I watched it tank as Obama talked..

What am I talking about? the stock market. A six hundred point slide today, and a 6% drop in the NASDAQ, much of it as Obama gave his pep talk and yet again blamed those that won’t let him and his big government buddies take even more from the productive sector so they can keep the expensive nanny state alive.

Let me stress this again: if we let them raise taxes on us we deserve the far worse collapse that will follow them doing more of the same while pretending that more revenue now makes all the borrowing & spending not so bad. Maybe my brother in law is right when he says Obama does have a plan, and Obama’s plan is to destroy America. Because that sure as hell seems to be happening and happening fast. Even massive incompetence would by now have had some kind of a good luck break.

The market had fallen several hundred points before Obama took he podium. This is long overdue. The market has risen ramatically while the economy has been stagnant.

It dropped 100 points in those short minutes he was talking, and dropped more after that. He did nothing but play the blame game, while pretending not to be doing any of that, and played it poorly, because in the end he basically said he just wanted things to go back to the way they where. That seems to be a recurring theme with the collectivists. They want to go back to when people didn’t pay attention to the government spending and the record debt. They want to go back to treating terrorists like common criminals. They want to go back to when they could blame Bush for everything.

And why is it that every time I hear Obama say how great America is, I expect it to be followed with a loud “NOT!!!”. Can the guy be more condescending? This guy has the reverse Midas touch. Everything he touches turns to shit. That’s what you get when the country is run by academic elites and community organizers that have never had to run a business or meet a payroll.
