  1. Seattle Outcast

Everyone in Seattle knew the real game was two weeks ago against SF, who would have also kicked Denver’s ass had they not tried a weak-ass hail mary into Sherman’s corner.

Being #1 against a bucketload of teams with 3rd rate defenses is no preparation against the quality of defense rolled out by Seattle this year.

    Thumb up 2

I was impressed by Seattle all year, especially their defensive backfield. They played old school straight up defense — cover your man, contain the play and good things will happen.

  3. Seattle Outcast

I was rather impressed at the number adjectives used by sports writers to describe Denver in the past 24 hours – a small sampling:

    disemboweled
    destroyed
    dismembered
    humiliated
    routed
    scared
    embarrassed
    dismantled
    unprepared
    schooled
    bewildered
    pecked to death

Apparently, a liberal arts degree is a requirement for the sports pages. Who knew?

    Thumb up 1
