The Republicans in Congress will magically, mysteriously, discover that there should be limits on executive power, that government should be limited, that spending should be kept to a minimum, and so on.  So as the Republicans do more of what I expect them to do, and the person setting policy does a lot of stuff I disagree with, I’ll find myself closer to the situation we had back in the beginning days of this blog.

And the number of people reading the blog will slowly begin to go back up.
