Tipped to me by Harley, with the words, “Lee would have LOVED this“. A lawsuit is being filed over … well …
8. [Defendant] was highly intoxicated on this date and time, and decided in his drunken stupor that it would be a good idea to shoot bottle rockets out of his anus on the [Alpha Tau Omega fraternity] deck, located on the back of the ATO house.
10. [Defendant] placed a bottle rocket
OK, “hate” might be a bit strong, how about the most hypocritical?
Sticking with that truism that you dance with the girl who brought ya, the president will not let go of that class warfare bone. The politics of envy and deflection, worked before, and since there are no magic bullets for what is ailing this economy (from a social European POV) making the rich pay their fair share is as old reliable.
But how … Read more
Big debate tonight on FOX. I know, ho hum, another debate, but this one is like the playoffs ,and this one I will watch, unlike all the others. Iowa is in 3 weeks and each candidate has got this one last chance to pop their jersey’s, to sack the other QB, and to dazzle us with their touch down dances.
The latest Rasmussen poll came out and, holy smokes, what a turn around. Last time … Read more
Meet Time Magazine’s person of the year:
For you memorabilia hunters, that poop he deposited is now available on Ebay.
OK, it was a shared award, this guy is also being honored.
Time loves symbolism, and still thinks of itself as edgy, so anyone or anything that can be portrayed as “sticking it to the man”, gets special consideration:
“The Protester” has been named Time’s “Person of the Year” for 2011.

Hell hath no furry like a death row inmate not getting any love. With all the fuss, grandstanding, and demagoguing of Troy Davis (Mumia and Leonard send their love) and the evils of capital punishment, Lawrence Brewer is (was) feeling like the red headed step child. Disenfranchised minority youth double tapping a off duty cop moonlighting to feed his family is much more sympathetic then a white supremacist, obviously, which does lend some credence to … Read more
In London, leftists are rioting and burning down the place for a third day. The crowds are primarily all minorities, mostly black, and it’s very obvious despite the LSM’s attempt to avoid that sore subject, and the fact what’s the problem again is multiculturalism gone haywire. I guess these peasants aren’t happy with thier share of the wealth redistribution anymore.
And it doesn’t end in London. I hear crowds of black youth have … Read more
The reasons behind dismal congressional approval ratings are rather obvious, not only is finding D.C. types that “get it” harder then what Lot went through in his search for 10 righteous men in Sodom, but it is clear to everyone that getting anything done is secondary to sticking it to the opposition and looking good doing it. I don’t think there has ever been a time in my lifetime where universal derision has not been … Read more
For those devoting even a cursory amount of time keeping up with all the crises of late, we got much on our plates. Continuous debt ceiling talks (who walked out in a huff today?), a review of our credit rating by Moody’s , a collective scramble to cut spending with no concrete solutions, a runaway ponzi scheme SS and Medicare system that nobody can tame or control, and a nationwide chorus of “throw them all … Read more
I’m happy that the GOP has held out on the debt ceiling and continues to hold out for more budgetary discipline. But there are rumblings right now that have me very worried. They have broken off talks with the Democrats and are balking at any revenue increases at all. And a substantial part of the base seems to think that hitting the debt ceiling is preferable to the deal that is currently on the table.… Read more
Last week, Politifact tackled the assertion of Mitt Romney (among others) that Barack Obama went on an “apology tour” criticizing America. I’ve already addressed the bullshit that Obama said he doesn’t believe in American exceptionalism. But the apology tour is nonsense as well.
Here, we’re checking Romney’s statement that Obama “has apologized for what he deems to be American arrogance, dismissiveness, and derision” and a host of other reasons. If you think American presidents should
