Unexpectedly – oh, I can’t even joke about this anymore..

Belated holidays to all. I sure as hell enjoyed mine. Was sad to know so many unfortunates that didn’t however and it is finally dawning on some of them that their golden “unicorn” is to blame. Hope you are all well. So back to some fun.

Unless you are one of those Cro-Magnon idiots that watches Fox News and avoids the leftard media, you would likely have no clue that John Corazine, a democrat, senator & governor, CEO of Sachs, and one of the richest people out there, recently “misplaced” $1.2 billion from his investor’s money. For some “inexplicable” reason, the LSM seems unconcerned that a democrat basically stole $1.2 billion dollars and feel he doesn’t deserve the same treatment they gave Madoff, for much less. Of course, Madoff helped them create that whole “he was in bed with republicans, so republicans are crooks” meme, and well, Corazine, doesn’t lend himself to that kind of propaganda, so that explains the lack of interest just as an election year in which their guy faces a damning 3+ year track record of destructive & insane collectivist nanny-state policies, pops up, I guess. And even when they are compelled to report it is fluff like this. But thanks to organizations that are not part of the LSM, some of us “uninformed conspiracists” can find out about things like this:

During two days of recent congressional hearings into how as much as $1.2 billion disappeared from MF Global customer accounts, the chief operating officer of the imploding investment firm responded again and again that he did not know.

Yet as the House and Senate interrogated Bradley I. Abelow and other top executives at MF Global Holdings Ltd., lawmakers did not mention Mr. Abelow’s role as a financial adviser for the Environmental Protection Agency, which as of Tuesday listed him as the chairman of its financial advisory board.

Even as he finds himself the public face of a bankruptcy and admitted to lawmakers that he had no idea how client funds disappeared, Congress and the administration have voiced no public concern about Mr. Abelow’s role advising the $8.6 billion government agency on its finances.

“EPA relying on Wall Street for financial guidance is like the blind leading the blind,” said Jeff Ruch, president of Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, a nonprofit environmental advocacy group based in Washington.

NO WAY!

How unexpected! Another connected democrat that can say he has no clue where $1.2 billion of other people’s money went and still get a pass from the LSM, is one of the key advisors at one of our most rogue, nanny-state organizations? And by rogue I mean they ignore the real law and implement leftist bullshit they could not pass in congress while idiots defend this power grab by claiming there is a mandate for this kind of power usurpation. It is no wonder that Corazine’s team ran Global MF like the democrats run all those socialist programs that suck money and waste it? Things are in great hands, aren’t they?

Cue CM to chime an explain that the money isn’t lost, his dog ate it, so quit giving him a hard time already. Also, there will be links to pages that explain how only republicans change the weather, and that whales need birth control on demand.

I watched Fox News a few weeks ago when they brought this story out and they were quite fair to Corazine. They seemed to side on the “he’s a useless idiot” rather than stole anything personally.

    Detroit Free Press
    Cleveland Plain Dealer

The list goes on – but I think you see the pattern. This is not something that has been swept under the rug by the”LSM” unless you are purposely not looking.

Also – I am merely stating the falseness of the assertion that the only place one could have heard about this is through Fox – I am in no way defending this Wall Street turd. Just bored with the hyperbole when the truth is heinous enough.

Are you bucking to for CM’s position of village idiot Sally? Cause my point was precisely that when ever the LSM deigns to tell any part of this story they made it a point to pretend it is much ado about nothing – we need to wait for the facts! – and that either Corazine, one of the stinking rich democrats that loves how the nanny state can be used to make him and his buddies even richer, simply was duped or did not play a major role. Contrast that with the fervor and madness they covered the Madoff incident with, and then focus on the fact that they could blame republicans for Madoff while that posibility does not exist in this case, and you should understand that we are being duped by the LSM yet again.

I doubt you care to do any of these things an dunderstand why you posted what you did. Glad to see it did not fool anyone paying attention.

You know – it’s your petty bullshit name calling that has made this blog almost unreadable. I was too busy to take the time to read it very well for the last couple months but I see you are still just a flame thrower who resorts to name calling without provocation, doesn’t bother to research past favorite echo chambers and has a lot of psychological growing up to do. The fact that the story to which you linked in order to bolster your position that the “LSM” swept this under the rug actually proves the opposite obviously slipped by you.

Fortunately I have a full life.

I hope you “dunderstand” if I find something better to do with my time. You obviously need this forum – I don’t.

Woeful isn’t it. Nothing but petty bullshit 10 year old name calling and trolling, across a number of threads. No actual substance or evidence to back any of the lazy weak and unfounded allegations up either. Same old, same old. Why do they even bother? It’s all so transparently the only option when you’ve got nothing substantive. Again, it’s what 10 year olds do.

I did love Alex explaining how ‘useful idiots’ is a word. Priceless. People pay good money for that sort of writing. It sits really well alongside Balt’s ‘your a moron’. Have you guys thought of submitting this stuff to Leno or Letterman?

The fact that the story to which you linked in order to bolster your position that the “LSM” swept this under the rug actually proves the opposite obviously slipped by you.

Honestly, I lost count a while back. When I realised it wasn’t a novelty.

As an experiment today I went to CNN>com Foxnews.com. You can do this ANY day of the week, it doesn’t matter.

My point is, except for really important gobal or national stories they both carry real news stories. And by reputable sources yet they’re about very different subjects. There is no left or right slant on their “above the fold” news coverage as it’s all from AP or Reuters but the choice of what item to carry is unbelievably foreign to each other.

As today’s sites (CNN and Fox) chose to honor celebrities that passed on in 2011. There were a few people on both lists but when compared the differences stood out much more than the similarities.

Oh and CM the irony of you calling SO (or anyone for that matter) a troll was priceless. Did Santa leave you something bituminous?

You went full DERP? You never go full DERP if you don’t want the world to know that you’re a complete libtard troll. Seriously, the only people that use “DERP” are libtards on FARK and Daily Kos sycophants – you’ve completely lost any position of rational discussion actually being anything other than completely fake on your part. You are, by definition, a troll.

The thing is, it’s not a difference of opinion, it’s the fact that you don’t actually have one that comes even close to one espoused by anyone else here. Also, you display so much cognitive dissonance that I’m surprised your teeny little brain doesn’t explode like a grape under a shoe. You obviously don’t read the links you provide, or if you do you don’t comprehend them.

Again, why is someone that claims to be from/in New Zealand so interested in American politics? You’ve never really answered that one.

Again, why is someone that claims to be from/in New Zealand so interested in American politics? You’ve never really answered that one.

I’m not an American either, but I too find US politics interesting. Much more interesting than our (Sweden) own politics, and that of EU’s, even if I follow those too. The reasons for my interest in US politics are many. An obvious one is that your politics often have global implications. Be it finance, environment or foreign affairs – the US aren’t exactly tiptoeing around the world. :)

Besides, your politics are much more polarized, which sometimes makes things look like a freak show. No-one from the political right in Sweden ever calls (even) Social Democrats “socialists” because well, because they aren’t. That kind of hyperbole wouldn’t fly. Saner? Yes, but also way less entertaining.

Further more, the US has supplied the world with countless of Nobel laureates, numerous other science contributions, philosophers, authors, musicians and what not. Your influence is and has been massive. Add some religious nuttery and the death penalty to that, and I wonder, how could America not be interesting? Including its politics.

    Weird.

    Examples? Even one?
Or are you going to take the Alex approach and simply make the accusations?

It’s pretty obvious you and Alex share an intense hatred for anyone who dares to have a different opinion and gives you back what you dish out. Neither of you are very good at arguing substance, you both reliably fall back on anger and abuse when questioned.

See how easy that was? And all our DERP-tard had was “me too! me too!” And he’s been asked more than once to supply an answer, particularly in light of his ignorance of American culture, which he appears to be unaware of. I don’t know if it’s a matter of his forming his opinions from movies, left-leaning “news”, or reading too much Daily Kos and/or HuffPo, but he’s got some seriously fucked up ideas about how Americans behave/think.
