The Russians are coming!

The hypocrites released a report that was supposed to prove to us rubes that Trump definitely is that Manchurian candidate the suddenly anti-red democrats have been telling us now own us, and America was played into not electing the second coming – after the second coming of Black Jeebus,of course – by Gawd’s first daughter, late in the PM on Friday. Here it is. A pile of garbage, replete with conjecture and unsubstantiated/corroborated “facts”, and including this most hilarious of reasons:

The agencies believe that Putin wanted to discredit Clinton because he blames her for anti-Putin protests from 2011 and 2012.

What about this tidbit? That makes her a great friend to them IMO. Here she is selling America’s wealth to the supposed enemy for her own profit. Of course, as the libs that first tried their best to dismiss this event and now embrace it to make the desperate argument about Trump being a a Russian plant postulate, maybe she then dicked Putin later on and didn’t hold up her side of the deal, so they went after her! Or maybe, if you are inclined to actually believe that the Russians were behind this stuff, felt compelled to act, after the candidate the left told us was the only one that would not start WW3 actually said she would set up a no-fly zone in Syria that would affect another nuclear power. Oh the dilemma! Why oh why did they do it?

Me, I am more interested in why this dubious report, full of nothing but crap and lacking any substance, and obviously intended to undermine Trumps credibility, was released on a late Friday afternoon, which basically made sure the news cycle couldn’t rebut the nonsense in prime time. Recall that this tactic was and seems to remain the way this administration and the DNC operatives with bylines utilize regarding any “news item” that either hurt the left or needed to be “managed” to make it favor the left. When they had anything of substance or really felt they could use to push the news cycle to deliver the narrative, they released the content on a Monday or Tuesday, so as to give their army of operatives time to double down on the messaging.

Remember that these people couldn’t be bothered with security issues of any kind and never cared about either hacking everyone (especially American citizens and American allies) or being hacked. Clinton had an unsecured server so she could hide the Clinton foundation pay-to-play criminal activity – selling US assets, favors that hurt America and Americans, or both, for personal gain – that was hacked by everyone? Right-wing conspiracy! She only sent personal emails and stuff about her Yoga classes (as if cankles can do Yoga)! The Obama admin., didn’t just declassify that stuff because we now found out that she did have classified information that was basically stolen by intelligence agencies that opposed the US! Well, sure Obama lied about not knowing about this now that we have emails that prove they knew, but that is unimportant, because at this time “what difference does it make?” Nothing to see here, move on, said the FBI, of course, after the DOJ’s boss met with Bill and they told her that Obama would go down with cankles if they didn’t stop this investigation. Yawn! Security shmecurity! In the mean time others are languishing in jail, in court fighting charges and looking at hard time, the loss of their security clearance, and much pain, for much, much less. But the democrats could just not be bothered with the fact Hillary broke the law and compromised security!

And then we have someone doing the American people a favor and exposing the corruption of the DNC and the collusion with the DNC operatives with bylines masquerading as objective journalists to rig the electoral process, and suddenly these douchebags are all about security and the need to come down hard on the enemy! Red scare, baby! Trump is Putin’s bitch! Throw out the election results! He’s not my president! Hitler!!!!1!

What we need is more people reminding everyone that what the left really is pissed about, well other than the person the lefty intelligentsia thought was entitled to the presidency not winning and the organization as a whole being exposed as willing to cheat, steal, lie, and kill to make it so, is that someone actually revealed this to the American people. The democrats are pissed, and probably desperate to bury the fact that they are fucking lying crooks. That’s what this is all about.

How do you profit from a non-profit, other than by being able to point to all the money you raised for it and get credit/goodwill?

This is what this idiot does. He knows damned well that the Clintons are criminals and used this foundation of theirs to sell favors, because the email leaks all but proved that was the case, but here he goes again. Now he acts as if he is unaware of the facts, so that when you provide the facts, he can focus on some minutia that derails the argument, and basically wastes your time running in circles that have nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Everyone, knows how you use a non-profit to get rich. It happens constantly. It’s as simple as lying about what you are doing to get people to give you money, and then basically spending all that money on “operational expenses”. There is a reason why people like me that donate money always look at a non-profit’s balance sheets: more often than not cents on the dollar collected ends up actually going to help the people they are supposedly helping, while the people running the foundation pay themselves big money and live lavishly with the foundation footing the bill. I avoid those like the plague and donate locally for that very reason, where I know the donation, or at least the vast majority of it (90%) goes to the intended people needing help.

The Clintons, not content to do it the hard way took it to another level completely. I could point out that the ridiculous fees the Clintons get paid for their speeches, indicate either a level of stupidity that is boggling from the people that pay them, or point out that there is more going on than “speechifying”, but you for all your conspiratorial beliefs about the evils done on the right, would simply dismiss it. So I will focus on the other shit they did/and do that we have emails corroborating. There is a reason this scandal is dubbed pay-to-play, and that reason is that the Clintons sold favors in return for donations.

Let’s start with how the Clintons set that foundation up supposedly to help Haiti. Instead, it made them rich. Here is a list of allegations that should have been investigated if it were not for a corrupt Obama DOJ. Thankfully, the e-mail leaks that have the left’s panties in a bunch right now proved that the foundation was a pay-to-play operation.

We now also know that the whole Libya fiasco was about stealing oil. For real. Remember when Boosh was accused of invading Iraq to steal oil, and how angry you were (also especially the French and Russians that wanted that money Saddam owed them more)? Now Iraq sells its oil to China. But Libya, sans Qaddafi and turned into another Lebanon, thanks to the Clinton backed intervention that killed noble people and a US Ambassador, and caused a huge row as the Obama Admin tried to make lemonade out of the lemons by accusing a video for the tragedy in Benghazi, still sells their oil – whatever of it gets out of the ground and out of the broken country – to France. And man did the Clintons and those connected to them get paid big-time for that favor. The rest of us got straddled with the bill and the yet to come disaster an unstable ME will mean for the world.

Even Chelsea got in on the favor selling & buying. Ask the people Chelsea’s husband scammed into investing into the Greek banking system before they basically crashed it, how they feel about this shit. The Clintons, and Mark in particular, made out huge though.

The list is long and distinguished, but I am going to predict you will link a bunch of shit by idiots basically trying to minimize the facts that can’t be explained away because of the leaked emails, move the goal posts, and try desperately to pretend these crooks meant well or didn’t do the things their own emails prove they did.

I realize the year is young, but so far that tops the Sister Margaret’s Deadpool leaderboard for most naive comment of the year. We’ll check back in 6 months but methinks this will still be at the top.

Alex, this is probably going to come as a surprise – and in fact, it may lead to some kind of medically diagnosable shock – but to a considerable extent I agree with your assessment of the Clinton Foundation and its activities.

Now the Foundation has clearly done some good in some places (particularly in terms of access to HIV medications), but it remains a vehicle for influence building and peddling, as well as financial rewards, for the Clintons. I don’t believe that Clinton was directly responsible for Benghazi, but indirectly, there is fairly strong evidence that the US was using post-Gaddafi Syria as a means of (illegally?) channelling weapons to Syrian rebels. So you could make an argument that they were there in Libya for that reason. Whether they have done anything illegal is not really for me to decide – but immoral and unethical, yeah certainly. As I have said many times previously, I was not a supporter of Clinton, but I viewed the alternative as significantly worse. But that’s history now.

What I would ask of you is that you hold Trump to a similar standards of public and private behavior. The Trump Foundation was different in the kind of corrupt practices it engaged in (again possibly illegal), but no less reprehensible. There is still no statement from Trump on separating his business and state affairs. Moreover, I don’t see the current Congress or Presidency as being likely to deliver the kinds of electoral, campaign finance, or other reforms that are desperately needed. Any party in power has little incentive to do so when it might weaken their own electoral outcomes.

You gotta stop reading the Washington Times, too. Quite a lot of what it puts up is misinformation designed to pander and outrage people with similar  political views to your own. It’s not good for you.

OK, consider me shocked and shocked bad. You are playing me aren’t you? This is some kind of Charlie Brown setup where when I come in to kick the ball you do a Lucy and pull it?

I don’t believe that Clinton was directly responsible for Benghazi,

I hope you don’t think I made a case for that, because despite the fact that she made some fucking brutally obvious and bad calls, it would really be a frighting thing if she knew that was coming and just let it happen. But she was definitely part of the cover-up attempt. I blame Obama and his idiotic election driven foreign policy for Benghazi. He basically threw those people under the bus so he could avoid answering though questions that would have likely cost him the 2012  elections. Sad really.

there is fairly strong evidence that the US was using post-Gaddafi Syria as a means of (illegally?) channelling weapons to Syrian rebels.

There is a lot more than evidence if you talk to the right people. In fact, ISIS is a direct result of the whole misguided and idiotic meddling in the ME as well. Remember when Obama wanted to bomb the shit out of Syria but couldn’t provide any reason why we would need to? This all ties together, and when people find out what was going on, they are going to be pissed.

What I would ask of you is that you hold Trump to a similar standards of public and private behavior.

OK, let me break this down for you again: personally I care not a bit if Trump talks about grabbing someone’s pussy or said/says non-PC shit. To me, that makes him a more likable and honest person. People that act as if they are pure as the driven snow and want to punish everyone that says something that triggers them are fucking fascists and deserve nothing but scorn. The Politically Correct movement can’t die quick enough for me. Same thing applies to multiculturalism and a slew of other SJW social signaling bullshit. You will never get me to be mad at Trump, or for that matter anyone else (I might call out democrats for their hypocrisy but I will cheer them for fighting this shit), for not pushing the left’s narrative. And I will not apologize for that stance or change it. The worlds of Orwell, Huxley, Rand, and others that have written about dystopia all involve PC shitholes where thought and speech are controlled. I agree with you that haters are bad people, but with the exception of the Jihadi movement, I stand by these asshole’s rights to be douchebags until they cause people physical or economic harm. I fought to defend people’s rights to do so, and I will be damned that idiots can show up later and piss all over that and the constitution because of a false promise of making things better.

Also, if Trump dismantles the bloated federal bureaucracy, I will cheer him on. The US government is replete with idiots that think made up shit like global warming is more important than things that pose real threats to America and its people. If these people are laid low and sent packing, I will cheer.

But I promise you that if Trump starts fucking with my freedoms or those of others – and I doubt he will, because as republican candidates go you can’t find anyone more pro-gay, pro-abortion, and anti-PC than Trump – or starts using that office to enrich his buddies, like Obama did and Clinton was going to, I will be all over his ass faster than you can blink. Same thing if he starts fucking with the economy. As soon as I have evidence – not some DNC operative with byline’s pap, but real evidence – that shows this is the case, I will be all over his ass. But I am compelled to defend him against spurious attacks and lies, just like I did Boosh, even if it makes me feel dirty.

You gotta stop reading the Washington Times, too. Quite a lot of what it puts up is misinformation designed to pander and outrage people with similar political views to your own. It’s not good for you.

No can do. While they are not perfect, they have been instrumental in making sure that some horrible abuses of power and downright despicable behavior that DNC operatives with bylines tried hard to hide saw the light of day. But don’t you worry. I choose what I read precisely based on how honest they are about their bias. Yeah, I even venture out to the Huffington Post and CNN (although I need a shower and a stiff drink after visiting those sites usually) for news. Don’t find much there usually, but even they occasionally can have information of value.

Do not confuse the fact that I am beyond angry at the left, for anything other than I have had enough of failure, see a dark age in humanity’s future as 200 years of progress comes crashing down because of ineptitude & lack of leadership, and am worried about the world we are leaving for my son and his children (when that time comes around). That doesn’t mean I am a single value person. I am far more libertarian than you would guess and would love a world where I could just live and let live, but then again, according to the marxist now tearing down the world as we know it, even that puts me in the same column as Hitler.

OK, consider me shocked and shocked bad. You are playing me aren’t you?

No, not at all. I think she was/is to all intensive purposes a Republican. Heh! I know full well that this not how you see things.

In fact, ISIS is a direct result of the whole misguided and idiotic meddling in the ME as well.

Agreed. But bad as Obama has been in the ME, Bush/Cheney have a much greater responsibility for creating the power vacuum and Shia domination that ultimately led to ISIS.

No can do. While they are not perfect, they have been instrumental in making sure that some horrible abuses of power and downright despicable behavior that DNC operatives with bylines tried hard to hide saw the light of day.

Yeah… they’re owned by the Moonies. They frequently publish fake news and seldom publish retractions. The Al Gore canoeing story being an excellent example of this.

The Politically Correct movement can’t die quick enough for me.

Again, I understand you about PC, and I have problems with the whole idea that you can change the way people think by changing the language that they use. But there is just as much of this that comes from the other end of the spectrum – if people want to say “Happy Holidays” instead of “Merry Christmas”, who the fuck should try to stop them? People take offense too easily and don’t listen hard enough to the underlying intentions.

I once said, in polite company, something so unbelievably offensive that I still blush with shame when I think about it. I don’t know if it was heard by anyone present at the time, or no-one realized what I had actually said, but to this day, I feel embarrassed. My shame is genuine because no one actually called on me to apologize – but had I been a celebrity, it would have been plastered all over the papers. I think most people have at one time have had a similar experience – whether they feel as I do/did is up to them, but every time I see everyone piling on – regardless of which end of the spectrum they come from – I remember this from my own past.

But this doesn’t mean that people shouldn’t take responsibility for what they say. Too often people use the label PC as a way to shut down any discussion of what has actually happened.  And this is the problem I have with libertarianism now. It has become incredibly ‘me’ focussed. It’s the same as identity politics on the left. Everything is about my individual rights, and nothing is about greater responsibility to others. This is one reason that I have come to prefer living in Asia, where communitarian values hold (don’t read that as communist – it’s not). I am in the US now and I can really see how little I fit here.

The beer is much better than it used to be though. Just had a superb Sierra Nevada IPA…

In fact, it’s typing this response right now.

I don’t think most reasonable people would consider that boasting about committing sexual abuse is a form of striking back against political correctness. Unless it’s only politically correct to think that sexual abuse is a really bad thing? The ‘telling it like is’ is a different thing entirely.

Unless you don’t think he’s committed any abuse (his ex-wife and all his other accusers are wrong, and he himself is wrong). In which case that must be challenging the naive title.

But this doesn’t mean that people shouldn’t take responsibility for what they say. Too often people use the label PC as a way to shut down any discussion of what has actually happened.

Yep it largely just seems like an excuse for people to be arseholes. Because they massively overplay it.

I realize the year is young, but so far that tops the Sister Margaret’s Deadpool leaderboard for most naive comment of the year.

Well it was kind of designed to see exactly where things went and which sources would be used, but fair enough, it was lazy. I’m confident it’ll soon be beaten though. Alex has already suggested that he doesn’t think Trump will be looking to personally profit during his Presidency, which surely must rank right up there.

BTW I’m off to the ATP Auckland event tomorrow, should be fun.
