I blame Boosh!

Because that seems to always be the battle cry of these morons on the left who can’t see the reason stuff like this happens is their policies and the implementation of said policies. Case in point revelations like One in five U.S. workers was laid off in the past five years and about 22% of those who lost their jobs still haven’t found another one, which shows you what happens whenever government assumes the role of picking winners & losers. Of course they can’t see the forest for the trees, even when the information stares them in the face.

Those who did find work had a difficult time with their job search and the effects of unemployment, the survey by the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University found.

Nearly 40% said it took more than seven months to find employment and about one in five of laid-off workers said all they could find was a temporary position.

Almost half — 46% — of the estimated 30 million layoff victims who found new jobs said they paid less then their old ones, according to the survey of 1,153 U.S adults done over the summer.

“While job growth has been consistent, it has been insufficient to produce enough full-time jobs for everyone,” the study said.

Despite a declining overall unemployment rate, the study says, long-term joblessness has remained a major problem as the U.S. economy has slowly recovered from the deep recession, which technically ended in June 2009.

The study notes that 3 million Americans in August had been unemployed for more than six months. Although that figure has been declining, it still is high.

The effects of long-term unemployment can be traumatic, the survey found.

What a pile of bullshit. The economy has sucked, and continues to suck, despite the fucking LSM’s propaganda to the contrary, and it is directly tied to the burdensome government meddling in the private sector. Whatever good has happened comes despite the people in charge’s efforts that have tried to deny that growth (oil industry anyone?). Our system is one of crony capitalism: one where the powerful and connected buy favors and gain huge benefits from people in government that in turn profit and keep power from selling these favors. This system prevents real economic growth and indubitably destroys the middle class and opportunities for those in or trying to get into the middle class.

That’s why the number of jobless people, which should include people that no longer get counted because they are off the government unemployment benefit dole, is staggering, and the trend so ugly. Most of these new jobs the LA Times want to pretend are responsible for the faux growth the left has been peddling since black Jesus took power, have been low end service sector jobs too. And it is not just that have lost jobs that have suffered. The employed, unless they were in the public sector, have also been hammered. The reasons are blatant as well. Over regulation to serve the left’s various agendas and government power grabs masquerading as social improvement projects, things like Obamacare or the EPA’s assault on fossil fuels, all have drastic economic consequences.

If we had a republican in charge the LSM would be telling us that we were in a recession. Remember that whenever you see these fluff pieces that refuse to acknowledge that the bad times come from the left’s policies and practices.

Even about this they lied..

It looks like that Obamacare “built in” cushion that was supposed to protect those not making so much from getting raked over the coals by a government mandate they purchase healthcare, whether they could afford it or not, isn’t as reliable as the donkeys that sold it made it out to be. In fact, if you look at the new speculative numbers as shown below:

A significant benefit of the Affordable Care Act is the opportunity to receive money-saving tax credits up front to cut the overall cost of health insurance, but now hundreds of thousands of consumers could owe back some of that money next April.

Those affected took advance payments of the premium tax credit for health insurance. Some married couples could owe $600 or $1,500 or $2,500 or even more. It might feel like a raw deal for some who are already suffocating under the escalating costs of health insurance.

“Health insurance is confusing enough, and now they’re adding the complexities of the Tax Code,” said Lorena Bencsik, a member of the Michigan Association of CPAs and owner of Prime Numbers in Ferndale.

When you file that 2014 tax return next year, the Internal Revenue Service will compare your actual income for the year with the amount you estimated when applying for exchange-based health insurance under the health insurance law.

It looks like the people least likely to afford this shit are about to get slammed with more costs than they could have expected. Of course, to people like me that live in the real world and not in liberal fantasy land, this was blatantly obvious. When the gangsters told you fools that they were “fixing healthcare”, making the thing affordable, accessible, and free, and all while reducing the deficit spending, those of us that can smell bullshit pointed that out, only to be rebuffed by people that want to live in fucking Candyland.

The article goes on to pretend that the issue is with life changes. Well duh! Did anyone not foresee this scenario? The advice? Report everything to the government about your life, and do so ASAP! Because after all, this government hasn’t shown any kind of propensity for abuse of power and a penchant to go after those it considers political enemies. Yeah, real sweet “free shit” deal there bozos. More intrusive government for crappy healthcare. What a trade off.

The costliest war the left stuck us with

Is without a doubt the war on poverty. And like every war the left has been involved with since WW2, it has been a miserable loss for America and the American tax payer. From the article:

Today, the U.S. Census Bureau will release its annual report on poverty. This report is noteworthy because this year marks the 50th anniversary of President Lyndon Johnson’s launch of the War on Poverty. Liberals claim that the War on Poverty has failed because we didn’t spend enough money. Their answer is just to spend more. But the facts show otherwise.

>>> Full Report: The War on Poverty After 50 Years

Since its beginning, U.S. taxpayers have spent $22 trillion on Johnson’s War on Poverty (in constant 2012 dollars). Adjusting for inflation, that’s three times more than was spent on all military wars since the American Revolution.

The federal government currently runs more than 80 means-tested welfare programs. These programs provide cash, food, housing and medical care to low-income Americans. Federal and state spending on these programs last year was $943 billion. (These figures do not include Social Security, Medicare, or Unemployment Insurance.)

>>> INFOGRAPHIC: 9 Facts About How the Poor in America Live

Over 100 million people, about one third of the U.S. population, received aid from at least one welfare program at an average cost of $9,000 per recipient in 2013. If converted into cash, current means-tested spending is five times the amount needed to eliminate all poverty in the U.S.

But today the Census will almost certainly proclaim that around 14 percent of Americans are still poor. The present poverty rate is almost exactly the same as it was in 1967 a few years after the War on Poverty started. Census data actually shows that poverty has gotten worse over the last 40 years.

The war on poverty has been a bust. $22 trillion (in 2012 adjusted dollars) has been spent – an amount that, if you go to the bullshit the left really likes to go to whenever they want to make anti-war talk, is over three times the total cost of every major war effort the US engaged in since the civil war – and we have more poor than we had before. If you choose to look at the effectiveness of this project, the best case scenario is that it is a wash, and realistically, it is a miserable failure that has pissed away a huge amount of money. Poverty, according to the collectivists, still is rampant.

The country’s private sector – the productive part of it – is being bled dry. The middle class is in a death spiral. Our economy is in the shitter. Trillions in debt we have no means to pay off, and over regulation that never address the fundamental underlying problem that government has abrogated itself the ability to pick winners & losers, are coupled with an agenda to allow government to control the flow of money and people – through things like the takeover of healthcare and insane environmental activism – to the benefit of those in power. Trillion dollar annual deficits, that do nothing but funnel money to the ultra-rich & well-connected and to those they buy votes from, are needed to even keep a semblance of stagnation (the reality is that we are stuck in a depression), have become the norm. More people than ever are unemployed, and the agenda of the last 6 years, including the support for an invasion from the southern border, all but guarantees this number will go up even more. Dependency on government handouts are at their highest, with more and more people lining up to suck at the government’s teat while the productive sector is bled dry.

Nobody but those that profit from this failed boondoggle can argue that the war on poverty has been anything but an abject failure. We would have been better off giving the poor a blank check as a share of the wealth pissed away so far. Not most of them would not have just pissed it away in record time, and then would show up with their hand out asking for more in record time. Saying that the “War on poverty” has been a gigantic failure and can never be won, is an understatement. But damn, this wasteful program has worked beyond any democrat’s wildest dream to help them retain their hold on power. And in the end, that was and remains the real goal of this insanely costly program. By that measure, this program has been a huge success. The left wins, again, as America loses out.

Looking at the future Obamacare promises us all

As if you needed more proof that government will do far worse than any private entity overseen by government, we find out that according to one of the whistleblower in the VA scandal case, government’s investigation of the bureaucratic machine’s failure finding no fault, is nothing but an attempt at a whitewash or a cover-up:

Attempts by the Department of Veterans Affairs inspector general to absolve the agency of blame in patient deaths are either a whitewash or a cover-up, the whistleblower who first revealed falsified appointment lists in Phoenix said in written testimony released Tuesday.

Dr. Sam Foote, a former doctor at the Phoenix VA facility, also called for an independent investigation into patient deaths and the use of phony appointment lists to hide long delays in care.

Richard Griffin, the acting inspector general at VA, denied any wrongdoing. Controversial language that investigators could not “conclusively assert” patients died because of delays was added by the IG and was not requested by agency administrators, Griffin said in his own prepared statement.

When bureaucrats run healthcare and abuse the system, and have no doubt that bureaucrats, but especially the progressive types attracted to these sort of jobs, being petty humans will do so to their own personal benefit or just to punish their political enemies, there is nobody to turn to. Did anyone doubt that this investigation, like so many others in the reams of other abuses of power that plague government run by progressives showcased by this administration, would find fault of any kind with the system? Didn’t think so.

This is the future of Obamacare, but it will be far worse then, because there really will be no recourse. Today people that don’t like the services provided by the VA have alternatives. Tomorrow, when Obamacare has done its damage and we end up with government in full control of healthcare – do not for a second forget that’s the end goal of the progressive movement – nobody but the connected and the powerful will have said option.

Thanks for nothing.

Whiplash!

It is one thing to be the perennial opposition, criticizing your political betters at every point, whether based on real or made up grievances, and quite another to be the one that needs to deal with the shit, as Black Jesus is finding out:

The rising clamor over the beheading of two Americans, and rapidly sinking polls, forced President Obama to reassure the nation last week he had a plan to deal with the Islamic State. He did some of what he had to do, but only some, and so most military analysts believe the expanded airstrikes will not be a sufficient match for the size and weaponry of the terrorist army.

They miss the point. The disjointed speech wasn’t really about terrorism and launching a new war. It was about saving Obama’s presidency. He is sinking fast and could soon pass the point of no return. In fact, it may already be too late to save the SS Obama.

The whole second term has been a string of disasters, with the toxic brew of his ObamaCare lies, middling economic growth and violent global breakdown casting doubt on the president’s stewardship. Six years into his tenure, nothing is going as promised.

Earlier on, he could have trotted out his teleprompters and turned public opinion his way, or at least stopped the damage. But the magic of his rhetoric is long gone, and not just because the public has tuned him out.

They’ve tuned him out because they’ve made up their minds about him. They no longer trust him and don’t think he’s a good leader. Most ominously, they feel less safe now than they did when he took office. Americans know the war on terror isn’t over, no matter what their president claims.

Forget the irony of how many of the things senator and candidate opposed the previous administration on now are things he feels he is due. And also forget the fact this administration clearly feels it is above the law and can simply do what it wants through gangsterism. And definitely forget the bullshit speeches about how when he was in charge America would regain its political good will and the respect of the foreign community. The fact is that either this man and the people he has chosen to surround himself with are the most inept persons – ever – or the agenda is to destroy the United States.

It’s fucking amateur hour. At least Boosh when he enacted his policies didn’t act like a petulant child and only really had the chagrin from the leftards to contend with. Obama and his team of losers have managed to destroy America’s credibility, economy, and future. We are a powerless banana republic run by a tinpot dictator-wannabe, with delusions of grandeur and no substance to speak off. Saying that Obama’s ship is sinking is akin to saying the Titanic hit a bump on the road. Speaking of the Titanic, does anyone else get the impression that as the ship is sinking the people in charge are more interested in rearranging the deck furniture than to addressing the dilemma?

I wanted to joke about this just being the fourth term of the Boosh administration, and when you consider shit like this, one cannot be blamed for making that case, but that would mean you are lifting the Obama administration to an undeserved level through that comparison/analogy. And remember that Boosh sucked.

I would be laughing my ass off and telling the bunch of losers that couldn’t drop on their knees quick enough to kiss this moron’s ass how stupid they are and that I am vindicated since I pointed out any democrat elected would end up making Boosh look like a fucking genius, except that the country is literally being destroyed by the Obama people’s idiocy.
