You would think that the morons at the LA Times, considering how blatant the evidence is to make the point, would realize that the revelation that 40% of American households are under financial stress, actually is a repudiation of the “social justice” agenda. Instead they are arguing that the cure for this distress is more of the very policies and practices that cause the harm. For these collectivist twits there is no economic malaise caused by the nanny state’s “social justice” agenda for which the cure isn’t even more obtrusive and destructive growth of the nanny state and the collectivist agenda.
This brings us back to one of the most brilliant quotes ever made:
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded- here and there, now and then- are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as “bad luck.” — Robert A. Heinlein
The class warriors thrive on misery. That’s why their policies always and without fault will create a lot more of it. They can then blame all those people they know the envious would go along with for the ills they cause, and the vicious circle repeats itself with more of the same results. These people pretend they mean well, but they don’t. Don’t be fooled. Whether it be “free healthcare” or “free Obama phones”, the truth is nothing is ever free. Someone pays for it. And in the nanny state, these “free” things always come with a heavy surcharge that serves to enrich the masters of the nanny state.
Find me some political hack telling you how the plan is to address some injustice and help the little people, and I will guarantee you that when you dig deep you will find a profiteer playing the unwashed, uneducated, and envious idiots as a means to enrich themselves and those lucky few connected people in their circle. It’s not a coincidence that the more the progressive class warriors try to help people, the worse off people end up. That’s the design. In the US the war on poverty has been going on for over 6 decades and has swallowed up over $15 trillion in the process. And yet, even with the progressives in charge and a total lack of respect for the constitution and our laws, all we have is more poverty and misery than ever.
The progs love to tell you about the evils of big Pharma. As usual it is projection. See, big Pharma will never find the cure for anything, because then they would stop making oodles of money. That they could make far more money selling these perma-cures never sinks in. Anyway, the point is that the left projects in everything. When they accuse others of doing wrong, it is because they do that. They expect big Pharma to never find cures, because in their minds, that would be the end of big Pharma. Same with poverty. If someone did anything that helped or fixed poverty, the class warriors would lose one of the most lucrative schemes ever.
It’s all pretense with these clowns. I think Robert Redford is in the news right now because he is fighting some blue state on some millions he owes in taxes. The case is the same with every one of these assclowns: they want everyone else to pay, but not themselves. This is Hollywood’s mantra. Overrun with progressives, no industry can claim the perks and exemptions they do except government. Take the progtards argument about money in politics their objection is usually about money not given to their people. When the money goes to donkeys, they have no problem with it. Even if it is dirty and illegaly obtained.
Fuck the lot fo them.
