They wish it wasn’t so

Racism is alive and well, and while the left would like to pretend the rich owner of the L.A. Clippers that got caught showing his true feelings about color is a republican, I have to point out that the NAACP isn’t ever going to have to pull lifteime achievement awards from a conservative, because they don’t like them. My bet is that the media will soon be ignoring this story, as their agenda to pretend they were dealing with a rich republican falls apart as the facts come out about Sterling’s real political leanings.

I have said it before, and I will repeat it again: the biggest racists I have met have all been left leaning scumbags that pretend they are all caring and such. Sterling fits the modl perfectly. I would not be surprised to find out the NAACP was honoring him for adovating for liberal policies that are destructive to minorities, but are percieved by the race huxters as good things. Watch who is trying to run away from this guy the fastest, demonizing this racist, cause I bet you they are very likely to be people that are worried they will be found out too. Also look for the disappointment in the LSM and the left as they remain unable to pretend this guy belongs to the other side. Doesn’t fit the narrative.

I’m sure someone will look at is girlfriend and then wonder “how can he be racist when he’s sticking it to a biracial woman?”

A someone that has had a good number of mixed race relationships (including currently married to an Asian woman), those times I dated a black woman I can only say that everything usually was pretty good, right up until black relatives and acquaintances showed up, which is when all the racist shit would start up – toward us.

I asked the wife of a former coworker about this at her wedding to my friend about how her “friends” reacted when she started to date a white man. She said that she suddenly found out that at least half of them weren’t really her friend because they couldn’t get past her being happy with a “cracker” and how she was betraying everybody for not sticking it out and waiting for a black man. This sort of shit in Seattle, where at least 50% of the people I know are in mixed race marriages/relationships.

Personally, if I was in this guy’s shoes, I’d tell her that I didn’t want all her racist friends to show up at the game either. They’re assholes, and who needs that shit around when you’re trying to have a good time watching the game.

Some hilarity over at Charles Johnson’s mouth-foaming blog. He’s outraged because some commenters linked Sterling to Democrats (because of a couple of donations a long time ago). This is from someone who devotes about 50% of his blogging to trying to link every fringe racist nut and every mass shooting killer to libertarians and Ron Paul. When i pointed this out in the comments, they had an absolute shit fit. It was beautiful.

You must like to see stupid in action Hal, because I gave up going to that site as soon as I saw him devolve into the moron he is now trying to outdo every day.

I just did a search for Charles Johnson and all I got back were a NFL player and an old white dude listed in Forbes….

Got a link I can follow to watch the stupid in action?

CM, you might want to actually go read what Cliven said in full context , but I know you won’t. Or if you do, you’ll deliberately miss his point.

I wouldn’t be worried what party this guy belongs to. After looking at his pictures I think someone needs to stuff his mouth with garlic and drive a wooden stake into him before the sun goes down – he’s obviously been dead for decades…

Yeah I’ve heard the whole thing.
The ‘context’ doesn’t change his wondering whether they’d actually be better off as slaves. The easy and simple answer is that they wouldn’t. Nobody is ever better off as an actual slave, no matter how closely you can portray black people in the US as slaves now. Not all black people are on welfare, and welfare is not even close to slavery. And he’s not like Rosa Parks at all. And if you’re going to refuse to even acknowledge the existence of the federal government, it’s probably not a good idea to ride around on a horse holding a huge American flag.

In context, it’s worse. Bundy was saying that when they were in slaves, at least their families were intact. That is utter horseshit. Under slavery, families were routinely broken up. Children were sold out from parents. Husbands and wives were broken up when one was sold. Slave families were broken up in wills. This isn’t really in dispute. There’s massive first-hand evidence of this.

If Bundy wants to make a point about the damage the welfare system has wrecked on poor families (black and white), that’s a point. But saying their families were better off under slavery is just so wrong I don’t know where to start.

He reminds me quite a lot of my parents and their generation – they came from a time of routine racism, managed to claw their way past it over period of 40 years, and still couldn’t say two sentences about it without making you want to facepalm for all the politically incorrect shit that would be wound up in it.

He has a point, doesn’t know how to make it without sounding like a Klansman. 90% of the problem is that he most likely doesn’t discuss it much outsides of small like-minded groups, so the fact that he’s coming off one step away removed from someone dressed in a sheet hasn’t occurred to him.

He’s most likely been embarrassing his kids since they were old enough to figure out nobody said “negro” any longer, but correcting your parents language is a lost cause for most of us.

SO, I do think you have a good point on the generation gap. The thing that Bundy and Sterling have in common is that they’re very old.

Well, the NBA came down on his undead carcass like a ton of bricks.

He’ll most likely sell the team, and if he’s smart get rid of that evil psycho of a girlfriend he has.

So the NAACP replaced one racist with a different one.

    http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-California/2014/05/16/NAACP-Honors-Al-Sharpton-as-Person-of-the-Year-at-Gala-Dinner-in-Los-Angeles

The Los Angeles NAACP chapter that withdrew its lifetime achievement award to embattled Clippers owner Donald Sterling last month honored Al Sharpton with its “Person of the Year” award on Thursday evening, in Sterling’s absence.

Oh, but he’s the ‘right’ kind of racist, so it’s ok.
