Tell the lie enough times….

Obozo was in my state yesterday stumping for money and more blue adulation to stoke his massive ego, and one of the things he praised the state for, in his speech, was the minimum wage hike the donkey controlled political machine foisted on an already abused private sector. The reality on the ground in “The People’s Republic of Connecticut” is that decades of democrat control have devastated the economy. That article is from early 2013, and things have gotten worse: much worse.

Businesses and skilled labor have been leaving the state at frightening numbers. The productive sector has been shrinking due the constant state of assault it is under by the “Tax and spend” vote buying party. If the dismal economic conditions that stupid collectivist, class warfare based, wealth redistribution scams driven, political opportunism driven have caused Connecticut were only here, one could make the argument that this comparison was unfair, but the fact of the matter is that the pattern persists throughout the major blue states that have been owned lock, stock, and barrel by the democratic party. The deeper the entrenched blue stupidity, the worse off, in practically every single aspect that matters, the place is.

The “Raise the minimum wage to help the downtrodden” cry has replaced the “It’s for the children and if you block it you hate children” bullshit the left used a while back to force people to go along with their stupid shit. It’s nothing but red meat to the envious and negative in its impact on anyone but the democrat politicians and the union bosses that would stand to profit from the automatic raise in wages, and thus union fees, tied to their minimum wage based contract. But these fucking class warriors can keep pretending that they are doing this shit because they care for the poor. What a lie.

Considering that gun manufacturers are leaving the state, the “lock, stock, and barrel” bit was nicely ironic.

Alex, were you going to write a post about what some people are calling one of the biggest acts of social protest in history? People refusing to register their “assault weapons”?

I still enjoy ripping into people over the whole “assault weapon” thing – getting people to admit that they don’t actually know what an “assault weapon” is, and that their position cannot be supported by facts.

Most people on the gun control bandwagon are there because of ignorance, rhetoric and fear – they are the useful idiots of political puppeteers.

I wrote on this subject a while back but I am thinking I need to revisit the topic. The insane anger from the gun grabbers in the state right now borders psychopathic. Some lady in one of the government branches involved was actually caught saying she felt these people should be executed for not complying to set a precedent, and she was serious about it. Of course, when they realized it played right in the hand of the people that point out only idiots would register their guns with people like this in charge, they seem to have deleted all reference to it.

It seems like very day I read about some stupid shit the state of Connecticut is doing. Now they want residency restrictions for sex offenders (which other states have abandoned because they’ve been a disaster). Is there some provision in your Constitution that when people get into the legislature, a hose is run into their ears and half their brains sucked out?

For every story you read there are countless others they don’t tell. I swear that the level of stupid in this state is staggering.

You are being way too generous there. They have nothing left usually.
