I know what they know!

CNBC has a post up titled “What do millionaires know that we don’t? Optimism hits high“. I am sure they are trying to imply that the millionaires think that things are about to get better, like the morons in the LSMS have been pretending for the last 5 years, but they have it wrong. These millionaires are optimistic because they have been raking it in under Obama, man of the people, and they expect to do even more of that as the age of crony government controlled capitalism continues. The great class warrior and his fellow travelers have managed to make the rich richer, and the number of poor far larger, and yet, the morons pretend this is the party that cares about “social justice” and the downtrodden. Heh!

I have to disagree with both your premise and that of your link, that wealthy people are sanguine about the economy and think the gravy train will continue, far from it.

The wealthy, by definition those with over one million is disposable income ( and not to sound high fallutin’ or anything but that measure is inadequate, one million is today’s dollars is really not my definition of independently wealthy) are damn worried about the country’s economic health. They know that their stock market assets are artificially inflated, being propped up the Fed’s policy of increasing the money supply by buying government securities, and they know that this cannot continue. The economy is not growing, earnings of publicly traded companies are anemic, unemployment is still too high ( a drag on any economy), and the business climate is not improving.

The wealthy understand that it’s not what you make, it’s what you keep, preserving capital in this environment is no cakewalk.

Rich, I agree with you hole heartedly sir that unless you are one of the billionaires sucking at the government’s teat things are bad all around. I guess my attempt at sarcasm failed.

The point I was trying to make is that the LSM was pathetically pretending that the wealthy were gung-ho because they could see the economic recovery the left has spent the last 5 years pretending was there or right around the corner, coming. This article was nothing but a desperate attempt to give the idiots destroying our economy cover. I then attempted to out-LSM the LSM by going with a different angle, which based on the facts on the ground, was a far more plausible explanation. It failed, I guess.

Nobody but those connected to the crooks in DC – especially those peddling green energy bullshit that take tax payer money then declare bankruptcy – is doing well, and that’s a fact.

Now watch someone complain about my grammar or spelling and imply that makes what I was saying any less true.

    Thumb up 1
