Or not:

The White House Press Office has refused to give the Boston Herald full access to President Obama’s Boston fund-raiser today, in e-mails objecting to the newspaper’s front page placement of a Mitt Romney op-ed, saying pool reporters are chosen based on whether they cover the news “fairly.”

“I tend to consider the degree to which papers have demonstrated to covering the White House regularly and fairly in determining local pool reporters,” White House spokesman Matt Lehrich wrote in response to a Herald request for full access to the presidential visit.

“My point about the op-ed was not that you ran it but that it was the full front page, which excluded any coverage of the visit of a sitting US President to Boston. I think that raises a fair question about whether the paper is unbiased in its coverage of the President’s visits,” Lehrich wrote.

Shorter WH: If you don’t carry the talking points and push the agenda, but only point out that we are playing people, we don’t want you here. Now get with the program or else! Seriously, can you imagine the outcry if Bush had pulled a stunt like this?

What i dont understand is the lack of outrage from the other Media outlets.

I know they are in the tank for President Obama, but at what point does it go too far?

To me this is no differenet than the silence from NOW and other Womens Groups during President Clintons shenanigans.

[LemonySnickett]”Fairly” here being a word meaning “You’re supposed to only be our friends and never ever talk to those nasty people that I hate so I shall be having a tantrum now.”[/LemonySnickett]

They are not outraged because it isn’t happening to them, even better it is to the competition, and because they agree the WH should get these others that don’t know they need to walk the DNC line to keep the serfs properly under control, in line. The Boston Globe is a liberal bunch. They just were candid and honest in a weak moment of desperation, and for that they are getting schooled. Monolithic thought to push the ideology and the beatings will continue till morale improves.

One wonders if they’re scared. They’ve shown some backbone before on really big things, but likely they’re nervous and thinking “Oh, well, it’s just one fundraiser…”

It bothers me (a lot) that Obama and his administration are so willing to use these tactics of attempting to blackmail everyone into not cooperating with anyone but Democrats. He’s done it to our foreign allies, he’s done it to the voters, and he’s repeatedly done it to the news media, but the “Support Democrats” mentality is so deeply entrenched there that they just keep taking it.
