Life’s Lessons, Not Easily Learned

One of the monumental consistencies the left had exhibited over the years, such sore losers. Not only sore, but mean and delusional. I guess this comes with winning most of the time, but crickey, when they don’t get the results they want, it is an opening of the flood gates;

Funny, but I never saw Foxnews commentators equating the new guy, Obama, as president as “Hell”, but that is what you get over there.

It is traumatic not getting your way, especially since your POV is the only real POV to consider, so now we have cancelled tests in universities, and walk out’s of students, lead by lib teachers, all chanting ,”Not my president”, and you wonder why 1) our kids don’t learn in school and 2) they will grow up ill equipped to compete in a global economy.

I remember being somewhat disappointed in 2008 and really disappointed in 2012, but life goes on. A sense of stoicism and resiliency is the by product of disappointment at the polls, I suggest we teach them these life lessons by handing them defeat after defeat, good for the soul and all that.

I seem to remember a lot about Obama being the antichrist in 2008 and 2012, and that as a secret Kenyan Marxist Muslim, he had plans to destroy the US way of life, not to mention massive redistribution of wealth and to build a Mosque in the White House, and allow Arab states to annihilate Israel. And that he would be the last president of the United States. He did nothing on 9-11, just fiddled while the terrorists attacked. Oh, and he’s gay too.

Just three days ago, there were rumors swirling of a secret deal by Obama with the Chinese to invade on November 7th. This would be done through the massive secret Chinese military bases on the Mexican border.

This clearly means that the concession speeches by Obama and Clinton were part of an eloquent plan to trick us all into a false sense of security – they are planning to go back in time and implement their nefarious plots.

Fortunately, people are onto them. No delusion here, no siree…!

What’s your point? He is definitely a marxist, and I ask what would someone with a secret agenda to benefit the muslim cause have any different than he did. He also sure as hell redistributed wealth too. There more people on the dole and unable to find jobs than ever before, the middle class has been ass raped, and the super-rich have become richer than under any president ever. There is no doubt he destroyed the US way of life either. Look whom just got elected. As for Israel, he let Iran get the nuclear bomb, so maybe Israel doesn’t have to deal with a second holocaust on his watch, but that doesn’t absolve him of what comes when that happens.

It’s almost like you are some parody character setting up the easy points to score…

Alex wait wait! There’s more! Here is conclusive proof that UN military is about to invade the USA.

There are actual photos of UN vehicles in a Texas Walmart.  Obama has disarmed us! You should go outside right now with your gun and start defending your patch. Not a minute to waste! Without you we don’t stand a chance!

LOL. Short memories stogy, such short memories. And people just LOVE to set themselves up.

Were you around when Rich was complaining about the type of birthday party Michelle Obama threw for herself, at no expense to the tax payer? That was brilliant. Life lessons though, remember – that’s what Info Wars is all about.

What…A…Glorious…Day!!!! says Rich, about a poor excuse for a human being becoming his President. He sure is going to have own it now, having actively voted for the guy. I think this has the potential to be a hell of a lot of fun.

Well, from the context, what I got out of that was, it’s a glorious day because an even poorer excuse for a human being didn’t become the POTUS.   YMMV, of course.

Like I said, YMMV.  As a liberal, I expect no less from you, but considering how Obama bragged about having a pen and a phone, and how he made the Iran deal without Congressional approval, along with Congress rolling over time and again on Executive Amnesty and so forth, I am not sure what your point is.

Obamacare:  Hillary would follow in O’s footsteps in vetoing any attempt to repeal it.

Gun Control:  Hillary could always use the Executive Order.

    Partial Birth Abortion:  See Above.

    Executive Amnesty:  See Above.

    Increase Refugee Traffic:  See Above.

Assuming, of course, that Congress actually has the balls to oppose her policies in the first place.

And seriously, this place needs a new name……

    a dangerous narcissistic douche

They’re both dangerous, narcissistic douches.  And if Trump had lost, there was endless talk about how that would affect the down ballot, and how the Senate would fall to the Dems, maybe even the House if things were bad enough.  So yeah, a dangerous narcissistic douche with control over both houses could have applied to H as well.

I think you are making a big mistake trying to engage these people in serious discussion Iconoclast. The two morons polluting this and many other posts have no desire to do anything but shit all over the place out of spite.

The right thing to do is to either lower yourself to their level and just mock their stupid asses, or ignore them. The former is definitely the better option, but the first one is so much more fun.

I was rather surprised to learn today that Obama used fewer Executive Orders per year than any President since Grover Cleveland. Guess I’d just believed the hype and hadn’t actually looked into it.

I’m sure the millions of Americans in the groups Trump abused, ridiculed and threatened constantly through his campaign aren’t saying What…A…Glorious…Day!!!!, and for good reason. Easy to be gloating as an old white religious conservative – there are zero threats against your group from Trump. The only threats come indirectly, from the reality of a changing world where other groups increasingly seek and obtain the same rights and their expectations and desires expand accordingly.

George Bush actually did far more in terms of use and abuse of executive privilege. I do remember Lee warning people here repeatedly about this – you allow W to do it, and it comes back to hurt you later. And given that Congress was completely unable to negotiate or deal squarely with Obama, he took another route. The precedent was there.

Here’s a question? What happens the next time a Supreme Court justice karks it and it’s a Republican in the house, with an intransigent congress? The Dems can quite legitimately argue that it should be up to the next term president to decide on and sit on their hands until an election. By treating politics as a game for winners and losers, rather than allowing fair debate and due process, you are undermining the very democratic institutions on which the US needs to rely on. Next up, Chavez.

How do you know he isn’t :)

You guys remember when Obama won in 2008 and 2012 and all those thousands of folks went to the streets, rioted, broke things, because they did not like the outcome? Oh, you don’t?

And isn’t it great that Obama has come out against the violence and destruction in these riots, wait, that didn’t happen either? I guess he thinks he isn’t the president anymore, or maybe he wishes he was out there with a brow bar and a paint can. Yep, sore losers for sure.

    These  rioting millennials have nobody to blame but themselves since many of them stayed home on election day. But they are democrats in training, blaming everyone but themselves;

Right.  It ain’t Obama’s fault (it never is, it seems).  No, it’s (the GOP) Congress’ fault, for not “negotiating or dealing squarely” with Obama, who’s always the straight arrow.

Well, it was Obama who said, “I won”.  It was Obama who told Republicans to sit in the back of the bus during the Obamacare discussions.

But it’s still their fault.  Got it.

And never mind the fact that Congress is not at all obligated to “negotiate or deal squarely” with the POTUS.  Find me the COTUS Article that does so obligate them.

Like I said before, I expect no less of y’all.

    Read what I wrote again:

Well, it was Obama who said, “I won”.  It was Obama who told Republicans to sit in the back of the bus during the Obamacare discussions.

As for your question, it depends.  Obama had less than a year remaining in his SECOND term, so waiting for the next POTUS is NOT unreasonable.  If an intransigent Congress tried pulling that with two or more years to go in the POTUS’ FIRST term (with a potential SECOND term to follow), it would be quite different.

And on the flip side, I was on the losing side of almost all of the California propositions. My taxes are now going up totally against my will. This is not an ideological defeat, this is going to cost me money and I’m not happy. But this is the state I live in, I either accept the changes or move out.
