Impotence Rendering

The right wing blogosphere is literally on fire over a report (trying to confirm it as these things tend to take on a life of it’s own) that the Marines guarding our Yemen Embassy were ordered to give up their weapons to the local rabble;

Central Command reportedly is furious over a State Department order that Marines guarding the U.S. Embassy in Yemen were told by the State Department to turn their rifles over to Yemeni officials before boarding a private plane to evacuate the country, Fox News reports.

The order is humiliating to Marines, who are essentially being told to break an oath they take during training, Pete Hegseth, CEO of Concerned Veterans for America, told Fox News Channel’s “The Kelly File.”

“We’re surrendering our embassy. And now we’re asking U.S. Marines to surrender their dignity, give up oaths they made, creeds that they lived by, and surrender their rifle,” Hegseth said. “I’m no Marine, but I know a lot of them and fought alongside a lot of them. Without their rifle they are nothing. They are taught you never give that up.”

The Rifleman’s Creed reads, in part, “My rifle, without me, is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless.”

You can see some of the video here;

This duplicity never exists in a vacuum, so once exposed the tap dancing ensued;

Fox News later reported that the Marine Corps clarified that no “crew-served weapons” were turned over to anyone, but were destroyed at the embassy before the evacuation. “They say their personal weapons were not destroyed at the embassy. They were instead ‘rendered inoperable’ at the airport and the destroyed components were left behind at the airport,” Megyn Kelly said.

Like that is any better? This action still renders the Marine as useless since he is without his weapon. The symbolism of destroying the weapons first, rendering them inoperable rings hollow and is laughable on it’s face. And how about the destruction of government property? What signal does that send? More taxpayer money pissed away by grocery clerks at the State Dept. with way too much power and a distorted sense of their own self worth.

Honestly, I am so sick of the Obama minions politicizing our military and making it a laughing stock around the world. Again, stuff this outrageous needs verification but if it went down as portrayed here, heads really need to role. But they won’t, more humiliation from the income re distributor.

Even Sailors Want To Get Lucky

A mini rant before the main one, I hate salacious tag lines without the pay off. If you’re going to hook me with ,”Navy Admirals charged with bribery for trading state secrets for free pussy”, I want to know exactly what they gave up, albeit missile diagnostics, carrier deployment schedules, or specific nuclear launch codes, whether Navy Secretary Ray Mabus wears boxers or briefs does not qualify.

OK, on to the topic at hand. 3 top Navy Admirals got busted for accepting bribes in the performance of their duties;

Three more Navy admirals have been reprimanded in connection with the Fat Leonard bribery scandal after they accepted expensive gifts in exchange for Navy secrets but none will face criminal charges, the Navy said.
The widening ‘Fat Leonard’ scandal has seen senior sailors implicated in a long-running bribery scheme that included rewards of prostitutes, Lady Gaga tickets and payoffs in Southeast Asia.
So far, the massive bribery scandal has cost the government $20 million and the admirals censured represent the highest-ranking officers to be punished in the case so far.

All manner of booty {snark} was used to entice, everything from kobe beef (those bastards) to Lady Gaga tickets (what, no Starland Vocal Band reunion tour tickets?).

I remember reading about this Fat Leonard dude before. After making tens of millions involving illegally obtained navy contracts and supply procurement orders, he got caught, most greedy bastards of his ilk usually do (looking at you, Sheldon Silver, you putz).

So these 3 get cashiered but do not face criminal charges, a sweet deal and they did not even have to desert to get it. But does the punishment fit the crime? The article points out that this will involve career ending reprimands, like this is somehow sufficient justice. I think an immediate dishonorable discharge, a reduction in rank, and an order for restitution to pay the fair value amount of the bribes rendered. I’m sure some Navy clerk can determine the dollar equivalent of all the happy endings that occurred with their bang bang girls.

Admittedly, one of my pet peeves is rendering swift proportional justice to those public figures that abuse powers and duties given to them by the people. Whether it be military, politicians or LE, with power given comes the responsibility and duty to wield it in the manner given and when abuses of authority are committed, to come down hard with extreme prejudice.

Too bad they don’t go after tax cheats, even those that break bread with the president, as enthusiastically.

Keeping Their Feet To The Fire

One of the main reasons I was glad that the GOP took both house of Congress in the last election is that now Republicans will chair the various sub committees. A residual benefit is that congress critters (Harry Reid) will not be able to derail the process, run interference for the president, or sit on legislation that deserves at the very least a passing purview. But back to the sub committees, congress will now be allowed to remove itself from the personal bidding of the president and actually do it’s job, separately as was intended. With the GOP at the helm, the administration will not be allowed to sweep things under the carpet or hinder any attempt at fact finding. Although the president and his supplicants have turned manipulation and subterfuge into an art form, it is encouraging to know that folks like Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, and Lois Lerner should not get too comfy or complacent, retribution (hopefully) is inching toward fruition.

A GOP packed Senate Armed Services committee will make it even harder for Obama to fulfill a 2009 promise that still gnaws at him, closing Gitmo. Even McCain has seen the light;

Just last month, Senate Armed Services Chairman John McCain (R-Ariz.) promised to help Obama close the detention center where terrorism suspects have been held for years without being charged. But on Tuesday, McCain and three other Republican colleagues introduced plans to sharply restrict the removal or transfer of detainees from the facility, which has served as a long-standing target of worldwide criticism.

Although it has not been for lack of trying. And no, we will not forget about the 5 high level AQ terrorists traded for the cowardly deserter, or allow them to delay the out come indefinitely. The final report is finished and from what I have read, desertion charges will be filed. Although I don’t expect Bergdahl to serve a single day behind bars, a conclusion to this whole sordid affair is owed, both to his fellow soldiers and the rest of the nation. And a further delay, orchestrated by WH pressure on the pentagon, should not be allowed to stand.

And speaking of Gitmo;

Tom Cotton just achieved Trey Gowdy status.

My opinion of Gitmo has evolved a bit over the years, not because of it’s need or relevancy in caging terrorists, but as with pretty much everything with Obama, we spend way too much money keeping these vermin housed. We all heard about the multi million dollar soccer field, the lavish buffets offered at every meal, and the palatial digs they use for their worship services. Whatever happened to prisoners making little rocks out of big ones, and eating only when they work? This Mottle Coddling of killers is infuriating.

I am starting to doubt the efficacy of keeping any bases open in Cuba and if a better (cheaper) solution can be found for housing captured terrorists, I am willing to listen. But for now Gitmo stays open for business, and bring on a top to bottom analysis of the costs. Prison should be a hardship, this should not be Clubmed.

UNEXPECTEDLY! Talks with Iran fail for the umpteenth time…

While the idiots that think you can negotiate with evil people are all surprised that the Iranian Mullahs have decided to thumb their efforts. I have to admit that I expected nothing else. When GWB chose to let the Europeans talk and talk instead of acting back when, I pointed out the result would be the same. Obama, the narcissist that he is, ignored that record, and did all but drop to his knees to suck the Ayatollah’s cock, but the result again is more of the same.

At this point it is obvious that Iran will only be stopped by force. That’s because of the lesson of Pakistan and North Korea. That lesson being that if you defy the rules and get a nuke, then you not only get to keep it, but you can use it to give cover to all sorts of illegitimate and illegal behavior. Of course, the first problem is with Iran choosing to use the thing or giving it to others to use. But the next one, which is the one that frightens me more, is with everybody in the ME – Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and even Iraq – deciding that the only counter Iran is for them to also have nukes. And that is because they all know damned well that Iran with a nuke is not just an existential threat to Israel, but to all of them. Especially if they end up with a president as weak and as ineffective as Obama some time in the future dictating US actions and responses. An American guarantee of support with democrats in charge is not worth the paper it is printed on.

Get ready for things to get far worse as the impotent and weak shitbags let this travesty go on. Maybe Israel will do the world a favor, yet again as it did with Saddam’s nuclear program in Iraq, and do what is needed, only to be ostracized for doing what we all should have done ourselves in the first place. But then again, when it comes to Israel and the Jews, the anti-semites run that show these days, so I am sure they know better than to care what the court of public opinion of the anti-semites tell them they can or can’t do.

if you doubted that the usual idiots in the LSM have no clue

Then read the Yahoo story on how IS is now training pilots to fly combat aircraft:

BEIRUT (Reuters) – Iraqi pilots who have joined Islamic State in Syria are training members of the group to fly in three captured fighter jets, a group monitoring the war said on Friday, saying it was the first time that the militant group had taken to the air.

The group, which has seized land in Syria and Iraq, has been flying the planes over the captured al-Jarrah military airport east of Aleppo, said Rami Abdulrahman, who runs the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Reuters was not immediately able to verify the report and U.S. Central Command said it was not aware of Islamic State flying jets in Syria.

U.S-led forces are bombing Islamic State bases in Syria and Iraq. The group has regularly used weaponry captured from the Syrian and Iraqi armies and has overrun several military bases but this was the first time it had been able to pilot warplanes.

“They have trainers, Iraqi officers who were pilots before for (former Iraqi president) Saddam Hussein,” Abdulrahman said.

“People saw the flights, they went up many times from the airport and they are flying in the skies outside the airport and coming back,” he said, citing witnesses in northern Aleppo province near the base, which is 70 km (45 miles) south of Turkey.

It was not clear whether the jets were equipped with weaponry or whether the pilots could fly longer distances in the planes, which witnesses said appeared to be MiG 21 or MiG 23 models captured from the Syrian military.

Emphasis mine, because people that actually know military hardware reported a different type of aircraft:

Although the report does not name the aircraft types being used, the Syrian group Jaish al-Islam captured a number of Aero L-39ZA Albatros trainer/light attack jets when it overran Al-Jarrah (also known as Al-Jirah or Kshesh) Airbase in May 2013. The Islamic State reportedly took the base from Jaish al-Islam in January.

Big difference between a Czech trainer and a MIG 21 or a MIG 23. And the important thing is the logistics. Training pilots is of no use unless they have people to maintain these old crates, spare parts to do the maintenance with, and fuel and ordinance to do anything with. Not to mention that all these aircraft wouldn’t be more than easy targets for any actual air assets operating against them or ground launched anti-air ordinance.

In short, this story is much ado about nothing, and they couldn’t even get the details right.

Why tell little lies when you can get away with big ones?

While I will admit that anyone making the case that there is plenty of competition for all the lying done by this WH, the argument can be made that the ludicrous claim they are transparent in their dealings and want an independent press can be seen as taking the cake. With so many key Obama people, all under investigation, destroying subpoenaed evidence, or the history of Obamacare and the lies and vote buying that went along with what will likely be remembered as the most destructive and insane thing put into law in the US, the VA scandal and the attempt to CYA, which I should add portends the future of Obamacare, the long running IRS targeting political opponent scandal, the lies about Benghazi, the fact Obama, after claiming a victory in Iraq, now pretends it is not his fault it is lost, the Snowden revelations of government spying on citizens, the whole illegal invasion debacle, the shady anti-business green bullshit, and countless other such stories of abuses and cover-ups, one is hard pressed to not do a double take at this brazen lying.

Brave new world it is, though. Tell the lie enough times, and the idiots should buy it, seems to be the strategy of this criminal gang. The only thing transparent about this WH is that they are crooks and care very little for what you think about that. Of course the cock gobblers in the LSM will just ask for some more splooge on their face instead of asmitting Obama uses them for Bukkake fun.

Keep Him Away From Me

Keeping Bergdahl front and center in the news may seem counter productive (why rub our nose in it) but since this administration views his release (and the price paid for it) as a smashing success, much like bagging OBL, I suspect we will see no end to the Bergdahl Reunion Tour, I smell a WH beer summit in the offing. But is putting him back on active duty really a smart thing?

Six weeks after being released from five years in Taliban captivity, Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is expected to return to life as a regular Army soldier as early as Monday, Defense Department officials said late Sunday.

Sergeant Bergdahl has finished undergoing therapy and counseling at an Army hospital in San Antonio, and will assume a job at the Army North headquarters at the same base, Fort Sam Houston, the officials said.

He is also expected to meet with Maj. Gen. Kenneth R. Dahl, the officer who is investigating the circumstances of Sergeant Bergdahl’s disappearance from his outpost in Afghanistan in 2009.

Sergeant Bergdahl’s transfer from the therapy phase to a regular soldier’s job is part of his reintegration into Army life, officials said. He will live in barracks and have two other soldiers help him readjust.

Ya think, maybe, this new job of his might involve the handling of live weapons?

I think it is a terrible idea to put him in the general population among other soldiers, I would want to kick his ass.

Six weeks is plenty of time to interview him, interview all the pertinent personnel that were there, plenty of time to get a handle on what happened and to make a decision to either court marshal him and file desertions charges, or release him from military service. Either or as far as I’m concerned, if he did not desert, in which case he has suffered enough and warrants an early release, or he did, in which case his next stop should be a prison cell.

I know he deserves a presumption of innocence and should get a fair hearing, your typical soldier may not be as magnanimous. Given what facts I know now (probably incomplete, I admit) I would not want him anywhere near my platoon, keep him isolated and preferably off any military installation. Shit or get off the pot, but let’s put an end to this Bergdahl saga.

I think I figured out…

The differed between a dangerous and stupid cowboy-esque president, like, say GWB, and any much more enlightened man-of-the-world Nobel Peace prize holders, like, say Obama, and it was not that hard. All it took was the recent Bergdahl incident and things like this. And you know what it is? The leftist love the process and pretense of following the law. Yes, I said “pretense of following the law”, and I meant it.

This whole ordeal smacks of Holder’s promise that if the rubes in congress where but to allow the Gitmo inmates to be tried in civilian court, they all would end up with guilty verdicts and life in prison. You only make such promises if you have a kangaroo court proceeding with a predetermined outcome. Then again, I could be mistaken and unjustly accusing Holder of presiding over a DOJ that enforces the law willy-nilly, considering the guy is such an expert liar that everything he says should be taken as possibly some sort of word play on the truth. Who knows. When you deal with people that believe their moral conviction puts them and those like them above the law, anything goes.

I expect this WH to tout this as a great success – they need a new diversion from the previous chain of diversions they tried subsequently to use as people found out how bad they were behaving and each went sour – but I also expect it to blow up in their face. These idiots are desperate to keep their criminal activities under wrap, which is why we keep getting story after story to move people along from one scandalous revelation to another. I guess the plan is to cause scandal fatigue or something.

Anyway, you ask how in the world I think this can go wrong? After all, they are going to have a pretend court hearing and the guy is being held by Obama, which means that he will not be tortured or held indefinitely like evil Boosh di. In fact, I see a future trade for another deserter cum enemy sympathizer in his future. That is, if this dude can be kept from spilling the beans about what really went on at Benghazi. Maybe we should give Holder what he once wanted, and have this guy transferred from military jurisdiction to civilian court. At least it would be somewhat easier for us to get the facts from the alternative media (the LSM would not dream of giving us the truth of what happened if it hurts demcorats as we all suspect it will turn out to be the case).

Abu Khattala, who was captured Sunday on the outskirts of Benghazi by U.S. special operations forces, was headed to the United States to face what President Obama called “the full weight of the American justice system.”

The Benghazi attacks, and the Obama administration’s conduct in the aftermath, have long been a source of festering political discord. And some Republicans on Capitol Hill were quick to voice skepticism about the administration’s plans to try Abu Khattala like a civilian.

What are the chances this guy just happens to choke on his hallal falafel and never gets to tell us what happened, huh? After all, they don’t want to send these guys to Gitmo anymore. I bet there is a prisoner swap in the work soon. Maybe for Jane Fonda. We should get her back from Hanoi.

Tell any lie so you can to avoid the problem

That seems to be the strategy of this WH when it comes to the Bergdahl deal. It went from Obama got Bergdahl back and deserves your worship, to it was someone else is responsible now that I am getting hammered for doing this stupid thing, to oh shit!, they are on to us, so lets double back on what we said to deflect the anger. I have no doubt that had the raid to bag Osama bin Laden gone wrong, that someone else would have been thrown under the bus then too.

The fucking leftards in the WH that saw Bergdahl as one of their own, and thought that by freeing him, likely so he could come back and talk about the evils of Boosh’s campaign of terror, would give them cred, are now all frightened of the pushback. So as Obama and his people always do, someone else goes under the bus so these progtards can keep pretending they are so much more sophisticated, cultured, knowledgeable, and cool than the other side. Especially that cowboy they all so loved to call a stupid evil genius with daddy issues. The blame game backfired on them, so now they are walking it back, but nobody is buying it. I guess the polls told them it was better to suck blame cock this time around than try to lie your way out of this one.

So now they are acting all macho and taking the blame. After all, Plan B is to now scrub Bergdahl clean and make it look like this was a good exchange. They must either know the attempt to pass off blame was not going to work, and thus cause them a world of pain come the elections in a few months, or they somehow believe that they can convince enough mushheaded idiots that Bergdahl is not a deserter and collaborator, but a standup guy that’s just misunderstood.

Burn in hell the lot of you traotors.
