More lies and manipulation

And as with most of this shit from Obama’s team, it just happened to come about right before the 2012 election! In this case it looks like the unemployment data was manipulated and continues to be manipulated to prevent people from seeing how bad things are:

In the home stretch of the 2012 presidential campaign, from August to September, the unemployment rate fell sharply — raising eyebrows from Wall Street to Washington. The decline — from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September — might not have been all it seemed. The numbers, according to a reliable source, were manipulated. And the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it.

Just two years before the presidential election, the Census Bureau had caught an employee fabricating data that went into the unemployment report, which is one of the most closely watched measures of the economy. And a knowledgeable source says the deception went beyond that one employee — that it escalated at the time President Obama was seeking reelection in 2012 and continues today. “He’s not the only one,” said the source, who asked to remain anonymous for now but is willing to talk with the Labor Department and Congress if asked.

The Census employee caught faking the results is Julius Buckmon, according to confidential Census documents obtained by The Post. Buckmon told me in an interview this past weekend that he was told to make up information by higher-ups at Census. Ironically, it was Labor’s demanding standards that left the door open to manipulation.

Labor requires Census to achieve a 90 percent success rate on its interviews — meaning it needed to reach 9 out of 10 households targeted and report back on their jobs status. Census currently has six regions from which surveys are conducted. The New York and Philadelphia regions, I’m told, had been coming up short of the 90 percent. Philadelphia filled the gap with fake interviews.

The sad thing is that I suspected this was going on already and am not even surprised. There are a lot of numbers that seemed to skew in favor of this administration and the demcorats before the 2012 election and continue to be skewed to help them pretend things are not as bad even today. My bet is that there will be even more of this before the 2014 election.

With these people it is all about lies and manipulation of the truth. For our own good, of course. You would think findings like this would have the media in a furor and reporting how our government was out of control. But the sad fact is that these people are doing the dirty for the liars. Why worry anyway? They are going to make beggars and paupers of us all so we can use the lies.

The problem with this conspiracy theory is that other sources get similar unemployment rates and jobs numbers. So I’ll wait until we have a more in-depth investigation before drawing any conclusions. We’ve been down this road before.

You mean there is yet another scandal the media will ignore or make excuses for Obama and the donkeys for, and then the rubes will stop paying attention? Because yeah, that’s one road we have been on for ever.

Nixon called and wants his job back. He figures if he could get drummed out for the little crap that cost him his presidency but these crooks get to do so much more, he wants some of this social justice this crowd is always talking about.

The unemployment numbers are rigged. They have been since at least a year before that election. The fact so many people are sucking at the government’s teat, in one way or another, proves that the number is far higher than we are being told. My guess is that the WH will send goons out to try and kill this story, and the LSM will bury it if they can. People like you help them do it.

Obama was enrolled in a madrasa, Bill Ayers wrote his book, birtherism, the 2600 MRAPs, the closing of the Amber Alert system, the “real time video” of Benghazi, the whitey tape, the Ohio returns, the IRS commissioner visits, the 900 executive orders, the Indian trip, Air Force One’s flag, the refusal to question the undie bomber — all report with much more evidence than this; all turned out to be bullshit. You’ll forgive me for being skeptical of a single source in the NY Post — which is little better than a tabloid — that contradicts other sources of data.

Like I said, let’s look into it. But if it turns out to be garbage, are you going to write a post about how it was a bunch of garbage? No. Because the point is not fact; the point is outrage.

I notice what’s absent from your list there, and frankly, that’s some pretty damning stuff. That people are willing to believe this stuff means there is an underlying reason other than just Obama is black or democrat. But we can pretend otherwise.

Like I said, let’s look into it. But if it turns out to be garbage, are you going to write a post about how it was a bunch of garbage?

Do you hold the same standard for the reverse? When the story is true and this WH and their cronies in the media bury it or dismiss it, especially because people say they have to wait until the facts come out, but their political enemies get smeared with lies, I don’t see people like you doing anything but more of the same dude.

Besides, the evidence that they are lying about employment/unemployment numbers is out there. Again: look at all the people now sucking on the government’s teat. That would not be needed if people were in a good economy and employed. I know: blame BOOOOSH!

The things that are absent from my list are things that turned out to be actual scandals rather than made up stuff: things supported by actual evidence not one source in the NY Post. IRS, Benghazi, Obamacare, NSA. Things I’ve written about.

Even if we assume the Post’s report is accurate, try to concentrate on what the story actually says rather than you want it to say. We have one guy claiming to have filled in missing data. Did he skew the numbers up? Not stated. Were there more people involved? Not stated. Did the come down from evil Alinsky Chicago neo-Marxist Obama? Not stated. Once again, you guys are pulling out an entire conspiracy (in an election where the press were ignoring the unemployment problem and neither President had a real plan to fix the economy) out of crumbs. It’s just another iteration of “that election was STOLEN FROM US!”

I know I’m kind of odd that I demand actual evidence of wrong-doing before I call for impeachment.

Do you hold the same standard for the reverse?

Yes. I’ve written multiple posts on Benghazi, the NSA, F&F and IRS as those have developed. And I had a mea culpa post on the Black Panthers story.

There is a pattern, however, with the RW media lately:

    1) scream the heavens down about a scandal with little information
    2) never correct the record when it turns out to be garbage
    3) keep citing said scandal long afterward.

Oh, hey look! Someone actually did some research on this story! Imagine that.

Don’t worry, though. I’m sure this will still be trotted out as proof of Obama’s conspiring for the next three years.

Sounds more to me like some people couldn’t get their assignment done on time and put in their own data. I don’t think this is an example of trying to throw an election, but it is a good demonstration of government incompetence, and if a private corporation tried to fudge numbers like this it would be costing people their jobs all the way to the top, would send the stock plummeting, and criminal investigations (as it should). Unfortunately since the government only cares for the “common good” accountability for this shit will be limited.

    From your link:

So bottom line, there are some issues with the article itself (the meat doesn’t match the explosive headline) and the data also doesn’t quite line up. But we’re still looking into it, and are eager to hear what the Department of Labor and the Census Department are saying.

So this guy is saying that based on the bad data they have right now they are going to go with what was reported until the story dies? Or is this more of the “This is a false scandal” shit we have heard before? I am not holding my breath about getting the details. Because if the Census Department holds to form and does what every other agency has been doing under Obama, from the DOJ to the IRS, they will not release the information, and we will not get the total picture….

Again, the unemployment numbers are bogus. The amount of people sucking at the government’s teat proves that. That’s obvious. And that drop that happened before the election was bullshit. The same applies to many other economic indicators, including inflation. They are lying to us about what is going on because the numbers are fucking ugly. The only positives we have is that the people in DC are accumulating wealth at a rate that would make the young Catholic church envious. It may take decades for the truth to come out, but it will.
