The Telegraph has an article titled “Why should we take advice from a president who has surrendered the world to chaos?“. I am surprised the media is finally admitting that the bulk of the people that used to believe Obama was going to save the planet now see that Obama has been a crappy POTUS and has done more harm to world stability than any president in my lifetime, including Jimmy Carter and the left’s Boogaboo GWB. Obama is nothing more than a community organizer, and a lousy one at that because his ego gets in the way, and we are all going to suffer long and hard because of the damage he and his administration – including the criminal old woman running on the premise that it his her turn because her plumbing is on the inside – have wrought.

Black Jesus, when asked by Persian Gulf leaders at a conference in Saudi Arabia why he had chose to suck Iranian cock and act like a bitch, told them, with a serious face at that, that the horrible and stupid deal his administration signed with the Iranian madmen was “a sign of ‘strength, not weakness’“. I kid you not. These fucking people either lack a grip on reality or are so desperate to pretend they are not the inexperienced and totally ineffective credentialed lightweights that they are, that they have no qualms lying like this.
While the president acknowledged Saudi concern that the United States should not be “naïve” when dealing with Iran, he cited previous presidents’ willingness to engage in talks with Russia during the height of the Cold War as models to follow.
“John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan still negotiated with the Soviet Union even when the Soviet Union was threatening the destruction of the U.S.,” he said.
“That’s the same approach we have to take. Even as Iran is calling us the great Satan, we were able to get a deal done that reduces their nuclear stockpiles. That’s not a sign of weakness, that’s a sign of strength.”
Obama must be counting on revisionist backing up his shit, because while the US negotiated with the USSR, with the exception of Jimmy Carter whom Obama has finally managed to confidently and with aplomb steal the tittle of “Most ineffective and shitty president of my lifetime” from, it always did that from strength. John F. Kennedy almost started WWIII when Khrushchev tried to respond to US missiles in Turkey with staging Soviet missiles in Cuba. he didn’t acquiesce to their wishes and then pretend he had done the right think like this asshole is doing. He stood firm, told them this was not going to happen, and then took our missiles out of Turkey. Drawing an equivalence between that and what Obama’s ineffective and weak team got us in Iran is just ludicrous.
And Obama invoking Ronald Reagan, whom the left now reluctantly pretends they backed and respected – I remember armies of idiots undermining Reagan and backing pro-Soviet expansionist forces across the fucking globe, and had personal experience with some of that treasonous behavior by the left back before the USSR finally imploded – but whom they vilified and despised is also some serious gall. In fact, they accused him too of wanting to start WWIII because he would only negotiate with the USSR from strength, and more importantly, set out to rebuild the US military from the weak and ineffective shell his predecessors had turned it into, to the world’s most powerful fighting force. The USSR, to the chagrin of every collectivist scumbag out there, imploded trying to keep up with the US buildup Reagan was responsible for. And in case Obama forgot, the Iranians, whom had held US hostages for over 440 days, returned them as soon as Carter was gone and Reagan took office. Obama isn’t fit to be in the same room with someone of the caliber of Reagan, let alone pretend he is like him.
The world lost because of the deal they made with Iran. Gulf state nations that never felt obliged to get a nuclear weapons when their supposed avowed mortal enemy Israel had them, now have all but made it clear they will not only not trust the US to protect them, but will get their own. There sin’t a single US ally out there that trusts the US to do anything that was promised. I foresee that the greatest legacy from the Obama administration, other than a destroyed world economy, a weakened and divide America, a war torn Middle East and North Africa, and an in general, a much less safer world than even the one we had during the Cold war, is a world where all the worst nations are feeling empowered to go do more bad things and others are feeling they need to take action to ward themselves against those.
This Obama Admin Iranian deal will nuclearize the Middle East, which conveniently, is now also courtesy of the Obama Admin and the Hillary Clinton presidential candidate, the most destabilized and dangerous region on the planet right now. But it doesn’t stop there. Our weakness in Asia will make Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan at a minimum decide they need to go nuclear to thwart rampant and totally unopposed Chinese expansionism. None of these nations should count on the US for any kind of that promised backup after Obama got done with his reign of terror. Europe, overrun with Middle Easter refugees and terrorists pretending to be refugees, is collapsing while the Russian bear looks west and licks it’s chops. Traditional American allies no longer respect us or feel they are that anymore, while the new friends of this administration, which includes Iran, reward the grovelling from Obama’s people with a slap in the face.
Fundamental change, people.
Color me totally unsurprised that the pile of bullshit democrats told us had to be passed so we could see how it would fix all healthcare problems, and most importantly provide care to everyone while at the same time reducing costs, is going to fuck everyone over yet again in the coming year. From the article:
Amid rising drug and health care costs and roiling market dynamics, the spokesperson for the nation’s health insurers is predicting substantial increases next year in Obamacare premiums and related costs.
Without venturing a specific percentage increase, Marilyn Tavenner, the president and CEO of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), said in an interview with Morning Consult that the culmination of market shifts and rising health care costs will force stark increases in health insurance rates in the coming year.
“I’ve been asked, what are the premiums going to look like?” she said. “I don’t know because it also varies by state, market, even within markets. But I think the overall trend is going to be higher than we saw previous years. That’s my big prediction.”
If Tavenner is right, Obamacare will jump dramatically—last year’s premium for the popular silver-level plan surged 11 percent on average. Although Tavenner didn’t mention deductibles, in 2016, some states saw jumps of 76 percent, while the average deductible for a 27-year-old male on a silver plan was 8 percent.
The warning to consumers from Tavenner, the former administration official who headed the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and oversaw the disastrous launch of HealthCare.gov, the Obamacare website, comes at a time of growing uncertainty about the evolving makeup of the Obamacare health insurance market. With many insurers struggling to find profitability in the program, the collapse of nearly half of the 23 Obamacare insurance co-ops and this week’s announcement that giant UnitedHealth Group intends to pull out of most Obamacare markets across the country, anticipating future premiums and copayments is largely risky guesswork.
I may not be an economist, but I find none of these revelations to be anything other than what we should have expected. Since I remain unburdened by the idiotic collectivist notion that human nature and the laws of economics can be bent by the will of people that remain unfazed by reality, I had no problem seeing that nobody could ever deliver BOTH “free healthcare” to everyone – especially people with serious illnesses, AND somehow magically reduce costs. And with the information we quickly found about Obamacare’s setup after Pelosi rammed this shit sandwich down our collective throats, it should have been blatantly obvious that was by design.
First off, let me point out that it should be obvious to everyone that while the argument can be made that the democrats have not delivered what they promised, they did deliver what they wanted: a boondoggle so unworkable and broken, that it would collapse the US healthcare after making the whole thing too expensive and too cumbersome to work, allowing them to then force an ultra-expensive, mediocre (if we are lucky) and government controlled, single-payer system on us that would never fly otherwise. By these measurements Obamacare is a stunning success.
What baffles me however is how all these idiotic insurance companies that do have to live and work in the real world went along with this nonsense. I remember reading in one of the many articles about insurers now coming to their senses and pulling out of this monstrosity after suffering crippling loses that the insurers in question actually thought they could make this work. Seriously? These people that had to deal with reality, real economics, and real people all decided to believe the idiotic notion that somehow if government took this shit over it could through coercion and force incentivize behavior that was contrary to what individuals would see was in their own best interest?
I mean I can expect this level of idiocy from collectivist twits, and I admit that I greatly enjoyed the tears and clothes rending that followed their realization that their moronic belief that some other people – the evil rich – would end up footing the bill, was totally wrong as their premiums went up and the level of service from their existing plans went down (that is, if they even got to keep that plan). But seeing so many insurance providers with years of actuarial information that showed this shit never works, not just reluctantly going along with the corrupt and crooked democrats on this, but actually exuberantly advocating for Obamacare, vexed me greatly. I did a double-back and even had to ask myself if I missing something they saw. Could this collectivist miasma actually be something that could be made to work?
Lucky for me, the laws of economics, human nature, and reality prevail, as the fact that this thing is imploding, clearly shows. But definitely unluckily for every American tax payer and consumers of the pre-Obamacare healthcare system, the fast trip to the implosion of healthcare system that delivered great quality care despite the fact socialist assholes rated it low because to them healthcare was only great when it was below sub-par in quality and “supposedly free” for the masses, has sped up. What we had was not perfect, and there were some simple and actually not that costly steps that could have been taken to address the real main concerns (catastrophic financial results from unexpected costly medical conditions), but it was blatantly obvious that what the democrats did was going to hurt, not help. And at the risk of being pedantic, I say, again, that was by design.
Things are going to get worse before they get much, much worse. But hey, SJW will love the fact unaccountable and faceless government bureaucrats with serious personal issues and their own political agendas – like the ones running the VA system into the ground – will now call the life & death shots for all of us, instead of the evil corporate entities that were making profits! don’t be surprised that like happens in every collectivist hell-hole with this sort of system, we end up with a two tiered system that leaves the serfs woefully under served, but provides much better care for the elite. Like that system in Cuba we are always being told is so wonderful by your marxist cocksucker types.
At the risk of you thinking this idiotic NYT article “titled How Regulators Mess With Bankers’ Minds, and Why That’s Good” has to be an Onion piece, from back in the days before a Hillary shill bought the Onion and turned it into a parody of itself, I am still bringing it to your attention. From the article:
Bank regulators on Wednesday sent a message that big banks are still too big and too complex. They rejected special plans, called living wills, that the banks have to submit to show they can go through an orderly bankruptcy.
The thinking behind the regulators’ call for living wills is that if a large bank crash is orderly, there will be no need to save it and no need for taxpayer bailouts.
Pretty straightforward, right? Not for the banks.
The regulators deliberately did not communicate the exact things the banks needed to do for their plans to pass muster. In this way, they kept them on their toes — and treating powerful banks this way may end up playing a surprisingly important role in keeping the financial regulation effective over time.
Emphasis mine. In a system where they need you to not understand and know all the rules so they can come after you whenever it hits their fancy, you have stopped being a nation of laws and equal men, and become a tyrannical shitbag. For you fucking morons that think this is cool because the target is those evil bank, remember that these crooks have no problem applying this practice not just to their opposition political enemies, but to anyone that pisses them off.
And leave it to a shill for the DNC and the crime syndicate running DC these days to actually make the argument that this kind of practice is a good thing somehow, because when they don’t understand the laws it makes it less likely that they will sidestep them. Can you imagine the reaction of these idiots at the NYT if it was a republican president doing this shit? Can you imagine their heads exploding if that president did this to one of the left’s near & dear causes? Can you imagine the IRS telling those of us that actually pay taxes this is a good practice for them to have in place as well? All so you don’t get any bad ideas about abusing the system. And can you see them accusing you of doing exactly that when the lack of clarity causes you to make a mistake?
Only the left can go this low to defend the indefensible. We deserve what’s coming our way for giving these people power. When the banking system ends up experiencing another meltdown due to the lack of clarity of an obviously idiotic system that tries to defy the laws of nature and economics, do you think they will take the blame for it? Oh, who am I kidding. They will blame everyone but themselves, then demand that they be allowed to “fix it”. Calling this shit criminal or a travesty is being to kind.
In case you don’t live in the US, today is tax day. If you are like me, you set it up so Uncle Sam takes the least amount possible during the year from your paycheck, and after you do your taxes, sent these parasites a check for whatever you owe them. Unlike most of the people that tell you our system is unfair because others are doing better than them, I can actually control my spending and even do a bit of saving. I know how to make my money work better for me and don’t need to use government as a savings plan to make sure I don’t blow my cash on blow, booze, and bitchez. That whole thing about if we magically managed to redistribute the world’s wealth equally today, by the end of the month, with so few exceptions we can drop them as statistical noise, we would be back exactly where we started, with the same people complaining about how the system is rigged against them and looking for a handout. But that’s not what this piece is about.
I actually wanted to point out a major flaw in our system. When you have almost half of the people in your country not paying federal taxes or ending up with an effective marginal rate of zero or lower, and they get to vote, these people will never have a problem with the rest of us getting soaked by the crooks in DC, which continue to collect record amounts of money, despite most people predicting that things are heading south. Yeah, I know we have been told by a complicit and completely owned subsidiary of the DNC that masquerades as the media that we have been in an economic recovery, for 8 years now since Obama took over, but those of us actually working don’t see any of that recovery, and actually see things getting worse.
The thing is that we have 2 candidates, both in the same party, telling us DC should be taking even more money from the productive so they can increase the number of people sucking at the government teat. Shit, one of them has dropped any pretense of reality, and is promising $18 trillion in new entitlements and government handouts. My favorite one is free college. We get told that college has now become a necessity for people to qualify for better jobs, and thus, college should now be treated like so many other things the left wants us to now take as obligations of the productive to pay for the masses to have. I have yet to get any of the “free college” morons to explain to me why I should expect this to not result in college educations turning into even bigger wastes of money and time than they have become today. After all, we already have a government run free K-12 education system, and nobody that has a modicum of honesty and scruples, believes this system has been anything but an abysmal failure. It used to suffice to finish high school to actually be qualified for good employment. Then government took that over and dumbed it down so the failure of the unionized but well connected education establishment could avoid owning the miasma they created, and we all know how many people now leave high school without having met even the lowest of standards to show they actually worked on getting educated. Anyone else find hilarity in the fact that it is the same people that fucked over the K-12 system that now want to take over and make college free as well? That’s gonna end so well…
Anyway, back to talking taxes. Don’t get me wrong. I understand that we should pay some taxes. My disagreement is with a system that allows people that don’t pay anything to elect politicians that then tell the rest of us we need to pony up even more of our money for them to expand the abuse and corruption already rampant in the system. The best change to save our system of government right now, the one that would do the most to curb government abuses across the board, would be a flat tax and the abolishment of the IRS. If everyone has to pay an equal percentage, we will all have the same skin in the game, and with people that vote for a living suddenly out of that job, DC might finally be forced into fiscal responsibility. Even more important, the current corrupt system that allows the political aristocracy to abrogate itself unlimited wealth and power by forcing the rest of us to buy favors from them, especially taxation mitigation related favors, would implode overnight. No wonder that neither the collectivist & crony economy party nor the less collectivist and crony economy party want to do that.
As you send more of your hard earned pay to DC to be squandered by the vote buying aristocracy and their schemes and scams, remember that the answer to quite a few of this great country’s problems is actually quit simple. A flat tax would do away with so many of the special mechanisms that have propped up this dysfunctional bloated government we have today and in a single move force DC into dealing both with the economic reality they have created as well as return some sanity to the political class. It is therefore that it is anathema to the current political aristocracy whom would lose drastically should the status quo be upset. A man raped every year by the big government state – so people that pretend they mean well ca keep buying votes from close to half of the country that has no skin in the tax paying game – can dream.
If you had any doubt that there really isn’t that much of a distinction between the political elites in DC that has driving the pro-Trump revolution, all you need to look at is Paul Ryan’s pittiful appeal to pretend sending money to blue model Puerto Rico isn’t a bail out. Puerto Rico is as blue model as you can get. It’s what the left is all about: spend too much, massive corruption, cronyism, and abuse of power to the max. Now they are downright broke and dying, just like most blue model stats on the continent, think Illinois and soon, California itself, and they are going to DC to ask US tax payers to bail them the fuck out:
Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) blasted Wall Street investors on Wednesday as he tried to tamp down conservative discontent with a bill to assist Puerto Rico.
The GOP leader charged that “special money interest groups on Wall Street” are trying to sabotage the legislation by billing it as a “bailout.”
Ryan said that the government will be forced to actually bail out the island if Congress fails to act, predicting massive defaults on its bonds.
“Many big-money interest groups on Wall Street know this and have put a lot of money toward sabotaging this legislation in order to force a last-minute bailout upon Puerto Rico, putting U.S. taxpayers on the hook for their bad loans,” his office said in a lengthy statement. “They call this a bailout, because they know it is not. And a bailout is what they want.”
Ryan’s push comes as GOP leaders are trying to pull in enough support from both parties to clear legislation that would impose a fiscal oversight board on Puerto Rico and allow it to restructure some of its debts.
He dismissed “buzzwords and special interest ad campaigns” that describe the package as a bailout, and instead argued the House plan imposes much-needed fiscal rigor on the island while avoiding a messy set of defaults.
What a pile of crock. This is a bailout for a bunch of crooks that ran their protectorate’s economy and finances into the ground, and Paul Ryan blaming Wall Street for pointing that out is about as idiotic as it gets. Congress is starting with this bailout of Puerto Rico for a reason: doing it for Illinois, California, Massachusetts, Michigan or anyone of the other blue states looking at the looming bankruptcy their blue model tax-and-spend, free-for-all, vote-buying scam system first, would leave the tax payers that foot this bill for broken government systems no doubt that this was them bailing out failed blue model states, and then in a way that allows these blue states to keep doing the same stupid shit that got them broke and begging in the first place. No dice.
Fuck a Puerto Rico bailout. Tell them to tighten the belt and deal with the shit that happens. The blue model states on the mainland can then absorb the army of free-loaders that will move there to suck at the government’s teat, and their demise will be hastened as well. We all will win when the vote-buying blue political model implodes and we can do away with this shit, the pain it will cause notwithstanding. The sooner this house of cards collapses, the sooner we can burn down the nanny state.
The Obamacare supporting retards a few months back were all pissed at those of us that pointed out the abysmal failure that the exchanges Obamacare were going to drive every insurer out of that scam. When United Health Group started talking like they would have to bail, we were told that this was all talk that would go nowhere, because in the end Obamacare was not just sound, but the law of the land. fast forward a few months, and we get an article titled “UnitedHealth Makes Good on Threat to Pull Out of Obamacare that points out just that:
The Affordable Care Act suffered another jolt late last week with the news that UnitedHealth Group, the nation’s largest health insurer, was making good on its threat to pull out of Obamacare, beginning with its operations in Georgia and Arkansas.
UnitedHealth roiled the market last November when it revealed that it was considering exiting Obamacare after incurring hundreds of millions of dollars in losses related to ACA business. Then UnitedHealth CEO Stephen Hemsley confessed to investors meeting in New York in December that the company should have stayed out of the program a little longer to better gauge its profitability potential.
The company had cautiously tiptoed into the market in January 2015 after sitting out the first full year of Obamacare operations in 2014. “It was for us a bad decision,” Hemsley admitted to his investors. “In retrospect, we should have stayed out longer.”
So it wasn’t a huge surprise on Friday when UnitedHealth spokesperson Tyler Mason confirmed to The Washington Post that the company, indeed, was pulling out of Georgia and Arkansas, two relatively small states that proved to be highly unprofitable terrain for the company.
This development is troubling, especially if it UnitedHealth pulls out of other bigger states, or if other major insurers such as Aetna and Anthem follow suit. But experts have cautioned not to make too much of UnitedHealth’s flight from the market. While it is one of the largest insurers on the national scene, UnitedHealth nonetheless is a bit player in Obamacare and holds a much smaller market share than other rivals like Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Get the fuck out of here! This idiotic Ponzi scheme will fall apart as the major players all realize they got duped and pull out? Say it ain’t so! I guess I shouldn’t be celebrating this vindication, because after all, Obamacare was never about fixing anything that the collectivists claimed was wrong with our existing healthcare system or controlling costs: it was about destroying the existing system by creating so much tumult, chaos, and pain, that even the most adamant anti-single-payer system advocate would have no choice to accept the left’s takeover of this enterprise that comprises 1/6th of the economy and gives a government that has already shown it is willing to use its various branches against its political and other enemies, even more power to do so and control the uppity serfs. All of us better get used to our healthcare being crappy like this.
I guess that fearing the fact that the Hillary Clinton e-mail security scandal was getting traction, despite a massive campaign by the DNC controlled media to conceal the criminal activity that caused a massive breach of security, Obama took to the airwaves this past weekend to defend Clinton. I can’t say I am surprised. Hillary probably has evidence that will drag Obama down with her if she gets indicted, as she should be, and then convicted an locked up, so Obama is now covering his ass. From the article;
The latest example came this weekend, when Obama again insisted that Clinton hadn’t put the country at risk by using a private email server during her time at the State Department.
“I continue to believe that she has not jeopardized America’s national security,” Obama said during a Fox News interview, going on to praise her job as secretary of state.
Even in those remarks Obama noted he needed to be “careful” in what he said, since his administration continues an investigation into Clinton’s email arrangements. He stopped short of declaring that Clinton hadn’t broken any laws, a conclusion that his Justice Department has yet to make.
Why does this all conjure up memories of the Lois Lerner, IRS Scandal insider job? It is as if these democrats all think and act as if they are above the law, because they know that they will never be held accountable or something. This country is run by a crime syndicate that seems compelled to hand off the baton to another crime syndicate. How the mighty have fallen. Love that fundamental change Obama promised us all yet?
I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat, but when you have a government system that is predicated on the idea of the big government machine ultimately picking winners & losers, people should not be surprised that practically all the “good things” the big government types push for involve someone carving themselves some special niche. Case in point the recent CA minimum wage hike which was heavily pushed by a whole slew of SJW types as helping people out. Sure they all told you this was the decent thing to do and that everyone opposing it had a nefarious agenda of their own – after all, SJW types point out that the only people that would argue against helping those making minimum wage out, are those that want to profit by robbing these unfortunates of their earned income – but, sooner than later, it comes out they had one of their own.
Yeah, the SJW big government types love to take the credit for helping minimum wage earners make more cash, but only an idiot thinks they do this to help/ Case in point the union that pushed the hardest for this new legislation, asking for an exemption for themselves from it:
The labor union that led the charge for a $15 minimum wage hike in cities across California is now moving to secure an exemption for employers under union contracts.
The Los Angeles County Federation of Labor buried the exemption on the eighth page of its 12-page proposal for the Santa Monica City Council to review Tuesday while deciding whether to follow Los Angeles and increase the minimum wage.
The loophole would allow employers with collective bargaining agreements to sidestep the wage hike and pay their union members below the proposed $15-per-hour minimum wage.
James Sherk, a research fellow in labor economics at The Heritage Foundation, said the exemption is a union attempt to encourage businesses to unionize by making themselves the only low-wage option as union membership continues to drop off.
Oh, this is far more than about encouraging others to unionize: it is about creating an unfair advantage for the unionized entities by actually creating a huge disadvantage for those that are not unionized. As most of us that knew higher minimum wages would negatively distort economic practices pointed out, the lies about wanting to help people were just that: lies. There always is a down and dirty agenda, and as things like this despicable maneuver shows it is always really about helping the big government nanny-staters enhance their power and create even more opportunities for graft.
The only real effect this move to jack the minimum wage to $15 an hour will have on way too many minimum wage earners will be the chance that they end up losing their jobs, as employers cut down or switch to use unionized labor. Similarly, people trying to get minimum wage low skilled entry jobs will find far fewer of those available. Ask the people in Seattle how well it worked for them. But hey, the big government types and their special interests sure as hell scored big with this job killing idea. Of course, when someone in traditional media finally gets to reporting that this was just another scheme to help the people feeding at the government trough steal more money from the productive, those of us that pointed out there was some ulterior and nefarious motive, are going to be the ones painted in a bad light again.
Got to protect the agenda…
I speak from personal experience when I point out that when people piss off the left and members of this administration in particular, they end up being raided by the legal arm of the corrupt system. And I am sure this is done to find a way to punish anyone that dares stand up the these corrupt kleptocrats as well as set an example for anyone else that might think to stand up against the establishment’s chosen.
We have a system of law that was created by these plutocrats over decades, always pretending the idiotic laws were to help people, that now ends up making sure every single one of us is a criminal, at least 3 times a day. Most people feel fine with the bureaucratic morass that passes for a legal system, because the masters that direct that system against their enemies usually finds them not worthy of much effort, and lacking any taste of how contemptible things have become, they think the system still serves to mete out justice instead of the will of the masters. But piss off the masters, and they will show you that your assumption of having rights and constitutional protection was long ago rendered mute, and that you are at their whim, like this sap and so many others have found to be the case.
You ask why they would allow something like this to be published if they were abusing their power? The answer is simple: they not only see it as a deterrent, but they flat out believe nobody can do anything to them about it. After all, they have been pissing all over the constitution and over our freedoms for so long, setting new records of abuse over the last 7 plus years, and have not just gotten away with it, but get defended by idiots that think that not only is this fine because it is their side sticking it to the others, but because they are either naive enough to think that because they pledge allegiance to these vile and corrupt masters, they will be spared, or worse, because they hope that as everyone gets thrown to the crocodiles, they will be last.
Don’t piss off the new American aristocracy of this fundamentally transformed country, or else. When you trade your freedoms for the veneer of security or social justice, don’t end up surprised when you end up with nothing at all but an obligation to your new masters.
