The Obama economic recovery!

The employment numbers for last month are abysmal. Well, here is some more salt in the wounds of the Keynesian morons running the country: half of last month’s new jobs came from McDonalds!

SG: Economists watered down expectations to 125,000 jobs created in May after a 244,000 gain in April, after several disappointing indicators, notably the ADP employment gauge and ISM manufacturing poll.

SG: McDonald’s ran a big hiring day on April 19 — after the Labor Department’s April survey for the payrolls report was conducted — in which 62,000 jobs were added. That’s not a net number, of course, and seasonal adjustment will reduce the Hamburglar impact on payrolls.

Get that? They cut the jobs added by almost half, and of that new number, half come from MCDs. Worse yet, how many of those jobs are seasonal? Great economic news! Don’t expect the MSM to point this out.

The problem is that the recovery is supposed to be accelerating right now because of the tax extensions and other things Republicans have been doing. So this doesn’t reflect well on the GOP either.

Tax extensions are meaningless when the economic environment is controlled insane policy makers that are both unpredictable and hostile to the private sector business owner, but especially the small business owner. If they abolished all taxes tomorrow these morons would still frighten the overwhelming majority of small business owners enough to just sit on their money and the economy wouldn’t see any kind of significant change.. Conversely, how much worse do you think things would be if Obama and the donkeys had actually gotten away with raising taxes, Hal?

Are you serious, CM? Their entire agenda is basically that, with the exception of the businesses they like and that they get big money from, private businesses are a source of money for government and make work entities. Profits are evil unless you are going to then donate big to democrats. Then they pretend you don’t make profits. These democrats have passed business hostile law after business hostile law, then granted waivers or exceptions to those that are connected, or simply their friends & donors, and screwed anyone else. Obama and the donkeys kiss up to the mega corporations they like, while pissing on the small business owner or the corporations they don’t like. There is a reason GE makes $5 billion and pays no taxes but nary a word is uttered about it, while the oil companies that made profits in far lower proportions are demonized.

The problem we have now with these Keynesian morons is a direct consequence of the fact that these lefty politicians practically always have never held a real job in the business world, and do not have a clue how intrusive and obstructive their regulatory bullshit, which always creates bigger problems than it portends to address and fix, are.

Again: government’s job should never be about picking who gets to win and who gets to lose, because not only are they terrible at it, but in general their choices tend to do massive harm. And these democrats are all about picking the winners and making anyone that doesn’t want to march lock step with them and pay them their graft, losers. The consequence of that is the economy we have now.

I am glad you decided to actually dispute the obvious facts that the last 3 years have been driving the US economy into the abyss with proof to the contrary Kimpost instead of resorting to the usual tactic the left does of demonizing the messenger. Your clever takedown of these facts sure make those of us pointing out that nobody should be surprised that inept and inexperienced collectivist used car salesmen doing a disastrous economic job are just kooks without a clue.

You may think you are being clever by taking this kind of weak ass shot at me, but I am afraid that whether it is intentional or just the fact tat they are the most inept bunch of idiots ever, the end result will be catastrophic for us all. It doesn’t change the fact that our economy is being destroyed at a record pace. Then again, at least I have the consolation that you Europeans are on the way to make that happen to yourself far sooner than it is happening here. Oh yeah, some Greek guy told me to tell you to send him more money.

The stupid seems strong with Kimpost..

Jim was pointing out how people, especially those that refuse to let reality crowd their fantasy views, like you leftists, often refuse to see the truth even when it smashes you in the head. He is damned right about that.

Our president is already in campaign mode and ignoring the economy, because he has no clue about the later and thinks a fauning MSM will help him with the former, and that has consequences.

Its not just the actions they have taken, Like ObamaCare. Its ones they are THREATENING to make as well. Most small Business owners fall into the 250K+ bracket. The dems have been talking for months about raising thier taxes, after OC gave them more costs per employee already.

Why would any business hire more people with all of that uncertainty?

I apologize that I have a better understanding of the political climate and fall-out of Neville Chamberlain’s actions than I do of Stalin’s broken promises. I would happily have used Stalin or Mussolini as examples, or more recent ones as well, but I assumed we *all* knew what Neville did, and how horribly it failed, well enough to need no background or googling for those reading my post. (I could have brought up Saddam and the U.N. resolutions that passed as a result of his failed attack on Kuwait, and how quickly he ignored them, but that just opens a whole nother can o worms…)
In other words, the point stands, and the idea behind the point stands on its own.

So let me get this traight Kimpost, your rebuttal of the argument is that you don’t like the comparisions invoked, no matter which leftist twit is used, and hence, you dismiss the fact that the Keynesians have no clue what they are doing and are burying us all, with trite jokes that it’s all some lunatic conspiracy theory?

Here is a prediction: watch these Keynesians come up in the next mont or so with another “economic plan”, in an effort to address the sliding poll numbers – not the economic problems -and I guarantee you it will be more of the same stupi. They will double down on a losing bet.
