It is one thing to be the perennial opposition, criticizing your political betters at every point, whether based on real or made up grievances, and quite another to be the one that needs to deal with the shit, as Black Jesus is finding out:

The rising clamor over the beheading of two Americans, and rapidly sinking polls, forced President Obama to reassure the nation last week he had a plan to deal with the Islamic State. He did some of what he had to do, but only some, and so most military analysts believe the expanded airstrikes will not be a sufficient match for the size and weaponry of the terrorist army.

They miss the point. The disjointed speech wasn’t really about terrorism and launching a new war. It was about saving Obama’s presidency. He is sinking fast and could soon pass the point of no return. In fact, it may already be too late to save the SS Obama.

The whole second term has been a string of disasters, with the toxic brew of his ObamaCare lies, middling economic growth and violent global breakdown casting doubt on the president’s stewardship. Six years into his tenure, nothing is going as promised.

Earlier on, he could have trotted out his teleprompters and turned public opinion his way, or at least stopped the damage. But the magic of his rhetoric is long gone, and not just because the public has tuned him out.

They’ve tuned him out because they’ve made up their minds about him. They no longer trust him and don’t think he’s a good leader. Most ominously, they feel less safe now than they did when he took office. Americans know the war on terror isn’t over, no matter what their president claims.

Forget the irony of how many of the things senator and candidate opposed the previous administration on now are things he feels he is due. And also forget the fact this administration clearly feels it is above the law and can simply do what it wants through gangsterism. And definitely forget the bullshit speeches about how when he was in charge America would regain its political good will and the respect of the foreign community. The fact is that either this man and the people he has chosen to surround himself with are the most inept persons – ever – or the agenda is to destroy the United States.

It’s fucking amateur hour. At least Boosh when he enacted his policies didn’t act like a petulant child and only really had the chagrin from the leftards to contend with. Obama and his team of losers have managed to destroy America’s credibility, economy, and future. We are a powerless banana republic run by a tinpot dictator-wannabe, with delusions of grandeur and no substance to speak off. Saying that Obama’s ship is sinking is akin to saying the Titanic hit a bump on the road. Speaking of the Titanic, does anyone else get the impression that as the ship is sinking the people in charge are more interested in rearranging the deck furniture than to addressing the dilemma?

I wanted to joke about this just being the fourth term of the Boosh administration, and when you consider shit like this, one cannot be blamed for making that case, but that would mean you are lifting the Obama administration to an undeserved level through that comparison/analogy. And remember that Boosh sucked.

I would be laughing my ass off and telling the bunch of losers that couldn’t drop on their knees quick enough to kiss this moron’s ass how stupid they are and that I am vindicated since I pointed out any democrat elected would end up making Boosh look like a fucking genius, except that the country is literally being destroyed by the Obama people’s idiocy.

As the old saying goes, “You get the government you deserve.”

That’s pretty harsh, but hey, he was elected with only a little help from dead people that voted 30 times…..TWICE…..

Seriously, we can’t do any better than to re-elect that obvious incompetent?

Part of the problem was lackluster Republican opposition—both times, up against the Kwizatch Haderach (a Dune reference, for those not familiar) they couldn’t think of anything better to do than to run a “suit.” Suits are not popular these days, what with the economy. I’d have liked to see them run Alan Keys or Herman Cain (and, for the record, I’m rather suspicious of that phony scandal that knocked him out of the race for the nomination—it came from Chicago, and who has lots of connections in the Windy City?) if only to watch the MSM’s heads asplode. They’d spazz out like an evil computer intelligence when Captain Kirk gets to talking to it…”error…error…unable to process…BZZZZT!”

Another part of the problem was the fanatical MSM support that the Chosen One gets. He could shoot a man in the back just to watch him die, and they’d rhapsodize about how wonderful he was, and it was all because of slavery, Jim Crow, and Dubya-the-Antichrist. Ever since FDR, and especially ever since JFK, the Democrats and news media don’t want a candidate to run so much as a person to fall into a squishy long-distance crush on. They originally presented Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton as JFK, the Sequel.

That said, if the Omnissiah doesn’t find some way to stay in office, this tawdry presidency should insulate us from Democrats for a while.

During his United Nations address, President Barack Obama went out of his way to heap praise on a particular Muslim cleric.

The ideology of ISIL or al Qaeda or Boko Haram will wilt and die if it is consistently exposed, confronted, and refuted in the light of day. Look at the new Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies – Sheikh bin Bayyah described its purpose: “We must declare war on war, so the outcome will be peace upon peace.”

A fine sentiment, but one that Sheikh Abdallah bin Bayyah probably does not mean in the way that Obama thinks he means it.

The Washington Free Beacon first noticed the reference to bin Bayyah. It turns out, that President Obama’s exhibit moderate peaceful Muslim backed a fatwa in favor of killing American troops in 2004, in Iraq.

You can’t make this shit up.
